It is easy to start. Other courses were to difficult for me that have no time for homework. The videos are easy, fun and entertaining. You just find yourself learning without any effort. But I recommend to do some homework and challenges, and write by hand. I did not have time but learned anyway. I was not a complete beginner and they took time to find the right level for me to begin. And I have few hours free for a personal teacher, but they found great teachers and a time that fit me even with the big time difference. And they found time to meet me in Korea.

I’ve been studying with Delicious Korean for a year now, and honestly, I can’t believe how fast the time has gone.

Before finding this course, I had tried other methods, but none of them truly worked for me. When I first watched the introductory video, something just clicked. As a secondary school Spanish teacher, I know exactly where students struggle. Writing in a new language can feel overwhelming, and what we really need—especially in real life—is confidence in speaking (and maybe some reading too).

The idea of learning like a baby felt so refreshing and natural that I decided to trust the process—and it has gone far beyond anything I expected.

My coach is incredibly kind, patient, and supportive. I have never once felt nervous or judged, even when I didn’t know how to express something. That feeling of safety makes such a difference—it allows you to relax and actually enjoy learning.

After every lesson, I receive a summary of the vocabulary and structures we’ve worked on, which makes it so much easier to keep progressing and feel a real sense of achievement.

And what makes this experience even more special is the Community. There is always someone there—ready to help, answer questions, or simply encourage you. It genuinely feels like you’re not doing this alone.

If you’re unsure, I completely understand—I was there too. But as a language teacher myself, I can honestly say this method works.

Don’t overthink it. Give it a try and see for yourself—you might be surprised by how much you enjoy it, like me.

My Korean learning experience started in March 2024 and I've learned Korean so easily. I grew up learning English and Arabic so learning Korean as though I was a baby again came super easy to me.
During my lessons, my coach allows me to think and learn Korean so easily. Our conversations are like those every-day conversations you would have with friends and family.
I recommend Delicious Korean to anyone who wants to learn Korean comfortably and at their own pace.

My first experience with DK was through short vocabulary videos on Instagram. I enrolled in a workshop to learn more about the program and decided to give it a try. That was 18 months ago. I thought the chapters were well constructed, the progression steady and intuitive, and what really sold me was the combined 1:1 sessions. From week one, you barely know a few expressions and yet you’re encouraged to speak and have conversations with a native speaker. Such a confidence booster!

I’m currently at a pre‑intermediate level and have switched a few months ago to a twice‑a‑week 1:1 session option with my current coach. Our sessions are tailored to my preferences — we do half spontaneous conversation and half class‑based reinforcement practice. My coach goes along with the way I learn, and over time - just like my former coach - has also become a really good friend of mine. We end up laughing so much every single time we meet!

Another thing I truly appreciate is how attentive the DK team is. They read every single 1:1 session feedback and respond to every suggestion. I once mentioned that I wished there were a twice‑a‑week meeting option — and they actually made it happen. And if you ever need to contact them, they reply as quickly as possible, even with the time‑zone difference.

Enrolling with DK is the best thing I’ve done in 2025, and who knows where it will lead me...

I have been learning Korean for about 1.5 years now with Delicious Korean, and I have really enjoyed my learning journey so far. The lessons are clear, well-structured, and easy to follow, which makes learning enjoyable even as a long-term beginner.
One important thing about Delicious Korean is that you start speaking Korean from day one without spending too much time only on grammar at the beginning. Although grammar points are still covered in every lesson as we progress, the focus on speaking early really helps build confidence and practical communication skills.
Another thing I really appreciate is my coach’s teaching style. The repetitive approach used in lessons really helps me understand and remember the language better. It gives me more confidence because I can review and practice the same expressions until I fully understand them.
I also really appreciate that I get the opportunity to connect with other learners from different countries. It is nice to make new friends and take part in group chats where we can share our learning experiences and support each other.
I also really value the 24-hour support that is always available. Whenever I have a question, I receive quick and helpful responses, which makes learning much easier and more comfortable. The team always replies fast and supports me whenever I need help.
Over this time, I have noticed a noticeable improvement in my Korean skills, especially in vocabulary, grammar, listening, and sentence building. I now feel more confident when reading Korean and easily understand short conversations.
The support and encouragement from the Delicious Korean team make a big difference in my learning experience. It keeps me motivated and consistent in my studies. I am really grateful for everything I have learned so far and I look forward to continuing my Korean journey with Delicious Korean.

I’ve been with Delicious Korean (DK) from the early stages of their program. I wanted to learn Korean but didn’t know where to start. I wanted many teachers and felt this program was a good match because it started off with basic words and phrases which allowed me to start speaking Korean aloud (not in my head which was still incorrect). Four points that make this program one you must try.

First - the program includes a video library the DK team works to update and expand. The videos are engaging and easy to follow with real people not AI. You have access to the entire video library up to the point you are a current participant. So I can go back and watch prior videos as often as I want. The videos can be done once a day on 15-20 minutes which makes it easy to fit into a busy schedule. Then a review of the videos for an applicable lesson can be done before I meet with my coach.

Second, the DK team has great customer service! They are responsive to emails with reminders for upcoming coaching sessions, renewal notices and updates in the community created in the Kajabi app. Rescheduling a 1:1 session is super easy and the team and coaches work with you to find your best possible next session.

Third, the thriving community of fellow Korean learners in Kajabi where the DK team and coaches all participate with questions, program updates, personal life updates, Korean language challenges, etc.! You can get to know people from around the world.

Finally, the great coaches who you actually speak Korean with during your weekly calls are the icing on the DK cake to me. My native Korean coach, Hyeonji (현지), is amazing. She is a great communicator, patient, and a wonderful cheerleader! She shares how the words and situations happen in real life in Korea when I’m having trouble understanding. She encourages me to study and practice talking Korean regularly.

I may not be super fluent but I am way ahead from where I started in speaking than trying to do learn Korean by myself.

I recommend you try it because of the relatable program content, high quality customer service, welcoming and thriving community and the great coaches who want to see you reach your Korean learning goals.

I have been a student of Delicious Korean since their formation. Before learning with them, I'd tried two other Korean teaching services and felt in comparison, Delicious Korean provides a holistic and practical view to learning Korean for a busy adult and mom like myself. Testing and grades be gone. :)

My purpose for learning Korean is for interaction and being able to read signs and get around Korea with ease. I like the how the courses are structured and the emphasis of learning like a "baby" with the use of vocabulary that we had learned before and building on those foundation blocks have helped significantly in my learning skills. I'd admit being past the schooling age, and working, I needed a set of lessons which allows me breathing room to learn and also consistently reminding/revising what I'd forgotten.

I highly recommend Delicious Korean for the busy person and lessons aside, the DK team are so wonderful, helpful and intelligent people whose passion fo their teaching and promoting the culture of Korea have become great friends and not just teachers.
