Today, once again, I noticed that the prices at Clipstone Co-op do not always match the prices charged at the till. The prices displayed in the shop were lower, but I was charged more on my receipt.

When I pointed this out to the staff member, I was not offered a refund for the difference, and the price was not corrected either. Everything was simply left as it was.

Unfortunately, I really don’t like the attitude towards customers in this shop. It often feels like you are made to feel unwelcome rather than valued as a customer. I try to avoid shopping here whenever I can.

Do not bother to get a delivery here from Uber or Deliveroo. More and more items are out of stock. You are not told they are out of stock, until after packing. Which is no good. I order a lot from here, at least three times a week. This morning, there was no cucumber, avocado, chicken, jacket potatoes, salad, still or sparkling water, big bottles and no small waters. Half my shopping is missing. AGAIN! Considering the instore prices are already inflated at CoOp and it’s only Monday, I would have cancelled the order & got it elsewhere. Half the shopping missing, then you should be contacted. Takes days to refund as well and to get the shopping is missing from another store, so you are charged for delivery twice. This is a very poor service and really takes the mick. I am unable to collect shopping myself as I have a spinal cord injury.

Co op shave ‘gel’ is NOT gel but cheap foam do not tough , cheap but useless

Have tried to make a complaint numurous times now and no one gets back to me. A man was attacked in manchester by people wearing co op uniform and t-shirts that was caught on video. Go to youtube (edge of the matrix) to see. I think this is disgusting behaviour and wanted to make a complaint and know what co op stance on it was as tgey were representing the company but just keep being ignored or fobbed off.
Avoid co op at all costs as they clearly support this by not getting back to me to explain their position.

Probably some of the worst 'SNACK' food I have ever eaten!! Bought a Bacon & Cheese Turnover, a Chicken Slice, and a Steak Slice. To 'snack' on during a recent Carp Fishing day trip in Mid-Devon. By 4pm I had the most awful acid reflux/indigestion. At one point, I thought I was going to throw up?! Never again!!

Absolutley Dreadful waited over 3 hours no delivery rang the store and he was so rude had to ring coop main offices 3 times to chase this up promised a refund nothing
Dont offer a service if you can't do it oy gave one star because I could not leave no stars

Been running around today and when I running I mean walking for over an hour to send a return via Evri.
1st CoOp APU under staffed so no poster office counter service, next CoOp APU Evri label printer not working - it might as well not be there. I don't think ever been to this particular CoOp and it works.
Last part of rant - both my local CoOps have 3-4 self service checkouts but theres always a queue for the counter & most the time a large queue because under staffed.

Co op have introduced a new line ....Chocolate for change.
The Chunky salted caramel & pretzel Chocolate bar. Beware of your teeth!
The salted caramel is like broken stone , suck only and be careful !
Pretzel is round and hard like marble, you can only suck it for ages to soften it. It's like sucking cardboard and when you finally get to the centre it is as tasteless as paper.
Whoever thought this one up needs sacking, it is awful.

Card has never worked , every time I went to the coop it came back as declined , I ended up paying the extra price ..
However , today was the last time ,,, Morrisons or Tesco will get all my business now … co op card is a con , fraudulent reason given for it not working again ,,, ..
Bye bye coop ,,, card now in the bin ..

Senior member of staff appears to be allergic to serving customers. Dismissive and rude.

I ordered from Co op Dulwich SE22 0RR. The staff need to be informed that dairy cupcakes are not a replacement for VEGAN cupcakes. There is a huge difference that they need to be aware of. Also, please don't hang up on people when they are trying to call the store. It is very rude and unprofessional. Will not be ordering from them again. My first and last experience with Dulwich store.

Went to co op for ice cream, there was some in freezers but not much. Bought nuii costing £2.75. before paying checked with staff member if freezer was working and he said it was ok and squeezed the ice cream box and said that was ok. Went straight home and took the ices from the box for the freezer, kept one out and opened it, chocolate coating was intact but the ice cream was totally defrosted and runny. Not the first time from this particular shop.

CO OP Potters Bar Herts, on a Sunday, bought pain killers which i didn't realise need staff sign off for age restrictions. Waiting for 4/5 mins for staff member who served the 3 other people behind me in queue and then was horribly rude. Will not be visiting there again.

co op customer service is useless - It was very hard to understand the lady on the phone because of her accent She inputted my details wrongly several times and I had to take time to spell my name, and the postcode correctly. I tried explaining that the issue was I wanted to register for a new card and was unable to as there was an existing account from many years previously - details of that would have been a completely different address and I no longer had access to the account number or card. She kept me on the phone for quite some time- clearly not able to understand or deal with the situation. She told me I would have to buy a new card in store (happy to do that but still would probably have the same problem trying to register!) I am a very patient person but my goodness I needed a strong coffee after this exchange and no interest in keeping shopping at coop!

Southwater Co-op is useless. Half of the shelves are empty, you have to go hunting for plastic bags at the self checkout, baskets are rarely collected to put back at the door, you stand for ages waiting for the only staff member to approve your purchase on the self checkout or resolve any problems.

Please don’t shop at the co op! My son is high intelligence (0.01% in country) and can’t get a job! Always fobbed off that someone has scored higher even after interview. It’s completely down to the manager wanting someone she knows. It’s disgusting! I worked at Harrods’ and John Lewis for years because it was fair. Please don’t support them

I just had a very bad experience with co op delivery driver that I had to call police. Did u know ceo of co op has no contact details and head office number on website doesn’t work or ring.
The driver delivered to my front door in his helmet and bandana and initially I was scared to open door. I am 70 disabled and shaking all the time,
I gave him date of birth and was closing my door and then he had his foot against the door and he wouldn’t let me close it so I screamed and my son came down and pushed him away from the door. In that time I had a panic attack and had to take meds. He stayed outside for 15 minutes on his electric bike. I called the police. He then came to the door and was kicking the door and this time with bandana down and my son came downstairs again and went towards him and he drove off. This has been reported to p9lice and my son was on the phone to co op and told them and they said they would send email with reference number of this incident and received nothing, DO NOT SHOP WITH COOP FOR HOME DELIVERIES?

The new ‘dual role’ screens at various locations are totally unnecessary and unwanted!

I absolutely despise them!

I always pay by cash and prefer a human to process my purchases. I resent being forced to have to scan myself!

I hate digital screens and hate having to touch them. They are incredibly dirty and previous studies have found trace elements of poo on them.

In any case they have totally eliminated my ability to choose how to purchase my groceries!

I will not be shopping at Co Op again.

The convenience of an out of town shop isn’t worth it anymore (especially since your prices are extortionate anyway).

This is the last straw for me, but I know they will totally ignore my complaint and press ahead regardless!

PS - The store is not offered as a location option on their unwanted drop down menu!

Plus, their complaints form wouldn’t send my email!

I've just shelled out £ 5.50 for A Truly Irresistible Lamb Mousasaka from the New CoOp range. It was like eating baby food except without any meat in it. It is the worst food I've eaten in 59 years on earth....

Coop promotes itself by pretending that customers own their Coop but in reality they fleece customers with high prices, slow service and a poor choice of goods on offer, in addition they don't listen to members and are unethical, by example they still sell Frankenchickens despite 90% of members voting that they should stop selling this cruelty. Coop may be convenient but shop elsewhere if you can.
