When I joined Cloud Tech Inner Circle, I was in the middle of a career transition and honestly had a lot of pieces that weren’t fully connecting. I was building technical skills and completing projects, but I wasn’t sure how to position my experience, portfolio, GitHub, and resume so that employers could clearly see where I was headed.

One of my biggest wins has been getting much more intentional about my portfolio and professional brand. I’ve been able to take the technical projects I was already working on and present them as real demonstrations of skills in Azure, Active Directory, ServiceNow, networking, cloud infrastructure, and IT support instead of just listing coursework.

Jhante’s coaching has played a big part in that. The portfolio guidance, resume feedback, and conversations around how recruiters actually evaluate candidates helped me see that simply completing projects wasn’t enough. I needed to explain what I built, what problem I solved, what technologies I used, and what the project proves I can do.

Before joining, my objective was mainly to gain technical experience so I could transition out of my Executive Assistant career and into tech. What actually happened is that I started learning how to position that transition strategically. My resume is more targeted, my GitHub is becoming a real portfolio, I’m documenting my projects, recording walkthroughs, and building a much clearer story around my technical experience.

What surprised me most is how much the positioning matters. You can spend months learning Azure, Active Directory, networking, ServiceNow, and other technologies, but if your resume and portfolio don’t communicate those skills properly, employers may never see what you’re capable of.

I would say this community is not for someone looking for a shortcut. You still have to study, build the projects, troubleshoot when things don’t work, revise your resume, and put yourself out there. The coaching gives you direction, but you have to do the work.

I’m still in the middle of my transition, so my story isn’t finished yet. But I’m much more confident about what I’m building, why I’m building it, and how to present myself for the roles I’m targeting. That clarity alone has made joining worthwhile.

Before I joined, I was at a crossroads. I had just completed my Network+ and Security+ certifications, but I was still looking for a clear career path with greater financial opportunity.

The hands-on labs gave me confidence and a clearer vision of where I could go. That confidence led me to have a conversation with my employer about transitioning into Cloud Engineering. I was able to demonstrate what I had been learning and, as a result, commanded a $21,000+ raise on the spot.

What made the biggest difference was the hands-on experience. Instead of just learning theory, I was creating environments, encountering real problems, and troubleshooting them. Every problem I solved reinforced that I can do this and gave me confidence that I could pursue higher-paying opportunities.

I was also surprised by how much I accomplished as I progressed. The more labs I completed, the stronger my troubleshooting skills and confidence became.

This is not for someone who procrastinates or isn’t willing to work hard, think critically, and solve problems. You have to be willing to put in the work—but if you do, the results can be extremely rewarding.

Working with CloudTechExec has been an absolute game-changer for my career. After experiencing a layoff with over 4+ years of experience under my belt, my confidence took a hit, and I was struggling to navigate the current job market. I knew my technical skills, but I needed help translating my background into a resume that actually caught recruiters' eyes. Because of his mentorship, patience, and teaching style, I was able to bounce back stronger and land a Cloud Data Security Engineer position making $140k. He doesn't just give you generic advice; he acts as a genuine mentor who invests in your growth. If you get the chance to work with him, do it.

Before working with CloudTechExec, I was stuck and honestly not getting anywhere. I was filling out applications and wasn’t even getting denial emails back. I knew I had the skillset, but I didn’t know how to properly present myself or the correct ways to go about finding the opportunities I was looking for.

I had no real proof of concept for where I wanted to go. I just knew it was possible. I was already in the IT space making six figures, but I knew I wanted to do more and take my career to another level.

After joining the community and working with Jhante, I was able to find a new position within 60 days and DOUBLE my salary. Yes, double.

Without him, I would not be where I am today, and I tell him that all the time.

I ended up getting the 1:1 access package within the community, and one of the biggest things he taught me was how to market myself. He showed me the proper channels for reaching out to recruiters/being seen by recruiters, how to speak to them, how to position myself, how to update my resume, and honestly just countless gems that I had never thought about or even knew I needed to think about.

Having direct access to him was also a major benefit. If I had questions, was nervous about an interview, needed quick feedback, or just wanted to have a conversation about something career-related, I had that access.

Outcome: I doubled my salary within 60 days of joining. Even now, I’m still being reached out to by recruiters daily, and that’s without me consistently implementing the full process he teaches inside the community.

CTE has the knowledge, and he knows exactly what he is teaching. The results speak for themselves.

I will say this though: if you are not a hard worker or you need someone to constantly push you to want better for yourself, this probably will not be for you. The community itself will provide motivation, but CTE is not going to force you to do the things that need to be done to change your life for the better.

He will give you the knowledge, tools, access, and game plan, but you still have to do the work.

That part has to come from you.

Joining Jhante’s Skool community has been a great part of my journey into tech. I originally found Jhante on Instagram, and after watching video after video about breaking into tech, I ended up going down the rabbit hole of his content and eventually joined the community.

One of my biggest takeaways was the course section. I went through the courses, implemented what I learned, recorded myself doing the labs, and documented my progress on LinkedIn. It gave me the opportunity to actually apply what I was learning instead of just watching videos.

Being someone that has been in the IT industry for a number of years and hearing all kinds of advice and 'hacks' to get higher paying jobs, this program has been a game changer for me. This year has had a lot of ups and downs professionally, but hopping on with this program not only supplied me with the tools to get some certifications I needed like AZ-900 and AZ-104, but it also spells out how to build real skills and work with other people in the community.

Not to mention al the tips and tricks in building your resume, interview best practices and using job boards? As long as you follow through things will happen. Nothing is going to happen unless you make the time to use the program, a lesson I learned early on. But using the tools and following through on his advice has landed me significantly more interviews than I ever got prior to joining Cloud Tech Exec.

Before joining CloudTech, I was stuck in a physically demanding job with no raises or promotions in sight — despite already holding my Security+, an AWS Cloud Practitioner certification, and having completed a cybersecurity boot camp. I was applying constantly, tweaking my resume every way I knew how, and still only getting rare responses and zero interviews.

My only hesitation before joining was money. I’d already put a lot into cybersecurity through student loans, and between rent, car insurance, and living on my own, I had to really map out my monthly expenses to see if I could afford to invest in the program. Looking back, it was the best investment I’ve made.

Once I locked in — 20+ applications a day, working through the labs, refreshing my LinkedIn and job board profiles, and posting my lab work publicly — the results came fast. That speed genuinely surprised me. Within weeks I went from zero interviews to landing 2-3 interviews every week.

The resume rebuild was a huge part of that shift, but it wasn’t just the resume — it was the whole system: the Sunday calls, the documentation in the school community, and the labs that let me walk into interviews and speak confidently about what I actually know. Those same labs gave me skills I’m using in my job right now.

CloudTech didn’t just help me get interviews — it gave me the accountability, community, and hands-on skills to actually convert them. Worth every dollar.

I worked with Jhante while completing my undergraduate degree, and his guidance helped me jump-start my career in tech. Three years. That's how long I carried the weight of being an engineering graduate with nothing to show for it. Not because I wasn't trying. Because every application, every "we'll keep your resume on file," every silent rejection chipped away at something I didn't even realize was breaking until I found myself doing work that felt completely senseless, just to survive.

I didn't walk into Cloudtechexec looking for a mentor. Honestly, I didn't think I needed one. I'd been let down enough times that trust wasn't something I handed out easily anymore. But something happened I didn't plan for. Jhante and I found each other in the most unexpected way, both wrestlers, both Caribbean, and that shared understanding cracked open a door I'd kept shut. It wasn't about credentials. It was about recognizing someone who got it. Once that trust was there, I stopped second guessing every move and just did the work he pointed me toward.

My eyes were set on becoming a Cloud Engineer. Life had other plans first. I had to pivot to a System Administrator role because I needed the income, not because I gave up on the dream. What still amazes me is that within two weeks of making that hard, humbling decision, I had the offer. My first professional role. $40 an hour. And I felt something I hadn't felt in three years: forward motion.

That role isn't the story's ending. It's the first real sentence of it. Cloud Engineer is still where I'm headed, and now I'm walking there instead of standing still.

If you're looking for someone to hand you a job while you sit back, this community will frustrate you. But if you're someone who just needs real guidance and a reason to trust the process again, put in the work, and you will get where you're going. I'm living proof.

Joining a community of similarly goal oriented career prospects helped me get more perspective of where I stood in my career, how much farther I can go, and the work ethic that's required from me to get what I want for myself.
The wins I have since joining have been the growth of my skillset, mindset, and project portfolio, all of which has been supported and rallied by the Cloudtechexec community! I am merely a few months in, and I have already gotten several interviews and reach-outs from IT recruiters.
Initially I objected joining because there are a dozen career building courses/communities out there, so I had my skepticism about the legitimacy of Cloudtechexec. That being said, however, Jhante had demonstrated how comprehensive he is with IT, Cloud Engineering, and being able to communicate and teach it to others. Above all that, he keeps us accountable with the weekly Sunday meetings.

That being said, this group is NOT meant for people who aren't willing to MAKE the time and effort into getting the most use out of CloudTechExec and its community. We will help you, and support you, and guide you, especially if you are stuck on a lab, project or to build confidence in an interview prep!
However, there is no hand-holding. You need to show up, put in the work, and make no excuses for yourself no matter what.
There are full time working parents and students in this community who still show up and still put in the work, so you better trust yourself to do the same. Make the time for the Meet-up calls, participate with others in the community, ask for help if you need it, and above all else, do the work.
If you meet these checkmarks, then you will absolutely thrive here. Its worth the investment in yourself.

I started this cloud tech program knowing nothing about IT infrastructure or security — my goal was simply to pivot careers. Now I have two interviews lined up, thanks largely to the hands-on Splunk and Wireshark labs. What surprised me most? How much of this knowledge is free, you just have to go find it.

Before I decided to join up into Jhante’s Skool (inner circle) I was washing windows and stuck at a crossroads of wanting a better career outside of hard labor.

I did the meetings created labs, posted to LinkedIn but somehow was not finding a way into the field. Jhante had seen the try hard effort and knew I needed a win. He set me up with a paid internship interview and lo and behold I managed to secure it. This is in the governance compliance space which wasn’t what I had expected to be in but have been enjoying it!
I was reeling with thoughts about, “you’re too late to the tech world”, “you have no experience at all”, “this is a mistake you won’t be able to succeed”.

But that wasn’t the case as long as I followed the plan and did the work things started to come to me and opportunities arrived. I had been wrong and the mentorship I have along with the multiple others going through the same things as I am made the difference.

In order to succeed within this group, you need to be able to show up and do the work. Period. This isn’t a hope and pray without any effort. Bring your work hard mentality to the space and things WILL happen. I’ve seen it and am experiencing it today!

My name is Keenan and I am a member of the Cloud tech inner circle. I came in this group with ambition and although I have it I questioned whether this would be a good move for me. I can say with confidence if I did not join I would not be where I am today. The cloud inner circle is takes the basic foundational know how and dives deep into implementation. My mentor Jhante provides anything you need from labs to resume revisions with a literal template that stands out to hiring managers and let’s not forget the interview preps. Best of all everything is hands on and he challenges you to shift your mindset. Now you do have to put the effort and the work in. This is not an overnight transformation but it will take real grind on your part, this is not for anyone who does not take action or procrastinates. Him and his team are dedicated and they have office hours to assist you in labs or just answer any questions you need pertaining to your career growth. Since joining I have aced AWS Solutions Architect earning my certification and have done hands numerous labs in real environments in a structured manner. It has opened up more doors for me and recruiters are reaching out to me with six figure roles on the table and at my current company they are now entertaining a promotion I wanted and it is coming by the end of this quarter. If you are on the fence I would say to join. It is worth every penny and they have payment plans if your budget is tight which is what helped me.

I came here as a physical therapist who couldn't stand the thought of doing it for another 30 years. I'd always been interested in tech, but I felt trapped by everything I'd already put into PT. Years of school, a doctorate, a license I worked hard for. Walking away from that felt like throwing it in the trash, so every time I got serious about switching I talked myself out of it. That's the honest reason I stayed stuck for so long. It wasn't that I couldn't learn the material, it's that I'd already paid too much to quit. So I did it the slow way instead. Studied on my own, applied on my own, collected rejections. I was doing all the chasing and nobody was chasing back.

What finally changed it wasn't studying harder, which is what I assumed I needed. It was the labs Jhante has us run and the resume and LinkedIn reworks. The labs put you in the cloud actually building things instead of watching someone else build them, so you can tell a hiring manager what you deployed, what broke and how you fixed it. But the bigger fix for me was the positioning. I'd been describing what I learned instead of what I built, in language that meant nothing to the people doing the hiring. You can have every skill in the world and it's worthless if you can't leverage it. Once my resume and profile actually reflected what I could do, the whole direction reversed. I had 6 recruiters reach out to me in one week. Applying on my own, I got zero. The sunk cost I was so worried about turned out to be the smallest problem I had, because those years are gone either way and the only real question was whether the next ten look like the last ten.

The part I didn't expect is the people in here. Everyone has the same goal and genuinely wants to see each other win, and I've gotten real guidance from members who had nothing to gain from giving it. I'll say this though, it's not for anyone looking for an easy way out. Most people want a career handed to them and that doesn't exist anywhere.
