The team behind this company is only interested in doubling down on insisting that they are right, and that their customer base is wrong. They throw around names and demonstrate poor technical understanding of server and data management, as well as disregard the meaning of customer privacy and trust.

Even if they provided perfect services, their behavior in response to customers justifiably speaking out about transgressions against them and unclear AUP/TOS terms makes this company a no-go for me, and hopefully for anyone else who comes across this review.

I’ve been using CharityHost’s 500 GB HDD plan to store my stream recordings, and it’s been quietly reliable—no unexpected downtime and steady transfer speeds day in, day out. Their prices are hard to beat, and the regular promotions make upgrading or adding services very affordable. Support replies are straightforward and helpful, which gives me confidence that problems will be handled if they come up. Overall, solid service and excellent value.

On a personal note, I haven’t run into any frustrating issues so far. I’ve opened a few tickets with reasonable requests, and each one was met with a friendly, fast response and a practical solution. The plan comfortably keeps more than a month of my recordings, and I’ve never lost a file due to network hiccups. My experience has been excellent, and I’m hoping to see equally good discount offers when my plan is up for renewal next year.

When i violate AUP the provider snoop my server and found it and suspend it. But AUP said it will give 48 hours warning to resolve. The provider didn't give me 48 hours warning but asking for 25$ for backup. When i post it on LET forum, people make him realize his mistake he unsuspend me and give me time to take backup. then its resolved by deleting all Violated data. Then after 2 weeks , all scenery changed when he ask me to comment on let forum about positive side of CH. Then i refused. and guess what? i am suspend forever. So stay away from such provider.

CharityHost lied to TrustPilot and claimed my review is defamatory with many others to when 1 star reviews removed. Host is not honest and is willing to lie to look good.

Check online. Bad reviews on page 1 and even AI tells you the risks of using this host.

This review is factual. Read their AUP, they will ban you for vocally sharing a bad experience and keep your money. This violates free speech rights.

I have had a VPS with them for almost a year and I am very satisfied. They have excellent and fast support.

Charityhost has been amazing to work with. Their staff is very responsive and has helped fix any issues that have happened on my end. The servers are reliable and speeds are much faster than previous hosts I’ve used. Really an amazing thing they are doing here especially when it comes to helping nonprofits that don’t have a lot of funds to run their websites. 10/10 experience and I hope a long lasting relationship.
