I got a collection letter in the mail...

I got a letter in the mail from Credence resource mgt for $300+ for an "old" Xfinity mobile bill that they said I owed from in the past. They claimed they had the right to collect it, but they would give me a $73.00 discount if I paid it quicker than their deadline. I've NEVER had an Xfinity mobile phone or service. I was going to ignore it, but since there was an account number on their 'collection notice', I called Xfinity. It was a long phone call like I expected, but they verified that I did not owe it, nor did I ever have an x-finity mobile phone, or account. It was all pure fiction. None of it existed, but Credence sure made it all look real. "Thank you" to Xfinity for help and clearing it up, and CAUTION to anyone who deals with this kind of scam.

My experience dealing with this company…

My experience dealing with this company has been extremely negative. Representatives contacted me multiple times but were unable to provide clear documentation or sufficient verification to support their claims when requested.

Communication was persistent and one-sided, with little willingness to answer questions or explain the basis for their outreach. Rather than a professional and transparent discussion, the interactions felt unnecessarily pressuring.

Based on my experience, I would advise others to proceed with caution when dealing with this company.

I received a bill from Credence…

I received a bill from Credence collection, not even knowing what this bill was for , in regards to T-Mobile, I still don't know what it was for " charging me a outstanding bill close out " ..
T-Mobile has closed out contact , for discussion on this account " I'm lost for words of how this has come about , When you send a bill , you should be able to discuss the issues of a collection, why , What , its for ..etc ...Before paying for anything " ...its utterly disgusting , how this company and T-Mobile have chosen to do their business, This needs to change " no one deserves this kind of treatment " ...I will not stand for it " its unacceptable " ...The unnecessary stressors this Company and T-Mobile have put upon me and my family " not good " its inexcusable " ...@men...They need to do business in a more professional manner " ..👍👏 ...

Hate the problem, not the messenger people.

I have to say, I'm sure as most people I was pissed off by the time we got off the phone, I didn't make the delinquent account neither did they. But I'll give them a 3 cause they are relentless I give the guy I talked to, a 6+.
He kept his cool it's his job,

Who made the bill in collections?
I'm mad at that person.

Your welcome.

Credence Loves Fraud

Submitted something to my credit report despite AT&T clearing the charge for fraud. Insisted I fill out their fraud packet that they snail-mail to you when AT&T has their own you can submit digitally. Do not deal directly with them, they are out to get your money they do not care about your fraud.

Fix your self before it is too late

This is a collection company, a legit one, but the problem is with professionalism. The Team leads and managers are not trained with people management skills, all they care is collecting. The way they manage is by hire and fire. Also more than 80% people think it is scam when Indians call US citizens. And the ones who pick up regret picking the call because we are trained to just ask for as much as possible to close debts. This company is walking on thin ice with Violating human right in india and US both. Internal politics is a huge issue. Even though I got a good treatment and lot of support i have seen people being targetted by them. Racism and favouritism is a big problem. HR turns blind eye on everything.

Credence Resource Management - An Indian Fraudulent Collection Agency for T-Mobile

I received a phone call from Credence Resource Management. This is a collection agency that is actually situated in India.
The young man that I spoke with was dogmatic only in his questioning. If they call you, they already know your name, address, employer.
What they want initially is your verification of the information that they already have for purpose of selling it on the Dark Web. These are additional personal questions that they will ask you.

What is your address? I answered:
3333 Yellow Brick Road, Oz Missouri 11111

What is your date of birth? I answered:
December 31, 1901

NOW, READY FOR THE CLINCHER?
The debt that they call you about is a debt that was paid. Just look at your bank statements and see if, in fact, the debt has already been debited from your account. Check every monthly statement going back at least one year.
Also, check the debit card that was used during that timeframe. It most likely is a debit card that you have deleted or discontinued.

They pick up this information from one of the major cellphone companies that has been selling this information about you.

How do I know this?
Because the bill they were calling about was one that had been paid in full by T-Mobile using my debit card number without my knowledge or permission.

T-Mobile got their money.

And I get to file a complaint with the FTC about T-Mobile for two reasons.
First, T-Mobile fraudulently sold my information for a debt that they had already collected money from my checking account PLUS they took money from my account for additional charges that were fraudulent.

Both instances were without my permission or knowledge.

And the proof? Why, my bank statement.

I could not have possibly known that T-Mobile had done this.
You see, I was in a medically induced coma at that time. When T-Mobile fraudulently extracted the money from my account for the first charge, I had been in that medically induced coma for 14 days.
When T-Mobile fraudulently extracted money from my account for the second charges, I had been in that medically induced coma for 39 days and would not be brought out of that very same coma for another 17 days.

My proof? My statements from Medicare.

So, That's the fat. That's the skinny.
