it scammed me and never gave me resultes!

This company is scam, 2 years and no result

I purchased a Kit, that unfortunately was lost while moving to another address.
I contacted Dante Labs to ask - if i have to buy another complete testing package, or i can gave only the testkit - since noone has used my sample ID.

I am still waiting for an answer...

I have sent many emails to Dante Labs complaining about their service and data breach, Iain Patrick repeatedly fails to respond.

22 months - still nothing, still waiting for results or my money back. Dante are a con and they will steal your money and lie to your face.

Pathetic automated responses from customers service who does nothing to address the situation.

They are liars, thieves and cheats. They take your money and then run and hide away. Don't be conned by these scammers.

Stolen my money and gone silent for 18 months. Why are they allowed to still operate?

Je tiens à partager mon expérience extrêmement décevante avec Dante Labs. Après avoir longtemps hésité à faire séquencer mon génome, j'ai finalement décidé de commander deux kits en décembre 2022. Voici un résumé des problèmes rencontrés :

Temps d'attente inacceptable : Le premier kit a pris six mois pour me donner des résultats. C'est déjà bien au-delà des délais raisonnables pour ce type de service.

Absence totale de résultats pour le second kit : À l'heure où j'écris ce commentaire, en juin 2024, je n'ai toujours pas reçu les résultats pour le second kit. Le site indique que le test est en cours de séquençage depuis un an et cinq mois, ce qui me fait sérieusement douter de la viabilité de l'échantillon à ce stade.

Service client inexistant : Après plusieurs relances par e-mail et une demande de remboursement, je n'ai reçu aucune réponse. Le silence radio total est inadmissible pour une entreprise qui se veut sérieuse.

Fiabilité des résultats douteuse : Vu l'inefficacité et le manque de communication de Dante Labs, je doute même de la véracité des résultats que j'ai reçus pour le premier kit.

En conclusion, je ne recommande absolument pas Dante Labs. Leur service est médiocre, les délais sont excessivement longs et le service client est inexistant. Il est crucial de trouver une entreprise plus fiable et professionnelle pour des services aussi sensibles et importants que le séquençage génomique.

Scam guys please stay away from them. Paid almost €500 euros in 2023 and still waiting the results.

We appreciate that you would like a more exact timeframe, but this is proving difficult for our lab too.

There are some additional difficulties that are slowing down the process, and we don't know exactly when these challenges may be overcome.

Your sample was sequenced to a sixth of the gigabases needed approximately. Also, samples sometimes yield more in one run than the other, so making a prediction is complicated.

I am really sorry for not giving you better information.

We're sorry that the expected timeline was not complied with.

We try to give an estimation that is as accurate as possible, but some samples may require longer times.

​Please know that the samples do not sequence continuously, and are instead inserted into multiple runs over time, this is why the sequencing phase can take several weeks. Right now your sample is waiting to enter into another run. Your sample has currently reached 17 out of the 90 required gigabases, so it will still need some time.

Like others I have been waiting a very long time (almost a year). I now consider this company a scam. When I have got a reply to emails it's always "lots of tests have created a backlog". So stop sending out promotional offer emails then! Avoid.

I have been waiting 8 months to receive my genome, since sending teh sample, 9 since paying. I was fobbed off about 6 months ago as teh sample had "passed QC".
The company is not responding to requests for updates, refused to refund the payment and does not publish a phone number.

I am writing to express my deep concern regarding the delay in receiving my test results. It has been 15 months since I submitted my sample, and I have yet to receive the results.

I urgently request that you update me immediately on the exact date on which the sequencing will happen, and I expect you to prioritize my sample above all other samples given the extended waiting period that I have already experienced.

The delay in receiving my test results is causing me significant inconvenience and is posing a serious risk to my health and well-being. I underwent this test for crucial medical reasons, and the prolonged wait is preventing me from accessing essential information about my health. I cannot overstate the urgency of this matter, and I expect your prompt and professional assistance in resolving it.

Please understand that any further delay could potentially lead to adverse health outcomes for me. I am counting on you to prioritize this issue and provide me with an immediate update on the status of my test results.

If the delay in receiving my test results results in any negative consequences for my health that could have been prevented with timely detection, I will have no choice but to pursue legal action against Dante Labs.

Regarding the deactivation of me password from your side, I urge you to provide me with a new link to generate a new password immediately. It is unacceptable that I cannot access my account anymore.

I expect to hear back from you within the next few days.

I purchased a test in January 2023 and despite regular chasing still have not received a report, any idea of expected timescales or a refund. They reply with generic emails apologising with offers of 'free reports' that will never come.

If you are keen to dispose of unwanted money or enjoy reading pointless robotic emails then I recommend you use this service. If you have any interest in having any actual report on your dna then I'd suggest using another service.

This company is a scam - some 14 months after paying, STILL no results.

I've posted about this before - this is my last post as I'm now taking legal action.

follow-up: having still not heard anything, the legal advice is to give the company a little longer to respond with a full and transparent explanation. Thereafter, it is suggested that I sue Dante Labs for (a) the cost of the test and (b) emotional distress - unfortunately, the latter may prove difficult.

The same problem over and over again. Waiting for the results, they used to reply, and then they stopped. I am ready to pay more money to sue them than to receive my results. The company needs a collective lawsuit from all the people who have been scammed

Hello, further to my previous emails and now having read the awful reviews of your company, my sample has still not progressed past being received in the last 2 months and I have lost all confidence that I will receive my results and in your company and can't trust I'd receive the correct results if/when you decide to process them.

Therefore (much as I'd like the actual results) I am hereby requesting a FULL refund.

Total scam, 13 months later and still haven't heard back from them. They still have the cheek to come up with offers to attract new customers all the time. Stay away!

It’s a year now, nothing, no results. Really shocking behaviour and they should be sued. Please warn others not to use. I wouldn’t trust the results from these people anyway.

So sorry for all the people that have been lied to and promised information on their health. Shame on you Dante labs.
