I originally wanted to give this 3 stars, and despite its flaws, I can still recommend it.
I don’t usually write reviews, but this time I felt the need to share my frustration. I’ve been watching Invincible, and one of ColdFilm’s biggest strengths is how quickly they release Russian translations - often among the first available.
However, the quality sometimes suffers because of that speed. For example, translating Invincible as “непобедимый” is simply incorrect. The show has consistently been translated as “неуязвимый” in official releases and earlier Russian versions, so this is not a matter of interpretation but a clear inconsistency. Hearing the wrong version repeated multiple times (especially in Season 4, Episode 4) completely breaks immersion.
That said, I understand they are working fast to be among the first, and overall their translations are decent. Still, lowering translation standards for speed is noticeable and disappointing.
In the end, I can recommend them if you care more about fast releases than perfect accuracy - but be prepared for mistakes like this.
