5 stars because I’ve found their customer service fantastic.
I returned an order and incorrectly added the wrong order number and after being refunded the wrong amount due to the incorrect item order being noted, they were so quick to refund the remaining amount after I emailed with proof.
The perfumes are gorgeous, I just unfortunately developed an enduring fragrance sensitivity when wearing the tester. They smell wonderful and their longevity was brilliant, despite my experience from a sensitivity perspective. Couldn’t recommend them more and a genuinely fantastic experience.

sheered off the bottle so the fragrance had leaked everywhere. Have emailed twice now and no response - £140 isn’t cheap and a response would be appreciated!!!!
Leaves a fruity taste
I wanted to order a 'best of' duo set however it was sold out in the UK.
I didn't want to spend £140 on a 100ml bottle so went for a custom duo set. This is two bundled 30ml bottles priced at £110.
Because this smart company don't sell single 30ml bottles.
On checking out the price breakdown was:
Bottle #1 £50
Bottle #2 £50
Custom 30ml duo set £10
(Also included was a free 7.5ml tester!)
Hmmm. £10 for a duo set?. But the fragrance is accounted for. Is it packaging? Am i paying £10 for packaging?
Yes. I was charged £10 for an empty cardboard sleeve - I was given the honour of placing the two boxes in it myself as the duo set was just two packaged bottles of perfume and a sleeve in a cardboard box.
No free tester either.
Which all makes me think. If the duo set is two individual units chucked in a box, why can't a 'best of' duo set (the one I originally wanted) be similarly constructed? Is it because it's cheaper? Who knows. I think I do

Never received my order! Custom service was polite but long in response.
After 3weeks I finally got news just to tell me I will get a refund. Very sad

I have made over five orders with Commodity and never had any issues with them. Orders have been delivered on time without problem and as expected. I absolutely love the scents and the concept of the 3 different 'levels'. Their rewards programme is very generous as well, giving points to use against future purchases.

Very poor Communication
Very poor Communication. Waited on my Exploration Kit for over 3 weeks. When I emailed I got a very rude reply,stating there was a Banner on the Website about Delays. This Banner has only been put in place after I ordered - why would I check a Website for delays? Very poor Service overall. Wont be buying again.

Not sure if this is a scam website but other reviews suggest they received their orders.
First time I placed an order, I received confirmation of order. A week later when I chased the order/delivery, I was told they would check with the warehouse, only to subsequently be informed that my order was cancelled and I would get a full refund, which I did receive.
Thought I would try once more and yet again had to chase the order 3 times, to be informed that they would check with the warehouse. 2 days later I get an cancellation of order email with another email from Customer Services advising me that my order was flagged and that the order is cancelled and I will be refunded, which I can see as pending.
They again advised me to place an order again but this time pay using Payal as it offers better protection
So twice they have taken the money and held it until I chased albeit they have or are refunding.
To top it off, a few days ago I received an email from them asking for my thoughts on the product (that I have not received)
Cant comment on the product as never received. With regards to Customer Service - shocking and they deserve a negative rating especially as they seem to want to hold on to your money without sending they order until you complain or chase several times
Received my exploration kit yesterday…
Received my exploration kit yesterday and must say I was very underwhelmed. Nothing really amazing at all and a lot of the perfumes smelt similar to stuff I have in my 200+ collection already.
Bold+ perfumes have no scent or longevity
Packaging and attention to detail was beautiful. The little booklet that was included was especially helpful; it describes the notes of each perfume, instructions on how to sample them and room for your own notes. HOWEVER, these perfumes have zero longevity despite being the strongest versions of the scents. After 10 minutes I could barely smell them on the paper or on my skin, and I followed the instructions in the booklet exactly as they were given to me. Glad I purchased a discovery kit and not a full sized perfume.

What an Excellent way to find the perfect scent. I purchased an exploration box and everything about it was perfect. The booklet to mark your favourites was a lovely touch.

I had an issue with my order, there was a leak in my sample pack (specifically milk which I was most looking forward to!). These things happen but their support was super quick to send out a replacement. So excited to try it on the skin as it did smell delightful!
Shocking
Shocking, bought some paper plus as a present for the mother with the scent space being bold what is supposed to be for me and everyone else.
She got this in a tester and fell in love with it smell was great and it lasted and she received compliments.
However 130 later for a bottle the smell is still great however it doesn’t last longer than a hour and no one can smell it unless you put your hand to there nose.
Got in contact with customer support and this was there response.

Thank you for reaching out to us regarding Paper Bold. Iso E Super can be really hard to smell, especially given the alcohol base, which can overwhelm the Paper scent at first. Please also note that we have not changed any of our formulations or had batch issues. New fragrance bottles tend to smell different than older fragrance bottles and samples. This is usually due to oxidation. Over time, as you spray the fragrance, the juice level goes down, which leaves more room for oxygen exposure. While samples have more surface area to oxidize. As a result of this oxidation, the fragrance starts to smell increasingly different. The turned scent even tends to smell stronger since the oxidation causes the alcohol to dissipate, leaving more perfume oil concentration than before.
I’m no expert but the way I see it is I myself have had aftershave cheaper or around the same price with no problems.

BROKEN PERFUME - NO ANSWER ABOUT REFOUND
I made a purchase at the EU website in June 28th, my order arrived July 8th and the perfume was BROKEN.
I emailed the EU e-mail SEVERAL TIMES SINCE THEN. And NO ONE ANSWERED. I keep getting newsletter but never a response about my problem! It’s been almost a month and I want my money back.
I lost 31,70€ and I want it back.
No response from customer service
I ordered a discovery kit, which was great and the quality of the perfume was wonderful. But when i went to use the discount code that i should have received with the kit (for buying a full size perfume) i realized i never received it.
I contacted their customer service who were quick to inform me that i should just log in to my profile and be able to find it there- I however don’t remember my password from creating the account, and the website refuses to let me re set it. I’ve tried on different servers and devices- nothing works.
I’ve now contacted their customer service team about this issue three separate times, which i’ve found necessary to do, because they haven’t responded to a single one of them.
This is extra frustrating considering that they were quick to respond the first time. Almost like they only respond to questions with “easy answers”- or questions they can answer with an so. The rest just gets put aside and never responded to.
Don’t buy the discovery kit thinking you can use that money later when buying a full size. It feels more like a scam than anything else.
Horrible customer service- especially considering the prices. So many places to buy nice perfume, go somewhere else.
Really bad customer service
Really bad customer service. I ordered a discovery kit in October and I wasn't in when royal mail tried to deliver. This is obviously my fault, but royal mail then never redelivered or told me where my parcel went. Customer Service was no help at all - if anyone else has similar problems then note that they apparently have zero communication with their couriers and won't send out replacement orders for lost ones. Crazy to me when people could have over £100 in their order!
As I ordered a discovery kit, I was supposed to get a code for money off a full purchase. I haven't received this so I emailed in and got a completely random email back talking about Black Friday discounts and an order in March - neither of these apply to my query. Definitely need some work on their customer service team.

I was gifted a bottle from my elderly grandma in the USA when I received it I noticed that the scent had diminished, so I wrote to the company and spoke to lovely tania we corrosponded over email and she requested I sent her the bottle back for a refund there was a misunderstanding as my grandma didn't buy it online and bought it in a store in the USA I told tania I wasn't looking for a refund but if they could replace the perfume I would be very happy as my grandma is 97 and not very coherent. Tania went above and beyond for me and has replaced the perfume with a different scent which I am elated about. I have used the paper scent before and it was amazing so I am looking forward to trying this new scent. Commodity has gone above and beyond expectations they are amazing once again thank you so much 10/10 on customer service this is the way to treat customer and users of your products amazing I will be sure to be making purchases soon.

I received a perfume sample in my glossy box, paper- personal. It smells amazing. Quite masculine, along the lines of baccarat rouge 520 but slightly different, and lasts for such a long time. I smell it in my hair days later. I had to order the full bottle. Quick delivery too!
