Pre-ordered dining chairs
TLDR:
Would buy again!

The good first:
Prices are way less than I could find in other places
. It's wood, not aluminum. I was expecting to have aluminum chairs, but this exceeded my expectations
Packaging quality is great. No flimsy parts, everything is packed very well
The chairs are as they appear on the website. Same color, everything as I expected it to be
Due to the extended delivery time, they gave a discount

The bad:
The wait time was extensive. It's not uncommon to wait 3 months for a sofa, but for their new release, they had to postpone delivery for 1.5 months
Minor - the bottom half of the legs is done from a hard plastic; doing it from rubbery materials would add stability

Total scam.

Order was not delivered. I had been chatting with support and all of the sudden, I received emails saying that “email address was not found”. What am I supposed to do!!!

I got the Colamy Atlas a few days ago, it's pretty easy to assemble, took me about 30 min total, a nice chair overall. Definitely an upgrade from my old clunky one, which gave me lower back pain. Took them 15 days more to ship than expected due to it not being in stock, but other than that all good.

J’ai préféré attendre une semaine complète avant de donner mon avis sur la Colamy Atlas, histoire de prendre un peu de recul et de ne pas juger à chaud. Verdict ? Une chaise globalement correcte, mais plusieurs défauts viennent ternir l’expérience et empêchent de la recommander les yeux fermés.

Les points positifs :

- L’assise est à la fois ferme et confortable, ce qui permet de rester assis plusieurs heures sans gêne.

- Le dossier est agréable et bien pensé. Il offre un bon soutien sans nécessiter d’élément supplémentaire.

- Les options de réglage sont nombreuses et bienvenues (accoudoirs, hauteur, inclinaison, etc.).

- Le montage est simple, rapide, et faisable seul.

- La qualité globale est moyenne, mais cohérente avec le prix.

Les points négatifs :

- Les accoudoirs manquent clairement de stabilité. Ils bougent trop facilement et cela finit par devenir pénible à l’usage.

- Le support lombaire est inutile, voire désagréable. Il rigidifie le dossier sans améliorer le confort. J’ai voulu le retirer avec un outil recommandé sur Reddit, sans succès. Je pense devoir le découper à la Dremel.

- Le pas de vis de l’appuie-tête s’est abîmé dès l’assemblage, ce qui est franchement décevant. J’aimerais recevoir un nouvel appuie-tête en remplacement.

- L’outil de montage fourni (la clé Allen) est de très mauvaise qualité. Elle s’est rapidement usée pendant l’assemblage. Là aussi, un remplacement serait le bienvenu.

En résumé :
La chaise a du potentiel et propose de bonnes choses côté confort et réglages, mais les défauts de conception ou de finition gâchent un peu le tableau. J’ai sérieusement envisagé de la retourner, mais j’ai choisi de lui laisser sa chance. C’est pour cette raison que j’ai pris le temps d’évaluer la chaise sur plusieurs jours avant de publier cet avis. Avec quelques améliorations, ce modèle pourrait vraiment valoir le coup.

The customer service is non existent and they make it extremely hard (if not impossible) to return an item.

So really they shouldn't be allowed to do business in the EU, since this Chinese company doesn't conform to the rules.

They will either simply don't reply to your request that you want to return the item (a desk chair in my case) or they will sent a standard non helpful reply a few days later followed by ignoring you again.

I ordered the Hina chair. Indicated on the website with leather seating in multiple pictures and written under features. There was only one small picture, which you needed to scroll for, to see the mention of the fabric (and I'm not even sure that pictures was there before I complained). They keep on referring that fabric seating was clearly stated still with the leather pictures present, indicating that leather is only for the US market. Returning is not possible because you have to pay for yourself the shipping and they give themselves the right to decline reimbursement.
Update after multiple contacts with customer care: they don't even understand the difference between mesh and fabric ... a mesh chair for them means fabric on the seat ... with foam and therefor could not be leather. They actually do sell chairs with mesh seating but apparently that is all the same.

I was initially skeptical about the lack of reviews and the apprehension expressed by some web users regarding shipment tracking.

I decided to order an office chair anyway.

Despite being during the holiday period, the package arrived after a few days. The chair is comfortable, and the quality looks great for the price.

The only problem was tracking the shipment: the link on the order page led to an external site, but it failed to track the shipment. Instead, I went to the courier’s website (GLS) and entered the number provided as an "international shipment" tracking number, and I got the correct tracking. Although it was not a big problem for me, I can understand how it may cause concern for users who are not so accustomed to online shopping.
