PREDATORY BUSINESS PRACTICES

When I made my purchase at your store in Tulsa, I followed my sales rep advice and I set up auto pay for amounts larger than the minimum amount due just to make sure I paid off within the 12 months under a “cash” option offer. Guess what you all did??? Didn’t process my 12th payment. This cancelled out my offer saying I was $97 short of paying it off, and now I have about $800 in interests, and growing. This is predatory. You all took advantage of that last payment and didn’t process it with the intention of canceling out that offer.

Because I’m a cancer patient I placed ALL my bills on autopay so I could forget about bills and focus on my health. I came to notice that this account had defaulted several months later. I have been speaking with your Conns Servicing department, and with a “supervisor” since early December. Last week she told me to make a payment for $141 to bring my account to date, which I did, and to then to call back to see if they could reinstate my cash option. Obviously, they did not. Now I’m set up for $68 monthly payments to pay for all that interest just to avoid any more credit issues, and it’s going to continue to accrue interest. You all are PREDATORY. You failed as a business and went into bankruptcy and now you’re exploiting your customers to make up all the money you owe. Now on top of all my medical bills for surgeries and cancer treatment, I’m going to be paying loads of money worth of interest for a washer and dryer that I bought 2 years ago. Way to go Conn’s. You sure “conned” your way out of all your business responsibilities by taking advantage of your customers.

I think we all need to go in on a class…

I think we all need to go in on a class action suit against conns. To many bad reviews

Bought a couch, loveseat and recliner. With in a month the fabric was ripped from stretching. Contacted the warranty company. They had someone come out and sent a replacement for the mechanical components of said couch. When I contacted them back saying the couch fabric ripped they then said it was under review. Months later I got a email saying not covered.. no explanation..

Be honest and don't LIE to the customer.
I purchased a washer and dryer and was charged the property insurance which I DECLINED and was told it would be removed when the account was paid off.
Which was a LIE.
I am told they can't reimbursted the account. I WAS ASSURED THE PROPERTY INSURANCE WOULD BE REIMBURSTED.

SHADY *%#+ BILLING

I bought an office desk back in June 2023. I opted for the payment plan with an option to pay off early. I made eight monthly payment for $35.31. The ninth month I paid $100 10th and 11th month I made $200 payments. Totaling $782.48. So I actually paid the account off early in full May 2024. Today, June 2025 I receive a letter from cons stating I have a balance of $418.06 but I can make a $30.54 payment to bring it current. So over a year later I get this noticed that I still have a balance. I don't know what they're trying to pull, but they can pull on it somewhere else.

This one star rating is overdoing it

This one star rating is overdoing it. I can clearly see why they are out of business. I bought a fridge from them that stopped working within months of purchasing it. If by chance there is a conns in your area, please spare yourselves the headache. Pay attention to the name. Do not purchase from them. Even with a warranty its been a headache. The tech came out and outright refused to fix the issue saying he'd order the part but we needed to find someone else to fix it. This is ridiculous!

0 star company. Deserves to close.

I wish I could rate 0 stars. I ordered a fridge from them and when they came to deliver it the delivery men damaged my washer and dryer bringing the fridge in the house. I called Conn’s to have this rectified and they said it’s my problem because I “signed a liability waiver”. I knew I didn’t sign anything, come to find out, their delivery men just forged my signature on the liability waiver because they forgot to get me to sign it in the beginning and they couldn’t have me sign it after they damaged my property. Conns refused to do anything about the situation. They also lied to the BBB and said there was no damage, even though I sent in evidence of damage. I’m glad they’re going bankrupt and shutting their doors, they don’t deserve to be open.

I purchase a 2600-dollar tv that set on the floor for days they told me I had to purchase a mount for the tv which I did after 4 days finally had an appointment set up to mount the tv the mount was a half inch off so no tv on the wall, my dad had come to see what was going on, he went and purchase the mount and mounted on the wall, so I call conn after 6 days of having the tv I call and cancelled the install for the tv I have been calling for months for them to refund my 349.99 for the install, Phil keep saying they will call me back I still haven't heard from Phil nor Justis

Take your business elsewhere!
Need a zero star befitting for this monster of a company. No wonder they're going out of business. They take your money with no issues but fail to deliver. Save your time,money and stick with Lowes or Home Depot.
When you call regarding issues everyone provides a different response. There's no true customer services. They're robots program to provide you with the same response. Thieves in uniform. Better off contacting Better Business Bereau or better your attorney.

Conns Disastrous Services
Please do not purchase furniture from the Conns Credit Lines or Stores. They are a headache and do not address your issues. I have been trying to resolve a broken furniture with them since I purchase it back in Late April, 2024. To date they have cancelled the service call numerous times and threaten me with collections. I am fighting to cancel the warranty of almost $600.00 to which was never honered. I am hoping they honer my request to cancel the warranty. The furniture cost was over $3,000.00 and I will be paying for a broken furniture set that also has a broken electrical piece. Again, do not purchase from Conns or the credit lines, unless you wish to deal with a nightmare.

I am a 100 percent service connected…

I am a 100 percent service connected disabled veteran. I bought and paid for an adjustable bed in approximately Jan 2023 with a warranty that does not expire until 2025. My bed as of the middle of 2024 is not working . The motor has stopped working. The bed does not let up and down with remote . It smells like burning wire, exhaust and chemicals coming through my mattress. I have to , unfortunately, inhale these fumes in my bedroom.
I have had multiple joint replacement surgeries on my hips and my knees. I have had foot surgeries, I have back problems. I need my bed!
I called Conns on July 31 and was told that a service repair tech would be to my home in two days. I waited patiently till August 5 and because I never heard from them I called back . Now I am told that they have no technician to fix my bed! As of today they said I have wait till Aug 12 for them to see about getting a tech to my home because the dept was under reconstruction? But in the mean time, I’m stuck with a smelly bed emitting fumes into my respiratory system.
I expressed the need to have my bed repaired or replaced or exchanged as soon as possible. I do have a warranty.

Horrible Manager

It’s kinda a good thing that this store is going out of business especially with a person like FRANK being in charged! Rude, lazy, disrespectful and no type of help whatsoever! The staff working underneath him was more help then he was! But what he can do is be on his phone and be uninterested in the situation where their site allowed me to place an order a certain way that it shouldn’t and take my money and he offered no help to rectify the situation! But his cashier as he called her was a lot of help! He even threatened to put me out the store because I’m trying to understand where my money went, and all he kept saying over and over was about a dang invoice! Telling me he was losing his cool like he was scaring me! I told him to lose it! And that he was going to ask me to leave, and I told him I was when I was done speaking the young lady I was speaking with and that’s when he said she’s my cashier like he had some type of ownership over her! Please find FRANK something to do in the warehouse that doesn’t involve customers!

i feel like i got scammed for them when I was 18

I was 18 at the time I bought a dining set table for 1,600 that was the price that was in store I went down the payment plan rout and I was told that at the end of the term 12 months I would pay 2,000 even after making minimum payments which was fine to me I been paying the minimum payments for 4-5 months and I called yesterday to see how much I have left it said I still owed 1,600 and I looked at my credit and it said I have a loan for 4k for 3 years and that wasn't what I signed nor was it what the man at the store told me when I was at the store he asked me to add all these different things to the plan I refused and after reading these different reviews I can really connect to them I really wish I would have read them before going I feel like I got played for a fool

I bought a washer and dryer from Conns…

I bought a washer and dryer from Conns in Tulsa Ok on July 31,2023 I also bought the extended warranty mind you it has not even been a year and my washer and dryer is completely paid for. In June of 24 my dryer stopped getting hot and drying my clothes I called the store and they said the soonest they could get a repair man out to my house was July 19. I said that is unacceptable that would put me without a dryer for over a month. They finally said someone would be there on July 5th Service man came could not find out what was wrong with it so he said he was ordering 3 parts didn't know which part it was but was going to order all 3 and would be back on the 12th. 2 of those parts was delivered 2 days later so on the 11th i get a call saying the 3rd part still has not come in and now it will be the 19th before he will be back. So one the 18th I get a call that the part is on back order and they have no idea when it will be in so I still do not have a dryer. I have called every number i can find. These are the rudest people i have ever delt with no one will even try to help me mind you if i owed a payment they would not wait a month for that. I still have a factory warranty until the 31 of July and the extended warranty is good until 2027. I ask can the repair man come and install the 2 parts that are in and see if that will fix it if not he can come back with the other part. Oh no that cant happen we have to wait on the 3rd part
this has been a nightmare I paid over 4000 for this set and it is useless until they can get around to fixing it. I promise you i will never step foot back in that store and will tell everyone i know to never by form Conns they are rude and very unprofessional and do not give a crap about their customers all the say is i understand the hell you do i have 5 people in my house and a non working brand new 2000 dryer. This is very unprofessional and unacceptable. I have to add a star rating before i can post this but honestly they don't even deserve a 1 star

WARNING ⚠️ This company is the worst be aware they target low income family promising great finance options ect. It's a lie be mindfull of all contracts and look them over closely you will pay 10 times what its worth plus they have no clue what true customer service is . I received broken furniture upon delivery. Due to the fact I signed for it, they would not replace it. Been a customer for 4 years now and have never been so discussed with a company . So glad my time as a customer is near the end . I will never buy anything from this company!!

Recently visited the Tanger outlet…

Recently visited the Tanger outlet location in North Charleston, SC. My experience was horrible. I went to the desk to meet with a salesman and no one came after 15min of waiting. Two ladies walked up and never acknowledged me whatsoever, so I ask do you guys not see me standing? They replied we will be with u in a min. After another 5min of waiting still no acknowledgment! So I decided to call the store while I’m in the store and the lady standing behind the desk who said they will be with me shortly answered saying “thanks for calling conns how can I help you? The other lady noticed it was me calling so she hung up. I walked out without service. The other gentleman stood near doing something else but never checked to see what’s was going on. Had I not have an account with them I’d be closing my card ! Professional service was more than poor!!

This was the first time we visited the…

This was the first time we visited the store. Great staff, selection was great. Had what we needed, prices were lower than other places we shopped. Plan on going back for a living room set we saw. It pays to shop. Their financing was comparable to others. Need to watch the extras if you don't need them don't get them.

So Insurance hung up on me Conns hung up on me. So unprofessional.
