Awful customer service
Awful customer service. We wanted to return our armchair, we had to pay hundreds for our own courier and then daals deducted 10% from our refund amount because the cardboard box that the chair came in had been opened and resealed. If you want to return any item - don’t open the box and be prepared to pay a fortune for your own courier!
Terrible building instructions. Poor quality product.
The building of the product was the most complicated flat pack experience of my life. Not because I am incapable of building, but due to the very basic instructions which lack specification of simple things, making it harder and lots of guesswork. The cabinet is slightly misaligned too with no reason for it to be (the draws dont fully close unless the cupboard door is open). It looks nice overall, but definitely not worth the cost. Wouldn't buy from Daals again.

I wish I could give this bunch of rogues a 0! Appalling returns policy! Furniture was damaged (chair was all marked). They ‘will’ allow that to be returned but have to wait over 10 days to return it. However, I have to pay for the matching sofa to be returned as they said because it isn’t damaged (the seam on it is) we have to pay hundreds to send it back. Please don’t order from this company!! I will be reporting them to Trading Standards! Absolutely, disgusted!

Be advised that the company deletes negative reviews on their website for the products. I was a verified purchaser and wrote an honest and fair review, explaining that my furniture arrived damaged, discolored, and stained, and the review magically disappeared by the next day. Be careful! I also like many others wish I did more research. I had to hire someone to repaint and refinish the wood.
Awful delivery experience
The most awful delivery experience, possibly the worst of any D2C brand I've dealt with in the UK. No flexibility/visibility on dates despite delivering such a large product. Upon delivery, two gentleman would not help carrying it for my better half. CX team apologetically helpless in all of it. I sincerely hope the bed is good but I wouldn't bother purchasing through Daals again. Save yourself the stress.
Very bad management of returns
Very bad management of returns. They refund you after a month for unopened items. Some are good quality products some very bad quality.
Cheap and damaged
Stay away! Cheaply made garbage that came damaged. They refused to replace! They made me take a video of myself trying to fix the tear in the product and then spent a week nickel and dimming me without any real solution. Stay away!!

Rubbish, Rubbish, Rubbish. Stay away as far as you can. Can't believe this cowboys can still trade in all punity. They advertised luxury furniture on their website and they send cheap Rubbish chinese knockouts. If you wanna return, you need to demonstrate that the product is damaged by uploading videos of you brushing the chair (in my case) like an idiot to show them that the damage is still there after brushing. Customer service unbelievably low standard. Stay away, please.

Where do I start , first time customer . Placed an order ,Monday night a parcel was left outside my door at 9.45pm , got the parcel inside my house to find that the order had two chairs missing and also NOT what I had ordered ! (Company sent me wrong items). I contacted the company along with pictures and was told that they would arrange a collection ( telling me it would take 10days to arrange )!
The following day I received another order that was also wrong and the two chair legs were handing out the packing and was all damaged ! Once again contacted this company explained the whole situation over and over before someone understood me!
I was then told that they would arrange collection ( yet another 10day wait for collection)!
Yesterday I then received an email from courier company to say Daals have sent a parcel to be delivered to me ?!!! So once again contacted the company !! What an utter mess, I am still awaiting communication, Collection for TWO wrong and damaged orders & my FULL REFUND !
I will be contacted Trading Standards & Ombudsman department .
I am getting messed about by this company & they also have my money !!
18th July STILL NO Refund me today you have had more than ample time now and you still continue to mess me about !

Dreadful customer service.
I spent weeks and weeks trying to get a product returned after it arrived a completely different colour to what was advertised.
I tried for weeks to get them to collect the items and told them I was prepared to swap with another colour - but they would not help.
As per many other negative reviews on here, I have found there customer service to be awful, very unhelpful and rude.
I was forced to arrange and pay for the return postage on the items, despite them not being what I ordered.
I will never use them again and I suggest anyone else thinking of buying from them to review the huge amount of negative reviews on here, most of which relate to the same topics I have mentioned above.
Useless and incompetent
Useless and incompetent, telling me my replacement chair has been deliver even though my doorcam shows DHL come to my door and then put parcel back on van. There is a faulty chair also to be collected.

Terrible service!!! Delivery was a real disaster. When ordering the sofa online, a delivery date was confirmed (which was partially the reason for me to buy), but products dis not arrive. Made numerous phone calls to their service line, which is totally useless. When finally delivered, the delivery guy refused to bring the packages to the apartment. Just left it at the front door. Super unfriendly and incompetent service all around. I would never buy from daals again.

Really poor delivery service
Waited over 4 weeks for delivery I was then provided a slot for the next day with less that 24hrs notice and a potential 9hr window. I rang the company to explain and ask for a delayed delivery on a confirmed week day. They do not have the capability to do this. Very poor delivery service with zero flexibility!
Horrendous experience - immoral scam artists of a company!
Absolutely no regard or care for their customers clearly do not care about creating a loyal customer base had the very worst experience with Daals who refused to do absolutely anything reasonable to resolve our situation.
Ordered a sofa as well as multiple other pieces of furniture from them so spent well over £1000 overall anyway the sofa was faulty with a broken back leg within a couple of months with very minimal use, I informed them and explained how we have been renovating our house for a year and we are booking it out on air b&b over summer to claw some money back our first booking is in 10 days time and the sofa is faulty and quite frankly poor quality as well. They admitted it was faulty and should be replaced under warranty asked us to dismantle and package the sofa up ourselves and only then would they arrange for collection, how on earth are you supposed to package up a sofa? This is not a small item we are talking about! I explained that we can’t package the sofa with no packaging they would have to send us some and that we would also urgently need a replacement posted out otherwise our house will have no sofa for customers who have already booked and paid for their stays on air b&b and we could not afford to wait for the faulty sofa to be collected and then a new one sent out once returned I offered to purchase a more expensive and what looked like a sturdier model and pay the difference if they would credit me the cost of the faulty sofa and collect it, they refused. I then said if you can’t replace it within the time frame we need it to just collect the sofa and refund us the money and we will purchase elsewhere they also refused this and said they will not give us a refund. When I asked to speak to management or have an email to management or anybody higher up within the company they wouldn’t supply it.
We are now in a position where we have purchased a faulty sofa and will have to buy a whole new one again in order to for-fill our bookings on time so we have lost hundreds of pounds and a load of time and agro, honestly don’t know how a company can operate like this, they seem like complete crooks and scam artists who treat their customers like enemy’s and once they have their money could not care less if they have provided them with faulty products and wasted their time and money. Will never shop from them again and would recommend others to think twice before they ever order from such an immoral company with 0 regard for their customers! Absolute crooks!
Terrible Customer Service and Faulty Product
I ordered the Oakley Dark Grey Velvet Upholstered 3 Seater Dining Bench from Daals, expecting a smooth transaction and a high-quality product. Unfortunately, my experience has been extremely disappointing.
Firstly, the bench delivered was dark brown, not dark grey as advertised on their website. Despite providing clear photographic evidence showing that the bench is brown, Daals denied this fact and insisted they do not sell a brown bench, completely disregarding my complaint.
Secondly, the bench had a noticeable mark on the velvet upholstery that would not go away, even after following their suggested cleaning methods. This defect clearly shows the product is not of satisfactory quality as required under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
When I requested a refund and the collection of the faulty bench, Daals' customer service demanded that I repackage the item myself. Having told them that I threw away the packaging, they demanded that I use my own bin bags and tape, which is not only unreasonable but also unprofessional considering they delivered a faulty product. After I complied, and chased them for a response, they informed me that the collection could take up to 10 days, which is unacceptable as I am traveling abroad soon and cannot accommodate this delay.
Their representative, Dimple, also stated that I would be liable for any failed collection costs if I was not available at the short notice they would provide. This lack of flexibility and understanding, given the circumstances, is appalling.
Overall, Daals has provided a terrible customer service experience from start to finish. They failed to deliver the correct product, refused to acknowledge their mistake, and imposed unreasonable demands on me for the return process. I strongly advise against purchasing from Daals based on my experience.

Ordered & received 2 broken mirrors
Ordered & received 2 broken mirrors - 1st one was no issue in getting exchanged but 2nd one arrived & I still have the broken mirror ! Initially asked for another exchange but they’ve taken so long I’ve asked for a refund but STILL no further forward - selling damaged goods & not refunding is not acceptable, I’ve ordered form Daals many times before with no issues but I won’t be ordering from them again - untrustworthy.
Crooks who obstruct customers exercising their legal rights
Every aspect of my experience with Daals has been incredibly stressful:
Delivery: Daals claim to give you 24 hours notice of delivery. What they actually do is send you a text in the middle of the day before they are planning to send you your order giving you 1.5 hours to cancel in the middle of the working day and threaten you with charging for delivery if you're not in. I called them as soon as I was able to within the working day - an hour and 20 minutes after they text - as I had a long-standing hospital appointment and wouldn't be in. They said it was too late (they'd given me less that two hours to reschedule ) and that I would be charged if I wasn't in. We ended up having to have family members rearrange their plans to sit in our house to accept delivery so we could attend our hospital appointment because of how unreasonably inflexible Daals were.
Returns: We ordered what we thought was some new dark wood furniture for our living room - when it arrived and we opened the box, it was cheap MDF wood with a dark wood plastic lacquer that was scratched and poorly glued together. We requested a refund on the basis that the items were defective. What ensued was a week of backwarding and forwarding from an array of different customer service representatives, none of whom would confirm that we could return the defective goods or would book a collection for us. We called repeatedly and not a single person would give us a straightforward answer about their returns process. At least five different customer representatives asked me to send photos, which I did, and then claimed they couldn't view them when, in their reply to me, forwarded back to me all the photos that I'd sent them in my previous email which they claimed they couldn't see! I had another Daals' employee email me with a product spec and asked me to unpack all the boxes again and specify - using their coding system - exactly which parts of each product were defective, in spite of another Daals' employee (eventually) confirming that the photos I'd sent were sufficient.
It took a whole week for someone to confirm that our defective items would be collected and gave us a ten day window for collection - which they failed to meet. Three weeks later and we are still awaiting collection - we have emailed and called Daals almost daily requesting our money back and at every turn their responses have been deliberately obstructive and intentionally designed to prevent us exercising our legal rights to return faulty goods. Today, my husband asked to speak to a manager and requested a copy of the recording of the call - the Daals' adviser put him on hold for 35 minutes before coming back on to say that there was no manager he could talk to. When my husband said that he was happy to wait, the Daals' representative said that she was terminating the call and hung up on him!!
I honestly cannot stress enough that you should NEVER order from these crooks. Their products are low quality and their customer service is corrupt and unlawful. Their behaviour has caused us a month of totally unnecessary stress and we are still no closer in getting our £500 back from them, in spite of our best efforts and willingness to return the goods to them.
They also seem to be operating illegally on Trustpilot as they are currently trading under daals.co.uk and daals.com - please do yourself a favour and read the customer experiences on the daals.com Trustpilot profile from UK customers, you will see a pattern of treatment of customers that reads exactly like what I've described above.
Their Glassdoor reviews from their own employees state that they 'treat the customer like the enemy' - this is very much my experience of dealing with this company.
I really hope this review spares someone else having to go through what we have experienced.
