I've had to give one star as I couldn't give nil. I placed an order and my money was taken but no product delivered or communication from them, despite chaser e-mails. I had to resolve it via bank charge-back.

My experience has been exactly the same as the three 1 star reviews, echoing that of Simon Frith. Ordered on the 6th, money left my account. Then nothing, so I chased it up to be told the item was out of stock. No refund offered just the same item but in a different format, which I said I didn’t want and could I have a refund. Waited until the 15th until I asked for a refund again, told it would be back in my account within 48hrs.

Nothing, chased it again today, said I was fed up with the BS and have opened a dispute via my bank. And here we are at 11pm on a Friday night and the refund has appeared in my bank literally minutes after I accused them of fraud and said I’d take it up with the bank.

They're a bunch of shysters and I’d avoid the headache of dealing with them. In fact any company that calls themselves Weapons Galore ought to be avoided. I thought I was dealing with Civivi.co.uk, not a company where you can buy ninja and zombie knives aimed at Walter Mitty type fantasists. This is the sort of company that gets genuine users of knives tarred with the same brush as street criminals

Ordered on the 21st December and having not had a dispatch notification emailed Jan 4th to ask when it would be sent. Got a response a couple of days later to say a member of the team would call next day, this didn't happen. Chased them up and they then phoned next day to tell me that the item was out of stock and not available for a week. I asked for a refund and was told it took 72 hours as it was 'automated'. Despite this being nonsense I thought just go with it. A week later and still no refund. Wrote another email to tell them it was poor customer service and unacceptable and they somehow managed to speed up the 'automated' process.
Really shabby.

This company is partnered with a company called weapons galore where they sell a lot of products. It is an untrustworthy site and I have not received the items I ordered and been given a refund and the communication is appalling. DO NOT ORDER FROM ANY OF THESE COMPANIES THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS AWFUL. i still have not received the item or been given a refund to this day.

What a knife... Quick delivery

Awful experience. I ordered an £85 item and after a week there was no sign of it. I called the company and was told that checks were being carried out on certain items and mine was one of them, but it should be done by the end of that week. I said I would hold on and wait. Another week came and went, no item arrived. I called again to be told that the checks were still going on. I was disappointed that no courtesy call had been carried out to let me know that there would be a further delay. I then asked for a full refund. They agreed and said that it would be put through PayPal and would clear in 4-5 business days.
5 business days went and no refund was received. I called again and chased the refund. I was told that it would be "pushed through again on paypal". Miraculously, the next day a refund showed as pending on my PayPal account.
On the 4th business day, the refund went from pending to cancelled. I queried thus with PayPal and they advised that there was not sufficient funds in the sellers account for the refund to clear.
I again contacted the company to be told that they are having issues with PayPal and are closing their business with them. They offered a bank transfer for the refund, but as I was driving, I was unable to provide my card details, and said I would call back the following day.
When I called back, they said that they had resolved the PayPal issue and were putting through my refund again, and that i should see the refund processing that day or the next.
3 days passed and no sign of a refund. I called them twice through the day and go no answer. I felt like I was being dodged. I then called from a different number and the call was answered. I said that I have no refund and was very displeased with the service. I said that unless u received a refund within 2 working days, I will file a dispute with PayPal. He said to go ahead and do that. No apology or care that a month had passed since I first ordered the item.
Communication on their behalf was terrible and I would not recommend using this company.

Faultless Service.

I was slightly concerned about purchasing a £110 knife from an online company I had never used before. I called and spoke to a member of staff, and also emailed the main company inbox - and both times I was reassured and provided with all of the info I required.

I made the purchase (a Civivi Eleementum with Damascus blade and gold shred handles) and received my knife within just 2 days!!!! Superb service - and the tracking info I was given was spot on all the way too.
Could not have asked for a better experience.

The knife is beautiful and even better than I had hoped.

5 star performance from this company from start to finish.

Great product marred by poor follow-up customer service: no response to an email request via the Civivi website asking for information about maintaining it.

I was looking for the EDC knife and found Civivi Elementum considering the requirements which I considered as perfect edc size. So the handle is about 10 cm long and the blade is 7.5 cm. One hand opening, locking blade with liner lock. Bought the one with ebony scales and must say that this knife is more then I expected. This is almost gentleman’s knife, regardless it’s not put in that segment.
Enough to say that I almost don’t want to use it not to damage it in any way so t still looks spotless. It’s beautifully made, the eye to detail is on very high standard. Every little detail is well thought of. Ceramic ball bearing makes the knife opening smooth, it’s almost like fidget gadget, you could play with it all day just to open and close the blade. There is no rattling, no loose movements in any way. There is no marking on the blade, maybe it’s better, it’s unique in a way. The product segment is being considered as a budget knife, but I personally think that it has very little in common with this term. Even if it is, by some standards, it would be the very high end of the budget range. I can say no more but to highly recommend this knife if your looking for good looking, well made reasonably priced EDC.
