I am a homeowner and used quantity…
I am a homeowner and used quantity surveyor for 2 reasons 1-) get an independent estimation 2-) share quantity surveyor with builders to get a quote (obviously without exposing the costs column). This makes all sense to compare apples with oranges as a person who doesn't have enough opinion about building extensions. Dgough was the most reasonable priced quantity surveyor and provided me a good estimation on how much the overall project can cost based on our location. At the end of the day I recommend anyone getting a cost estimation service regardless of extensions size; and dgough services are reasonably priced for even smaller extension projects.
