I first want to mention how great our guides were - Rayson and Jeffrey. They set a great pace to allow our bodies to adapt to the environment and neither of us really struggled at any point in the hike until the summit attempt which I think is understandable. They were in good spirits throughout the hike and made sure that we were happy and in good spirits ourselves. They offered lots of knowledge and insight into the flora and fauna out on the mountain and they even helped to teach us some common words and phrases (and songs!) in Swahili.

The entire staff was incredibly helpful, polite, and everyone really went above and beyond my expectations to make sure that my wife and I were as comfortable as we could be out in the Kili wilderness. My wife wasn't quite able to make it to the summit, but I knew she was in good hands when Rayson took her back to Barafu camp while I continued along with Jeffrey to the summit where I was almost overwhelmed by a tremendous sense of accomplishment after spending 5+ days working my way toward that moment.

The entire hike is something that we'll never forget and I'm eternally grateful for the whole team that was there to help make our dreams come true.

Conquering Mount Kilimanjaro has been on my bucket list. When my friends and I decided to climb it, we were not sure what to expect other than the research we did online. We came across Climbing Kilimanjaro and from the first contact, they have been professional, courteous and friendly.

Our trip of a lifetime was handed to our trusted head guide Musa. I am eternally grateful to Musa and Sunga and the team for their incredible support, guidance and professionalism. Musa knows the mountain like the back of his hand and our experience wouldn’t have been this brilliant if not for him and his team.

I will never forget a trek like this and the memories of the mountain.

Just completed a 7 day trek through the Machame Route with the Climbing Kilimanjaro team. I was completely blown away by their levels of professionalism. Any help that was needed was recognised and given before ever having to ask. Our guides Musa and Sanga helped the experience along further by always having a chat and a laugh through every day. Their team made it seem like we weren't even camping. Beautiful meals prepared and cooked for us by the time we got to the next camp ensuring we were refuelled for the next walk.

Literally can't think of a bad thing to say about this team. They were incredible. Easy choice if you're contemplating a Kili hike. These are your guys!

What a 7 day trek it was - As a well traveled group I was blown away that my every expectation exceeded.
Musa and Sanga were fabulous incredibly knowledgeable and always had "my back".
We made it to the summit and I'm not sure I would have made it if it was not for Musa and his team.

Climbing Kilimanjaro Tour Operator has been highly professional. Nikki was super reactive in responding in a professional to all our questions. We are a French family with 2 kids, our last daughter is just 14. Preparation is essential, it is key to carefully follow Nikki instructions. It should be noted that expert trek shops in Paris were impressed by the quality of the list provided. The team we had was excellent, and the 2 guides Roger & Safi really amazing (they were for us Dad/Mam&Doctor altogether), we really feel safe. We shared an amazing experience with all the team, it is really high in emotion. With the superior package, quality of the food and bed are excellent. I must admit that we did not expect such quality. I highly recommend this Tour Operator, it is good value for money and an excellent way to reach the summit. Do not under estimate the climb, it is hard and you will suffer especially the night you reach the summit but you will be help tremendously, physically and mentally.

We had a fantastic 7 day climb of the Machame route. Freddy and Michael our guides were informed as to how to successfully complete the climb and were very helpful with any problems we encountered on the way. The food was excellent, 3 hot meals a day served beautifully always with more food than we could consume. The porters were unbelievable, not only with the speed that the camps were set up before our arrival but always there to help give us a hand. Sometimes just getting out of the tent needed a hand and there they were. Unbelievable. Always cheerful and ready with a song and dance. We were 3 generations of family making the climb, the youngest 17 and oldest 78. No doubt we are closer as a family after this climb. Climbing Kilimanjaro is to be commended for everything going so smoothly from the pickup at the Kilimanjaro airport to the delivery back to the airport, everything always on time. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone planning the climb. We will never be the same.

I have just successfully completed the 8 day Lemosho route. What an amazing adventure. With David as my tour guide, everything went perfect. His team is fantastic and his experience wonderful. I can with pleasure recommend Climbing Kilimanjaro as your tour operator. They take care of everything. That left me to only relax and enjoy every moment. Thanks guys for a breathtaking experience.

I honestly cannot say enough good things about my experience with climbing kilamanjaro. From the start of booking- Nikki was extremely helpful and responsive, our climb was easily booked and all of our questions answered accurately. Our guides- Musa and Sunga- were so knowledgeable, kind, and helpful. You could tell that this work is their passion. My friend and I did the superior package 6 Day Machame Route . We had a variety of hot meals prepared for us, breakfast lunch and dinner. All of the meals were excellent. Water was readily available for us every day. We both summitted successfully, I don’t know if that would’ve been possible with just any company, do not underestimate this mountain! All of the porters were so sweet and all of our stuff was well taken care of. It was bittersweet to say goodbye to the whole team. Thanks again climbing kilamanjaro!

The four of us, who had never met each other before, commenced a 7-day Machame Route hike on 03 Jun 19.

Preparation for the trip was simple and a considerable amount of advice was provided from the team at ClimbingKilimanjaro.com. Transfers were easily arranged and on time upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport.

We met the team including the guides and porters at Sal Salinero hotel and were provided an extensive and informative briefing from Charity who also answered all of our questions. The team also ensured that we had everything that we needed prior to commencing our trip.

The entire week was a huge success thanks to the hard work and dedication of the team led by Nelson. We cannot speak highly enough of Nelson as he was always there to assist us in any way possible and worked hard throughout the week ensuring the welfare of both us and his team.

Alex (one of the two assistant guides) led our way through the majority of the route and kept us on track to meet our checkpoints. Gilbert (the other assistant guide) worked extremely hard throughout the week as both a guide, a porter and our assistant in the camp. Gilbert is extremely motivated and experienced, has a great sense of humor and is your go-to for anything you need.

The food was prepared by the mountains best cook, Dowson (unsure if spelling is correct) and was significantly better than expected. Dowson produces all the necessary food in 3 excellent meals per day to get you from point A to B. We cannot express enough how grateful we are for having quality food throughout the entire trip.

The 7-day Machame route was incredible and provided the opportunity to see many amazing sights on the mountain including Lava tower, the Barranco Wall and Shira caves. It also provided plenty of time for acclimatization and socializing amongst other climbers.

We were all cofident going into summit morning and this was a testament to the team including Nelson who prepared us and instilled a lot of confidence in us and our summit team. The summit was an incredibly difficult personal challenge for us all in many different ways but we took it "Pole-Pole" and made it in great time. We actually found ourselves overtaking other teams who were being rushed by their guides and needing longer rest times and from a 1230 start we arrived at Stella point at 0545 in great time.

Overall the entire experience was incredible and the team at both ClimbingKilimanjaro.com and Hidden Valley Safaris was brilliant. I would recommend Nelson, Alex, Gilbert and their team to anyone. Asante! Umefanya Vizuri!

We were a group of 13 people and had a unique goal...summit in less than 48 hours from the start and, if possible, in shorts and shirtless all the way.

From the start Nikki was very accommodating with our request and did everything possible to make sure our trip would be success.

Once in Tanzania, Mannasseh was always available and doing everything in his power to make sure we had everything we needed to make it all happen.

The trek itself was amazing. David, Salim, Jackson, Good Luck and the rest of the guides were amazing. Deeply experienced, incredibly friendly and constantly watching out for us as we did our fast ascent.

Our trip was a huge success! 12 out of 13 reached the summit in record time. The guides were super accommodating in supporting the speed of the different group members and very supportive of our climb.

The food was plentiful and much much better than I could have anticipated...Ziggy is a master chef.

Also a big thank you to all the porters that worked the butts off doing all the really hard work. It was amazing how loving and caring they all were in supporting our goal.

When I selected Climbing Kilimanjaro for the trek, I knew I had made the right decision. Now after the trek I am so grateful for choosing Climbing Kilimanjaro.

The whole trip was fantastic, the organisation was superb and we possibly couldn’t have had a better team to look after us.
There are a few special moments that left a lasting impression :
Food surpassed our expectations. It was great, tasty, nutritious and plentiful. A special thanks to the “Stomach engineer” for keeping our bellies full with warm and delicious meals every day.

Having a hot bowl of water for washing every morning and evening was a special treat and despite all the dust along the route, every time we arrived at the camp, our bags, tents and mats were all set up and clean.

We can’t sing enough praises to the guides : David, Good Luck, Nelson, Edwin and African. Where did you find such as fantastic bunch of lovely, kind and fun people ? They really made us feel as though this wasn’t just a job for them, each went an extra mile to make us feel comfortable, carrying spare water to save our energy, zipping our jackets, fastening our gaiters, taking pictures, helping with rucksacks and singing songs along the way.

We will never forget how they cheered us on all the way to the summit, singing songs with all our names and keeping our spirits up.
We believe that these guys had a lot to do with the success of our group and all of us reaching the summit.

And then…. reaching the camp on the way back from the summit, having all the porters cheering congratulations, bringing us each a chair to sit on, taking off and dusting our gaiters and shoes, serving a cold cap of fruit juice ….. all these little things we will remember and be in our stories, because they did make us feel very special.

The party after was great fun, we loved all the singing and dancing and it was really sad having to say good byes after such a great, memorable and emotional week.

My guide, Mussa, was very experienced and knowledgeable and got me to the top and down safely. The crew was great and attentive and the food was very good (and plenty of it!). My pulse and oxygen levels as well as overall health were constantly monitored so I had a good idea how I was doing. On top of all of that, the pre-hike communication was great and I felt fully prepared before I even set out. This trip definitely exceeded my expectations. i would highly recommend Climbing Kilimanjaro to anyone looking to hike Kili.

My brother Nicky and I undertook the challenge of climbing Kilimanjaro to help raise money in the fight against Cancer. Having never trekked or climbed any mountain before we were more than nervous!
Thanks to Climbing Kilimanjaro we had the most incredible adventure and loved every moment of our time in Tanzania.
From the moment we decided to embark on this adventure to our descent from Kilimanjaro - we were minded every step of the way and perfectly informed. Every aspect of our trip brilliantly orchestrated and managed.

It was a really good trip. Roger, our main guide, was phenomenal and played a huge role in my summitting. He went above and beyond my expectations and even carried my bag for most of the night on summit night. I have already recommended your company, and more specifically Roger, to all of my friends who are considering climbing Kilimanjaro. Overall, the trip was phenomenal and I have no negative feedback. My Kilimanjaro experience was excellent – from the initial booking process with Nikki through to the final farewell song!

My support team were all great guys very ably led by the ever funny Rodger. He was a top guide, constantly monitoring my progress and adapting the pace to ensure that I did not get AMS (I was constantly trying to walk faster and he was always slowing me down!)

Food was good although way too much! Could have easily been reduced by half!

The hike itself was great and I had no health or physical issues, thanks once again to Rodger!

Enjoyed every part of the experience. The trip was very well coordinated and the CK team kept me up to date throughout my booking process and let me know in time when changes happened. The climbing crew was great and very friendly, and made the journey on the mountain very pleasurable. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to challenge themselves with the summit.
