Within days of returning from our trip to Morocco, I started to look for the next trip my husband and I were going to take with Classic Journeys. Everything was wonderful. The guides, food, hotels, cultural immersion, cooking lessons etc. Very well balanced trip that provided constant activity but nothing felt rushed. We have traveled extensivly and with several companies and this one is at the top of our list.

Our Guide Alessandro was just a joy to be with. He was very skilled at assessing the needs and interest of our group. He was also incredibly knowledgeable and informative and just really fun to be around. I believe everyone in the group had a wonderful time, and to a great degree, that was due to Alessandro.

Our guides, Diane Clarke and Margaret Pearson, are passionate about the Cotswolds. The ancillary services (Leslie the driver, the docents lined up at sites, hotels, etc) were top notch. Appreciated that the group was intentionally kept small (only 15 of us). And there is nothing like a ramble thru a field of grazing sheep to calm the spirit. The trip to Stonehenge early in the morning before it was open to the general public was, for me, the highlight.

Cuba in 2026. What a trip we had! Now is the time to visit Cuba. It is safe, clean and the Cuban people genuinely love Americans. We were welcomed everywhere we went. Right now, there is a window of time where the streets are largely free of tourists. There were nine of us on our tour and we had the run of the place. The food was outstanding, the music was everywhere, the beaches were pristine and the cultural experience was one of a kind. I have been fortunate to have traveled to +/- 30 countries and the trip to Cuba ranks right near the top. Don't delay. This tranquil period will not last long. And I must say, the most important aspect of the trip that made it truly golden was our tour leaders - Audrey, Jesus and Patricia. Those three are the reason we would stick with Classic Journeys for future adventures. The three of them took a good trip and made it a once in a lifetime experience. We are blessed to have had them!

I had the trip of a lifetime on my Classic Journeys trip to Cuba in December 2025. Our tour guides Audrey and Jesus were amazing. They always went above and beyond and made the trip truly memorable. My favorite part of the trip were our daily activities which allowed us to spend time with the Cuban people. I cannot say enough about the kindness and spirit of the Cuban people. Regardless of the political differences between our countries or current events that happened on our trip (Venezuela/Maduro) they were always kind and welcoming. If you have any doubts about traveling to Cuba there is no reason to. I felt safer there than in many other popular vacation destinations.

Classic Journey's trip to Cuba was an absolutely amazing experience. Cuba is a beautiful country with old charm, rich culture, and friendly people. Our tour guides Audrey and Jesus were both wonderful, knowledgeable, and planned many extra surprise experiences. The food was delicious, the music was lively, and the memories we made are unforgettable! We could not recommend this trip enough.

My tour and experiences were amazing. Five Stars. I have wanted to go to Cuba for years. I mean it is only 90 miles away for the US and no one has been there. I decided to make it my 51st country about 4 weeks before the departure date (March 28 to April 5, 2026). I quizzed Vanessa about the political issues between the US and Cuba including the blockade of oil coming into the country. She assured me that it would not impact the trip and it did not at all. Pre trip, Emily was our customer service person who knew everything we needed to do, to prepare for our trip. She made it so easy to get my visa. What I was reading about Cuba in the news was not the reality on the ground. Our two small boutique inns had power from generators and solar. The neighborhood might have been in a blackout, but our place was fully lit including the AC. Transportation was also not affected by the lack of fuel. I lost count of how many classic 1950’s US cars I rode in. In addition to an amazing exploration of Havanna and the countryside, we were exposed to some remarkable experts on the country. We spent the morning with a photographer who had taken historical photographs of Castro, Che, and the post Revolution Cuba. I had meals and discussions, with an Economist, a Diplomat, and a Latin American tour guide author. On four separate occasions, we had private musical performance that included a wide range of music including an 8-piece chamber orchestra. There were to many great experiences to list here. Our guides Audrey, Jesus and Patricia were so personable and knowledgeable. We got to know them so well. Everything was managed to give us the best possible exposure to the country. I would recommend this tour to anyone.

Susana and Vanessa were wonderful tour guides. Their knowledge of the history of the areas we went to in Portugal was impressive and everything we saw and experienced was exactly as they had mentioned in their presentations, they were approachable, friendly, and delightful to be with.

Great itinerary and guide. Our guide was knowledgeable and very attentive to the groups' needs. The itinerary included a great balance of snorkeling, hiking (and birding), kayaking and unusual and interesting side trips. Lodging and meals were very good.

Classic Journeys has continued to deliver its outstanding Cuba tour during these uncertain times and the Cuban people are grateful for that as am I. Audrey, joined by Jesus, has crafted an enriching cultural experience that was both beautiful and humbling. Our travel group was small and bonded quickly to engage in a wide range of activities designed to immerse us in the daily lives of the locals. We rode in their classic cars, listened up close to many small music groups, ate and cooked in their restaurants, snorkeled, hiked, shopped, watched the rolling and then smoked their cigars and more. The Cubans are warm kind people and this was truly a trip of a lifetime.

Fabulous trip. Would have liked a little more down time

We did two back to back journeys. They were both great! We enjoyed the cultural aspects and the elements of the trip that were not as touristy. Food and accommodations were above average in most cases.

My only constructive feedback would be that I would have preferred more walking each day and I was expecting more options to extend walks and that didn't happen. And company booked travel on our last leg was not good. I did not like sitting in the back of the plane and would have preferred to pay for an upgrade if that is what is required.

Ending on a positive note - the guides were exceptional for both Peru and Galapagos - they made the experience exceptional.

Truly excellent tour leader (Ulisse), added immeasurably to the experience. Excellent experiences (pizza making class, Pompei tour w excellent guide, tours to villa in Capri and Ravello, dinners in Naples/Positano). Excellent logistics. Good size travel group. Only negative, take this out of the brochure: ""Breezy seaside footpaths around
Positano (with names like 'The Path of the Gods')"". I understand NOW the tours position is that this is too difficult a hike, but since Path of the Gods is frequently cited by many as a don't miss experience, in my opinion, it should NOT be mentioned at all in your tour description (to avoid disappointment and confusion).
