Avoid this app and service. They charge extra fees. Use charge provider apps.
Here’s an example of how they are ripping people off.

The pricing for the charging session was as follows:

A one-time session fee of 0.59 EUR
A rate of 0.43 EUR per kWh (plus 0.24 EUR per minute after 60 minutes)

The charging session consumed 50.420 kWh, resulting in a base price of 50.42 × 0.43 = 21.68 EUR including VAT.

Since the charging duration exceeded 60 minutes, an additional charge of 0.24 EUR per minute was applied for 22 minutes, amounting to 22 × 0.24 = 5.28 EUR including VAT.

The total cost for the charging session is therefore 5.28 + 21.68 + 0.59 = 27.55 EUR.

The amount charged to you was 22.7691 × 1.21 = 27.55 EUR.

Facturation abusive et totalement opaque, à éviter!!!
J’ai eu une très mauvaise expérience avec chargemyhyundai.com et leur carte de recharge. Dans mon cas, les montants facturés n’avaient rien à voir avec le prix annoncé/attendu à la borne.

Exemple concret : aéroport de Lyon, une recharge m’a coûté près de 200 € sur 3 jours. Or une fois la charge terminée, la borne applique une logique normale de “stationnement” d’environ 5 € par jour, ce qui est cohérent pour un aéroport. ChargeMyHyundai, lui, m’a facturé à la minute pendant toute la durée où le véhicule restait connecté, y compris quand ça ne chargeait plus. Résultat : une facture délirante, sans avertissement clair et sans transparence.

Je ne recommande absolument pas ce service. Si vous devez charger, vérifiez deux fois la tarification réelle (idle fee / pénalité de connexion) avant de brancher, sinon vous risquez une très mauvaise surprise. Si je pouvais mettre 0 étoile, je le ferais.

The card for this MSP came with my Hyundai so I assumed it would be a good provider. However, a year in I note they not only charge a high markup on CPO charges, they even invent charges (e.g. overstay fees) where the CPO charges none. I've complained about this but they persist they are entitled to this. Avoid.

Signed up because it was advertised by hyundai as being a cheap and quick way to charge my new car.
The costs they charge turned out to be more than direct from the charger provider, so I hadn't used it.

The charge of £4.33 per month suddenly and without any contact, went up to £10 a month today and they then they charged my account 3 lots of £20 payments.

So they doubled the cost of the service without informing me, and are holding £60 for what they call a preauthorised charge to make sure I have the funds for the account cost.
They never did this for the previous monthly charges.

Called the company and I was told the funds would be released in 3 working days and tried to get me to stay as a customer. A scam company which Hyundai should stop offering

Update: Seems someone managed to clone my card and ran up a £900 bill charging 23 cars within 2 hours (what's the point of them taking the VIN number to setup an account??) and yet the person I spoke to couldn't see these charges and said the £60 of charges were for my account fee.. I had to wait until they started showing up on my bank account to realise what was really going on, and now the bank is holding £100 of my money for this company. Lucky I was able to freeze anymore payments being taken!

Shocking. I uploaded this app after advice from Hyundai garage. I set up payments cos pay pal and my bank. Then informed that after no changes payment was not taken 3 months later and twice changing my bank details for no reason payment was taken. Absolutely shocking service and can’t wait to delete it and go elsewhere

Worst app I’ve ever used. Signed up in recs of the dealer and added my pay pal card. Paid for the first payment as I normally charge at home. Second charge it rejects payment to I re add. The account is locked down and I change yhe details. Now wishing for this charge to be paid and I’ll close the account.

Totally unreliable

474 kr for at lade 34 kWh, det er for dyrt. Sidste gang at jeg bruger chargemyhyundai. Virker nærmest som der er fejl i afregningen.

Absolutely terrible service , used one of the charger to charge and app didn’t work at all ! So ended up using my credit card to pay directly and was charged . A week later this terrible company charged me again same amount . Contacted them several times explaining the situation even showed bank statements of double charge but refused to refund saying it’s not their fault and I need to take it with the charging company even though it’s them who has charged and invoiced me incorrectly.

Have been paying €13.00 per month to get cheaper per-unit pricing with IONITY.
Received my last bill and was charged flex rate because my 12-month contract has finished.

I received no notification from Charge My Hyundai that my contract was expiring, no notification that my price per unit would change. Instead I was told that I am expected to remember from March 2023 that my contract would expire and to renew it.

Total rip-off and unhelpful support staff.

AVOID at all costs.

There is a serious problem with the ap which they have to solve.

They charged me for a transaction that wasn’t mine as it failed to terminate once I finished and disconnected and drove off.

The next customer to the charging station connected up and got a full charge billed to my account..

The company have billed me for that charge and refused a refund.

BEWARE OF DOUBLE CHARGING by this organisation.

Lidt dyrere end ellers - man fantastisk hvis man lader hjemme og kun sjældent skal lade udenbys.

Ekstrem lange svartider fra helpdesk (+2 måneder). Når svaret endelig modtages er det inkompetent og uden indsigt i problemstillingen. Jeg vender aldrig retur til servicen.

Helddesk funktion er helt hen i vejret - man fornemmer at der sidder et ungt menneske et eller andet sted i Europa uden de store kendskaber til produktet og svarer i øst som man spørger i vest

Fik oplyst at man kunne få Premium gratis i 12 måneder. Dette var så ikke tilfældet og nu vil de ikke annullere min aftale og henviser til deres betingelser. Jeg kommer aldrig retur.

Was informed that you could get Premium for free for 12 months. This was not the case and now they will not cancel my agreement and refer to their conditions. I will never return
