E-mail hosting is nothing glamourous. It is downright boring. It just needs to work. But when you have problems, you want it fixed. And if you need to chat with someone, you really don't want some Filipino in some call centre lying to you (I'm talking about Vodien). So I had enough.

After being with Vodien from the time they bought over Webvisions in 2017 (I was with Webvisions since 2002), I was just fed up with their dishonesty and scammy style of doing business. My reviews on Vodien are on Trustpilot as well.

Whilst looking for an alternative e-mail hosting service I chanced upon CLDY.

I filled up an enquiry webform on CLDY's website. Within 10 minutes I got a WhatsApp message from John. After a few messages I confirmed the package I wanted, and my e-mail account was ported over in TWO HOURS. And that includes a lunch break!

Painless and seamless.

And - a very pleasant surprise. Now e-mails reach me within 3 seconds. With Vodien it took up to one minute for e-mails to appear in my Inbox. At first I thought it was because of my Spam Filters, but as CLDY has shown - it is because of superior hardware.

On July 16th, CLDY suddenly emailed me saying they had changed their policy and demanded that I transfer out my domain name within 24 hours. I had already deleted the website content they requested, as per their instructions, yet they still went ahead and suspended my domain name. This is completely unprofessional behavior and shows a lack of regard for their customers. I cannot recommend CLDY to anyone looking for reliable service.
