Buying from Croudace has been a nightmare. They installed our solar panel halfway on the neighbour’s roof and denied anything was wrong — until we pushed for months and they finally admitted and fixed it.

Since then, we’ve found serious structural problems that clearly don’t meet NHBC standards or basic building regulations, and once again, they refused to take responsibility and eventually offering a bodge job. Their approach seems to be deny, delay, and hope you give up.
The build quality is poor, and Croudace will do everything they can to avoid fixing properly fixing serious problems. Would never buy from them again.

Serious Structural Issues and Dishonest Communication

We’ve had a terrible experience with Croudace Homes. Structural problems were identified within the first 2 years and confirmed by independent experts. Croudace had tried to cover up and despite the evidence, they stopped responding and refused to agree to appropriate remedial works.

Their customer service and senior management was slow, evasive, and often dishonest. We were constantly given false reassurances, with delays at every step until they completely stopped responding.

Croudace sent Alin to do some paint work. Alin was very professional and helpful and actually did some extra bits that we needed fixing, like cracked staircase, damaged corners on some of the walls. Very pleased with his service

We recently bought a New Home on their Wisteria Gate Development. A number of snags items were raised. Not only did Croudace listen, but their whole Customer Service Team from Office to operatives who attended site to review, agreed plan and actually get work carried out satisfactorily. Very big thank you to Alin who has been undertaking works with a smile. Also thanks to Shrina in the office for coordinating.

Croudace are an extremely reputable and highly regarded professional company. Consistent Quality is their strength.

Great presentation by a very constructive and organised team at Croudace. Great to see the new faces and new ambitions along with the people we already know and have done some great work with. Simon and Dan have been a pleasure to work alongside, and I’m looking forward to future opportunities with the new team also!

Fantastic company, friendly and welcoming. Find their attention to detail is second to none and have a real edge to other house builders when it comes to quality. 10/10 simon and Dan from construction side are who we delt with and are true professionals in every sense a credit to the company. Very informative and welcoming presentation

Another visit from the customer care team, Gary & Kevin (aka the chuckle brothers) to resolve some minor snags and issues (squeaky floor and unbalanced washing machine).

Arrived on time, knew what the issues where without me having to reexplain and got straight to it.

They are always great and so respectful of our home, other family members and dog. They never leave a mess behind and always do an amazing job and ensure we are happy. They even managed to not wake a 8 week old newborn whilst cutting up the floor on this visit, simply incredible.

Gary & Kevin are a credit to Croudace and have been a standout team and make us promote Croudace's quality and customer care to many friends and family.

Andy came to do some aftercare and could not have been nicer, more polite or professional, he was brilliant. Nothing is ever too much trouble for any of the Croudace team.

Thank you Kevin and Gary for promptly fixing snags in our new build. Kevin and Gary are always happy, friendly and efficient and we are always very happy with their work.

Lovely showhome. We've bought a Croudace before and didn't hesitate to come back and see if we could be tempted again.

We were just walking through the hermitage lane estate one Saturday and decided to pop our head into the show home office out of curiosity. We were met with such lovely customer service from Martha, not only because she offered us a cupcake and refreshing drink on a hot day, but also with her warm bubbly character. She made us feel so welcome and explained our options clearly, answered all our questions, and introduced us to Jack who helped us gage what we could afford. Unfortunately we weren’t quite ready to buy, but our viewing of the show home and experience with them both meant we will look at Croudace Homes again when we’re ready.

Very accommodating and helpful staff. The houses are amazingly done at gold standard.

We've been in our home 5 years now, a 3 bed semi-detached in Chineham, Basingstoke. The Croudace team were excellent! Any snags were sorted super quickly and we've not had any issues with the house since. Everything is finished to a really high-quality and the development has been beautifully designed. Couldn't recommend them enough!

Very well would recommend this to anyone

We bought our first house from Croudace in 1998 and it remains one of the best houses we ever purchased. One of our relatives is a Project Manager at a large construction company and I remember him saying how good the quality was when viewing it mid-build. Have always kept an eye on their developments since, and don't rule out buying from them again if they do any new projects around the New Forest. In summary, an excellent and consistent company.

The sales team were fantastic and very supportive throughout the buying process. Since moving in the customer service team have been very responsive and helpful.
