I had a great experience with Commit Action - my coach Alicia B was a huge help in the early stages of starting my business. In the face of infinite distractions she helped me make sure I was putting my energy toward the most high value tasks each week. She was very pragmatic and encouraging, often knowing just what to say when I was feeling discouraged or frustrated. Highly recommend!

My coach, Jamaal, is fantastic. He helps me identify high leverage activities that are going to move the needle. He also balances accountability with understanding when things do get off track. I've noticed a big turnaround in only about 6 weeks. Great investment!

Elizabeth is an outstanding coach. I got so much value out of a short focused conscience once a week call. She understood me, my business, my goals and was able to help me quickly dial in on high leverage actions and support me in my commitment to get them done.

When we came to commitaction my team and I felt like we weren't getting projects done quickly enough and immersed in the day to day. Elizabeth (our commitaction coach) is fantastic and just after a few weeks in the program our team has really hit their stride with a brand new cadence. The most valuable part of our weekly calls were the macro conversations I had with Elizabeth that helped me see the forest through the trees.

I was not sure what to expect initially but i knew i needed help with holding myself accountable. Jake from commit action was amazing in terms up helping me break down the activities in small tasks and he made sure i was on top of the things all week. Commit Action changed my life for the better. I'm going to split up my review into two segments: Program / Coach. I believe both segments are fantastic and deserve their own praise. Let's do this:

PROGRAM:
5/5 - I found Commit Action in early 2021. I was searching for that true accountability partner who could help me plan my most important tasks each week. Two years later, I can confidently report Commit Action was everything I wanted and more. The program is organized, starting with the very first "get to know you call" to placing you with a coach, to providing supplementary group-style sessions if needed. A+

MY COACH, EMILEE
If I could give Emilee a 10/5, I would. She was absolutely everything I could have wanted in a coach and then more. She was timely, thoughtful, diligent, organized, motivating. I think most importantly, for me, she had this amazing 6th sense of when to let me talk (sometimes for awhile)...and when to chime in with important, powerful, clarifying questions or thoughts to propel me forward. Beyond all this, I really felt like Emilee was a friend I could count on who was truly rooting for me.

RESULTS:
My two businesses grew significantly. But even more important than that, I felt like Emilee worked with me to really dig deep into WHY I wanted my businesses to grow. (My big revelation: I wanted freedom, not money. And thus, I started making calculated decisions to give myself more freedom at the end, which made me much, much happier).

I am now entering a phase where I feel I have tremendous clarity and direction...and now it's time for me to complete some necessary steps on my own. But I have no doubt at some point I'll return to Commit Action when the time is right.

Commit Action taught me 'how to think'

What I mean is...

As an ambitious and creative person, I would find myself with too many ideas and too little time – leading to an overall lack of progress towards my most cherished goals.

Not only did I make more progress with Commit Action than I ever had before, but Commit Action taught me a mindset and a system that I'll be able to take with me for the rest of my career (and life).

Expectations vs. Reality:
As an individual with high hopes for the Commit to Action program, I ended up feeling somewhat disheartened. I anticipated a program that would be highly personal and motivating, but my experience did not align with these expectations.

Impersonal Communication:
One of the main issues I encountered was the impersonal nature of the communication. The program relies on phone calls with a coach whom you've never met in person. The absence of visual interaction, as offered by platforms like Zoom or FaceTime, made the experience feel detached and less engaging for me.

Lack of Motivation:
Motivation was a crucial aspect I was looking to gain from the program. Despite the professionalism and kindness of my coach, the program failed to ignite the level of motivation I was seeking. Interestingly, I discovered that I felt more inspired by freely available YouTube videos and podcasts, which provided me with greater motivation and were more effective for my needs.

Questioning the Value:
I also came to the realization that the goals I set with the program were similar to what I could have achieved through casual conversations with friends. This led me to question the overall value of paying for such a service, especially when I could set similar goals on my own every week.

Concluding Thoughts:
While 'Commit to Action' may be beneficial for some, it did not meet my personal needs and expectations. The lack of personal interaction was somewhat disappointing, but this paled in comparison to the realization that their system was not working for me. Discovering that I could achieve similar results on my own made the financial investment in the program feel unjustifiable. Ultimately, I felt like I had wasted my money.

However, the most significant revelation from my experience with this accountability course is the understanding that I am capable of self-managing my tasks, not just adequately, but even better than I initially thought. This realization emerged from the unexpected motivation following the sense of having spent money without visible benefits. The notion of potentially needing further investment if I couldn't independently manage my tasks became a key motivator. Additionally, the thought of saving money by not using an accountability service and redirecting it towards more effective resources has been a strong incentive. This sense of regret over the financial expenditure has evolved into a powerful driving force, prompting me to carefully plan my week and consistently track my progress towards my goals. Interestingly, this newfound self-reliance and enhanced productivity, though not a direct aim of the course, have been the most impactful outcomes, helping me to accomplish more.

I’ve spent the last 9 weeks with my coach Jake. Not only is CA great, but Jake is incredible. You wouldn’t be shocked how simple accountability increase productivity. In combination with his check in texts and our weekly calls, working with CA has been well worth it!

Commit Action along with my ninja level coach Summer Valli have been life changing for me. I’m an entrepreneur who recently opened my dream winery three years ago with no money and hard work.
