I recently moved from California to North Carolina with this company, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience! I was told to expect about five days for delivery, and my things actually arrived in just four days.

From the moment the crew arrived to pack and load everything, they were incredibly friendly, courteous, and professional. They were very careful with my belongings and did an amazing job fitting everything securely. They were also very communicative throughout the process. Whenever I had a question, they took the time to explain everything to me clearly, and they never seemed bothered if I needed something explained or repeated. That really meant a lot to me and made the entire experience much less stressful.

Everything made it across the country safely with zero damage, which was especially important to me with such a long-distance move. When they arrived in North Carolina, the unloading process was just as smooth. The crew was polite, organized, careful, and got everything unloaded in a timely manner.

I also read through the reviews before choosing this company, so I understand that every experience can be different. Personally, I had a wonderful experience from beginning to end. I would absolutely recommend giving them a chance and judging the team by the service they provide. They were a very professional, hardworking, and respectful crew.

I recently moved from California to Texas, and I had an amazing experience with Coast 2 Coast! The entire team was professional, friendly, and very helpful throughout the whole process. Moving to another state can be stressful, but they made everything so much easier and smoother. The employees were respectful, hardworking, and always made sure my belongings were handled with care. I truly appreciate their great service and would definitely recommend Coast 2 Coast to anyone planning a long-distance move!

Do not use this company. So predatory. They listed all the furniture we needed moved with an estimate of space and price. Then day of, movers showed up and claimed pieces weren't on the estimate, even though after arguing, they admitted they were on the estimate. Then they said the space estimate was inaccurate and that we needed to pay almost double. We were presented with the choice of walking away from our deposit or paying whatever they said. Save yourself the hassle and don't hire coast to coast.

**HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE led to contacting lawyer and police**

I never leave negative reviews. I genuinely don't want to affect a company's livelihood. But Coast 2 Coast Relocation is committing fraud and I have a responsibility to warn people.

After problems started I contacted the FMCSA, the federal agency that regulates moving companies. They told me Coast 2 Coast had 12 complaints filed against them in 2026 alone by June and are actively investigating the company's practices. We are far from alone.

My binding estimate was $3,450. Once all my belongings were loaded onto the truck they handed me a new bill for $6,140. Nearly double, with no documentation or justification. The crew had no uniforms on and smelled strongly of marijuana the entire time. By the end of the day they were throwing my things into boxes carelessly.

My belongings then sat in a Bay Area warehouse for two weeks with zero communication. I arrived in DC to a completely empty apartment with no furniture, no bedding, nothing to sleep on.

Delivery was confirmed for 8am on June 5. The driver didn't show up. I had prepaid $350 to reserve my building elevator for that window. Gone. When he finally arrived hours later he demanded $1,973 in cash only. Their own customer service rep had confirmed in writing just 4 days earlier that I owed $1,036.10, payable by Zelle. He added a shuttle fee for an address the company had on file for 45 days and double-billed the elevator fee that was already in my signed estimate, showing up as two different amounts across their own documents.

The situation felt unsafe enough that I called the police to report what was happening and for my own safety. They did not come but my building manager ended up escorting me through the entire drop off process.

Two ceramic planters arrived broken. A glass light fixture was shattered inside loose packing paper with no protective box. Jewelry went missing after delivery and was never recovered.

I escalated to the CEO and corporate officer in writing. Neither responded.

Customer service manager Jill Rodriguez promised to follow up on my billing dispute, ignored three attempts to reach her, then sent a boilerplate email threatening storage fees for refusing delivery when I never refused delivery. I disputed improper charges. Those are not the same thing. When I kept pushing she tried to gaslight me by reframing my billing dispute as a damage claim so she could block it under a one claim per move policy. They are two completely separate issues.

Their sales rep Melanie deliberately misled us about the delivery timeline to close the sale. She confirmed in writing that they run a tighter timeframe than competitors and that our pickup dates would get us delivery by our target date. Then hid behind a 0-21 business day fine print clause when none of it happened.

I am filing complaints with the FMCSA and the BBB. Total in dispute: $3,636.90. Do not use this company.

Sooo happy I went with them!
I thought about using a big brand moving company but loved that Coast 2 Coast Relocation was based in California and they have been so easy to work with (like dealing with a mom and pop shop vs a corporation). All of my furniture and boxes arrived at my new home in TN unscathed and they even put together my couch and two beds at the new house. It was so surreal to be in a different state with my same furniture from my apartment in CA. Highly recommend Coast 2 Coast, they actually care about your move.

They showed up on time and i was sooo stressed in general for my move since i love california so much but their team put me at ease! Glad i went with them! Their team was very nice and sweet to my family.

I WANT TO THANK THE OTHER REVIEWERS OF THIS COMPANY, AS THEY HELPED ME TO AVOID FURTHER TROUBLE AND FURTHER PROBLEMS. This company promised a pickup date (which never happened), zero follow-through, constant run-around and lies, incompetent employee, manager never called despite that I was told MULTIPLE TIMES that this person would call me (her name is Jill). The only thing they did was steal a deposit of 35% of the "anticipated" cost (which according to other reviewers is never accurate and may be doubled or tripled unexpectedly); just ongoing talk and no action; they should be in jail; all they do literally is steal people's money and then disappear; professional "ghosters"; trash company; hopefully, the law eventually catches up with them; they should not be able to continue doing this to people in the USA; unbelievably terrible experience
