Charlotte's Charleston Bewertungen

I grabbed this linen wrap dress for a family brunch last Sunday. The fabric is breathable but heavy enough that it doesn't fly up in the wind, which is exactly what I wanted. The tie waist is super forgiving too. I will say the sleeves are a tiny bit longer than they looked in the pictures, but rolling them up once fixed it easily. I was worried about the shipping time, but Mark from their team assured me it would ship out Monday, and it did. I've worn it three times already.

I picked up the navy linen wrap dress for a weekend trip down south because I needed something that wouldn't make me melt. I was a little unsure about the sizing for the wrap style, so I actually emailed the site. Sarah got back to me the same afternoon and suggested sizing down since it runs slightly large in the chest area. She was completely right. The linen is genuinely breathable and has a nice weight to it, so it doesn't fly up in the wind. The deep side pockets are probably my favorite part. Because it's real linen, it does get pretty creased if you sit in a car for a couple of hours, so just keep that in mind before heading out. But the tie waist stays tight all day without constantly needing to be redone.

I recently dined at Charlotte's Charleston, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The ambiance is warm and inviting, with lovely Southern decor that sets the perfect tone for a cozy meal. I started with the shrimp and grits, and I must say, it was the best I've ever had. The shrimp were perfectly cooked, and the grits were creamy with just the right amount of seasoning. For my main course, I chose the fried chicken, which was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The sides of collard greens and cornbread complemented the meal beautifully. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive without being overbearing. They made sure our drinks were always full and checked in at just the right times. I also appreciated the selection of local wines that paired nicely with the food. Lastly, I couldn't resist trying the pecan pie for dessert, and it was the cherry on top of a delightful meal. If you're looking for authentic Southern cuisine in a charming setting, Charlotte's Charleston is the place to be. I can't wait to return and explore more of the menu!
