Clueless and Untrustworthy Mechanic: Clint Missed Safety Issues & Total Failures, Leaving Me with a Lemon!
What kind of idiot mechanic misses a taped cracked radiator? Belle Tire found it immediately! Clint is a liar and a jerk! I am disabled and on a limited income.I took a 2010 Corolla to Clint for a pre-purchase inspection on July 15, 2026, with my friend and the seller present. Clint repeatedly called it a “solid car and a good buy.” His estimate only listed that it needed two tires, an alignment, throttle body parts, and a water pump, which he did not inspect because it required extensive work to access. I bought the car based on Clint’s assessment.
After weeks of waiting for the repairs he promised, I finally took it elsewhere. Belle Tire found the cracked radiator with old, easily noticeable tape and provided a written statement. A new radiator cost $800.The car also needed the entire throttle assembly, not just throttle body parts, a battery, windshield repairs, and driver’s window work.The oil was extremely dirty, which raised concerns about possible engine problems—something Clint never mentioned.
The car turned out to be a lemon, will cost thousands to make safe, and as of August 26, 2026, is still unsafe to drive. Clint never identified these issues.
I have uploaded a photo of the obvious taped cracked radiator to the Google Maps and Google review page for this shop so everyone can see the proof.
Clint needs to take responsibility for the inspection I paid for. I am posting this everywhere possible so others know what happened.
