A genuine breath of fresh air working with Ivo and his team. I have worked on automation projects but have always found the disconnect between Tech & Trading difficult to overcome, not this time, Ivo was able to seamlessly automate my strategy after one discussion. I can't recommend Ivo and Dara Trade highly enough, if you are looking to make the move to automate your trading strategy Ivo is the guy to get in touch with...absolutely first class service!

The functionality and AI of Dara is second to none, so clear and easy to use which also makes it easily accessible for the end user.

Ivo is fantastic and always on hand to help with any questions no matter how big or small.

It's a five star for me!

After using this system for 1 year I am disappointed. I am disappointed because my expectations were set very high by the backtesting results. The actual live trades will loose money over time unless taken with discretion. Example: Taking all trades from March 2021 the live results are -4.08% while the backtester shows +23.23%. Dont trust these backtester numbers.

There is no discretionary training on this system at all. The leader Ivo has not made an equity high for nearly a year on the system.. clearly you cant make a living on this one strategy alone.

Let me go into the backtesting... The backtester on this app is garbage. It is advertised as 'trades that were actually taken' because you can look at all the trades, click on them, and see the trade in the chart. NO. These are the curve fitted results! Every year or half a year or so the algo changes and updates with these amazing results.

Contacting the dara support team about this they will always say: 'backtesting is simulated and does not mean live signals will be the same'.. Sad. When I test a robot in MT4 nearly 100% of those trades will be taken live..not the case with dara. What is the point of this backtester then?

There are also issues with trade signals sent at 5PM EST when the spreads are large. The risk reward is off as is the expectancy tied to the trade. Again contacting the team they are not willing to fix this, they just say 'the expectancy and risk to reward are calculated from market price, there is nothing we can do because the spread is so large'.

I recommend following Andrew Mitchem directly. Ultimately he will teach you the strategy and he has more steady trading results. If you do want to try dara I recommend using the app for 1 month and see what you think.

Im giving it a 2/5 since Ivo has made good money in the past with the strategy, but the strategy has been stagnating for 9 months.. so how good is it really? Especially since if you were to take all the signals yourself you would be loosing money.

My recommendation to the dara team: either delete the backtester or show us the trades that would have been actually executed instead of curve fitting the results based on the data on hand today. It will give people much more realistic expectations. My expectations were so high that now this bad review is warranted. With a robot on MT4 at least I can know how bad the drawdown really is, how stagnant it really is and what kind of return I can truly expect. This curve fitted backtest on dara is complete trash.

This company deserves 5 Stars all the way.

I have been trading since 2009, having read 30 or more books and completed various trading courses. I have done what all traders have done, trying to beat what seemed so simple.
The book by Mark Douglas, called Trading in the Zone, covers the aspects of what makes a profitable trader, this is also what Ivo and his DARA course teaches. The difference is that Ivo has the DARA trading platform that ensures we can trade in the zone ourselves.
I have studied, read, tested and fallen at many hurdles over the years, but what makes a successful trader is simply having an edge that you believe in and can take the emotional aspects out.
Having been with Ivo since 2017, I have seen and been a part of what has been an amazing and I am sure challenging journey for Ivo. The latest app that Ivo has released and the group of us that has tested and fed back improvements has been immense. Ivo believes in and follows what Mark Douglas preaches, this I also follow and not only am I profitable in my manual trading over the last 10 months, I am profitable with the DARA app, many more times so as well.
Back testing has been a challenge over the years, getting the tick data, trying to have it as clean as possible, running the back test, over many hours, against a single currency pair or index, was a frustrating and time consuming activity. Ivo has used the power of Artificial Intelligence (AI), through the benefits of machine learning to apply the power of computational speed, but applied this to technical patterns that we know work and has an edge. This gives the ability to the trader, to review the suggested trades and decide if the expectancy, R/R, win rate and confidence is of a sufficient level, to continue our edge and let the trade play out, but with an attitude of it does not matter if 'one' trade wins or loses, it is the overall percentage of what our win rate is against the R/R value that gives us the winning edge.
I still trade manually on one account, but am also trading a DARA account, that links to my MT4 platform. I can monitor and check both accounts and I am relaxed and in a place that I never thought I would be. I simply see each trade as being unconnected, with the confidence that my edge will play out and over enough samples of trades, be profitable.
I realised after a few years that there really is no Holy Grail, it was simply a figment of the imagination. My advice would be to educate yourself on what the market really is (random events that have similar patterns, but are not really connected), then apply an edge (everything works, but nothing works), so sticking with an approach like DARA, having faith and not being over invested in any single trade will bring you the success that you seek.
My path to this has been somewhat like most peoples I imagine. I still find the charts fascinating, just like I did when I first was introduce to them, the difference now is that what was time consuming, painful and frustrating, especially back testing (DARA really has this nailed and I can achieve in a few hours of back testing, what would have taken me weeks in the past, and then still not have the well-presented information to assess the findings) is not frustrating anymore.
DARA and Ivo have been a breath of fresh air, Ivo still stays grounded and responds to questions in our messaging group, as well as taking on board working on the feature improvements that we suggest and his developers implement.
I was part of Ivo's Turtle Trader Group in 2018, I actively use DARA and I am a better trader, better person and have more time to give back to my family than ever before. Trading was initially a way to become wealthy, I realise now that trading has actually made me a better person, with the ability to be wealthy, and without the stress and fear I had as an immature trader.

Ivo and the team are amazing. Great people and excellent trading results. Highly recommend!

Some amazing work Ivo has put in to automate the signals, highly recommend their bots, I have used all of them at different times and found it to be profitable in the long run.

A great venture for all traders who like Expert Advisors and manual trading as well, because DARA Trade does both ! A very original idea (maybe the first of it's kind ?), promising great things for the future. The webinars and course notes are fun and easy to follow - so glad I decided to join ! My trading is also much more profitable now.

Ivo and Greg are very experienced and nice traders. The DARA systems being developed has high potential and looks like it will really help streamline my trading and helps me follow the rules with the right RR. DARA Trade is an excellent initiative that combines automated trading strategies with mobile technology to allow you to review and decide whether to take a trade set-up or not from anywhere. This is very helpful if you are not in the office or near your computer. The introductory course provides a very good overview of trading concepts and the mechanisms of each strategy. The use of DARA helps you become more consistent as a trader - I would recommend this to anyone who is serious about becoming consistent and profitable as a trader. Ivo and his team are very helpful with many short video's to provide assistance including daily trade examples.

I really like the idea of having a Algo trading partner and I do believe Algo trading is the future of trading. When I saw that DARA is opening up a Algo Turtle program, I immediately jumped in to it. DARA strategy is simple but the most important of all is, it works! DARA helps traders to keep the discipline and money management fairly easy. If you are looking to learn how to trade and grow your account over time, DARA is the place.

Excellent. Currently, It's early days for this product. There are a few minor issues that keep popping up, however they are generally rectified in a timely manner. Always willing to innovate and receive feedback for improvement.
Since starting in November I've been getting positive results. The DARA staff do disclose their live trades for everyone to see and follow. In saying that, they encourage students to be independent and work through their own process.
Overall the education package and program are easy to follow. I will Provide ongoing reviews in 6 months and 12 months from now and provide updates of my results.

I have been trading Forex, Futures and Options for well over 10 years now and have invested a decent amount of money on Trading education, various strategies and software packages. Then DARA came along and I immediately liked the simplicity and its ease of use. The trading webinars filled in some of my "knowledge gaps" and helped me to get rid of some "false ideas/data". The DARA strategy is very simple to understand and it turns out to be profitable for me from its very first month. I am a happy camper.

I've been trading for three years, with mixed success over that time. I was finding it difficult to produce consistent results.
I was introduced to DARA about 10 months ago and tested for a few months, prior to attending the 8 week training course starting in November 2018. I've found that my trading discipline is much, much better and I no longer spend most of my day watching charts! I now trust the results will come.
The interaction with other DARA traders helps to validate trades and I no longer feel that I'm working alone in the trading world.
DARA is a great concept and on completing the training, I'm really excited about the upcoming trading year where I will be trading live with DARA.
