Bad service and bad delivery for removing. Would recommend and they not work good.

Decent Removal & Storage handled my move professionally from start to finish. They were punctual, careful with my belongings, and made the entire process stress free.

Absolutely confusing sales person. Mis-quoted multiple times and at the end blamed me for misunderstanding. Agreed to everything I requested and when it was close to the moving date increased the price and suggested a reasoning that was never on the table.

I would rather do it myself then go for this company.

Edwina was brilliant with the pre-move arrangements and gave me confidence to go with what seemed like a great value removal company. However when it came to the actual move, it couldn't really have been any worse. It felt like this was their first ever move and didn't know how to pack things. Things were just chucked in boxes - including sharp knives - without being wrapped, packed or protected, and without any care. Where I left boxes out for things (kettle) etc - they packed the kettle, and then the empty box!
Lots of my things were damaged and broken. Some things were smashed in boxes as they had not been wrapped or protected. Where I would have expected lots of bubblewrap, things were just put in together or loosely put in with sheets of paper, and not even that in most cases. Bottles of drink and aftershave were packed lying down and not protected and smashed and leaked over other things. A computer monitor was packed with a metal tray against the screen - scratching it. Furniture was damaged and scratched. One bookcase was totally smashed and they didn't even have the courtesy to tell me - they just tried to screw it back together and presumably hope I didn't notice. Some items were not even packed and got muddy on the van/warehouse floor.
When they came to deliver to my new house, they only arrived with 2 out of 3 vans. They left one behind in storage and didn't even tell me it wasn't coming. They just assumed they could bring it the next day (I wasn't going to be there).
Damage was done to my new house - several scratches on the wall - and a huge chunk out of the skirting board and wall in one room.
I estimated the total damage to be over £600. Immediately after the move (while I was still unpacking) - Edwina repeatedly chased me for payment - even though I said I was checking for further damages. Given the damages I offered to pay the balance minus an amount to compensate for the damage, which I did pay, but I did not even receive an acknowledgement or any sort of apology from Edwina.
If you want a very cheap service and don't have anything valuable or good quality that you don't mind being damaged, or you are packing all of your own things, then I would not recommend "Decent" as they certainly weren't for me...

Aman and his team looked after our move with meticulous care and detail. We had collections from 4 different locations in the south east - all items were collected in time and delivered securely.

Aman runs his team in a professional manner, they work exceptionally hard and they are very careful. We felt they were excellent.

I would happily recommend this company for any move large or small.

Edwina and the team at Decent just relocated us from Hampshire England to Enniskillen Northen Ireland and their service has been exceptional.
From first contact all the way through to placing the last box in our new home.
They pre delivered packing material as requested, arrived on time on moving day in two smaller trucks to ensure they could get down the single track road we were moving from and then also up the single track road we were moving to!.
Their team worked hard, safe and with exceptional efficiency.
No damage at all to any items or either property as they moved big items out and then in.

Worst ever experience with Decent Removals today. I had booked the van and man a week ago, adjusted time in the evening for drivers availability. When called at 5 he mentioned could come at 6:30 as he was on another assignment. We called back at 7 and ge said its still gonna take an hour. That means at 8 pm he could come to move house (freezing cold weather). When challenged ge refused to do the job and left us with all things packed and ready for move. Didnt pick up the call when called back. So unprofessional behaviour. Wont recommend anymore at all.

They were very thoughtful with floors and carpet as they moved things in and out. They finished their tasks efficiently and quickly. I would definitely recommend their services to all!

The crew worked very hard. They took no shortcuts and were friendly and knowledgeable. Now I would rate them five stars. I would recommend their service to anyone.

On the moving day the team did a great job of packing the items which was also a very good service
They had our stuff loaded and unload in less half day I cannot say how thankful we are for their contribution to the smooth finale to our complicated move.

The drivers were all great and expert. I am very impressed. Additionally, they did a perfect relocation job. I am satisfied with their services.

Arranged to have this company move us from Hampshire to Wales in February 2023..lady came out to house, did a video of what was staying and going, and told us the price would be £1100 that includes dismantling and re erecting beds etc..as we were boxing EVERY THING to save time n £... sounded really positive, left deposit, balance on completion.
2 X 3½tne Luton's turned up, 3 men emptied house, set off to Wales, when we arrived the guy who was moving out was still there as his van company had let him down, Our new front room was chocka with his furniture, so consequently the boxes that were labelled up for specific rooms, were just put anywhere, and stacked on top of delicate items, to make matters worse, the guy had press ganged our van to take his stuff 4hrs away in Yorkshire, so the guys were rushing around throwing our furniture out to get his in van, none of our furniture had been covered or protected ie blankets..etc
And none of the beds were erected, left bits in different rooms, for me to do ! ..I was demanded to pay balance and when they eventually left we started to find damaged items, this list was emailed to lady (the one who came to house originally) after several times of asking what they were going to do about damaged items as we were covered by there insurance, there reply was, well we should have been charged another £200 for extra items..!!!!!so they weren't doing anything...

DO NOT USE...We've lost about £1000 in damage that we've had to throw out due to there lack of responsibility.
It wouldn't allow me to put photos on here of All damage to show other people that WILL GET RIPPED OFF IF THEY USE THIS DIRE SO CALLED COMPANY

If I could give 0 star I would. Awful service, awful communication. Team did not take care of our possessions, van with all our possessions in went AWOL for 5 hours!! Service was meant to be dissemble and assemble but they wouldn't do it. DO NOT USE THESE COWBOYS! They are now avoiding my calls and emails to resolve!!

We used decent for a office move in December.Ali and his team was extremely helpful.they come on time they were so quick they made the whole experience really smooth and not streseeful at all
