I was unsure who to talk to about my debts. I originally went to a bank to discuss consolidation but they only wanted to profit off of my situation by charging extremely high interest over a short repayment period. Credit Canada (Cathy) answered my call right away, listened compassionately and took detailed notes, then discussed what options I had available. They even talked next steps and put me in touch with a trustee to get more information. No commitment. No fuss. Definitely worth contacting.

He was extremely kind, patient and most importantly understanding towards a very stressful situation I am experiencing with a banking situation and currently a collection agency.He provided excellent references and additional information that was helpful.I never felt rushed with all my questions and I could tell he was very sincere in helping me in any way he could; that I think is the most important thing a person needs to know when they are experiencing such a stressful situation; that they are not alone and have understanding people with resources to help! especially with situations like this which can feel overwhelming!

I didn’t feel judged or looked down on. The process was explained in an easy to understand way. I’m glad this service is available to help when things seem out of control and there’s no end in sight. The hamster wheel of debt is extremely difficult on your mental health. I feel I’m on the right track now, and it’s possible to get things under control.
