Awful Experience, Would not Recommend

Our experience with ChargeBee was disappointing from day one. Their sales team is overly aggressive and pushy, constantly offering discounts to get you to sign as quickly as possible. Once you’re handed off to the implementation team, the real nightmare begins. The support team is highly unqualified and lacks the expertise needed to ensure a successful implementation.

On top of that, they start charging their monthly fee from day one, regardless of whether you're live or not. We ultimately had to cut them off before even going live because the implementation was going nowhere.

Despite our genuine intent to use the product, we ended up paying $2,000 for something we never got to use—all due to their failed implementation (plus, they'll stop answering your emails to avoid having to deal with you).

Would not recommend.

Chargebee was instrumental to the success of our migration

Chargebee supported our (online beauty) company very well during our migration of payment providers for processing PayPal. The teams were very responsive and thorough, they knew what needed to be done and they guided us through it. We would not have been able to do it that efficiently without them!

Bad Customer Experience (Both business / personal)

Looking for subscriptions? Don't go to Chargebee. Difficult to communicate with this company and customer service. Migration for a simple bunch of customer is taking months and after 3,5 months we are not able to go live with Chargebee.

Experince with Chargebee overall

Chargebee has been incredibly helpful in tracking our purchases, providing clear insights and streamlined data management. Its integration with our CRM systems was seamless, with little to no issues during the process, making the onboarding experience smooth and efficient. Additionally, the retention software has proven to be comprehensive and practical, offering a wide range of features to support our customer retention efforts.

That said, the tool feels somewhat detached from the customer's journey. While it excels in backend operations, it could be improved by aligning its functionality more closely with the real-time customer experience. Overall, it's been a valuable asset to our team, and with a few enhancements, it could be even better!

So charge bee as far as i am aware is a middle man for helping to take cash on a website. Longtail pro is no longer in business and there chargebee page is still up still taking cash from people. Note there has been no service since last year. You can't cancel because longtail pro are no longer in existence. You are taking cash from smaller individuals here who cant stop the payment. I had a chat with there customer service and explained what was up and they said take it up with the provider? This was repeated twice. Like i know you have to make cash but talking cash from people who are not getting anything. So i looked at the other reviews for chargebee and customer service does not exist well yes i agree. I will also report this to my bank. "Could you please reach out to them directly to resolve this matter?" No there is nothing working apart from your payment page. it has chargebee on it. i told them this explained and this is what was siad "I understand the situation. Regarding your payments, would it be possible for you to reach out to them directly to help resolve this matter?" Maybe there chat is just a bot i don't know either way terrible in so many ways. This is also why i have left a chargebee a 1 star review. In customer service if you can't look after people i don't know why you are still in business?

Customer centric Billing platform

Chargebee is at the forefront of providing subscription management services that are in demand and also innovative when it comes to the rest of the players in the market. Counting my recent and specific experience, Chargebee brought in a feature to map records across integrations with the help of a simple csv upload, previously which used to be handled through support.

Given this new update to integrations, it has saved us significant amount of time and helps up link records faster than before.

I am hopeful Chargebee keeps coming up with such innovative features in the future making it an even better choice.

The tool is super easy to use also the support team is spot on their clear informations with proper images and article redirection helped me to set our customer portal properly also the response time of their team is amazing.

Highly dependable, scalable and enable success

Hear this from the CFO! We have been on Chargebee since 2021 and added their revrec addons. The apps and services are very dependable and overall they are instrumental to the success of our business. Integration and reporting are also top-notch.

No support for loyal customers

We've now been customers for almost 5 years and Chargebee is unable to solve the most simple technical requests instead of solving issues they try to validate their price increases. They will charge you for created invoices regardless if they got paid or not because the most important thing is that they get paid first. For 5 years there have been almost no recognizable improvements. They're constantly updating things without giving any notice or heads up which causes operational chaos. Their salesforce integration simply doesn't work.

We're completely frustrated with the service and we likely will leave the platform. We can't recommend chargebee to anybody

Awesome features + customer support

Great customer support. Tech stack is great for businesses that are esp. moving out of Xero. Can handle a lot of customisations. They have something called atomic pricing pages which is awesome. Overall - the customer support in particular was a great part of our experience with Chargebee.

Without a doubt, Chargebee gets a 10/10 from us!

We've been using Chargebee for over 3.5 years, and it’s been a game-changer for our business. The platform is incredibly user-friendly, with intuitive reporting tools and powerful bulk operation features that make our workflow seamless.

But what really stands out is their fantastic support team. Whether it’s a quick question or a complex issue, they’re always right there when we need them. We’ve submitted dozens of support tickets in these past months, and they consistently responded within 10 minutes FRT and resolved everything within a week at most. Plus, we are always assigned the same support rep for all our tickets, which makes problem-solving even faster since they already know our needs. Kudos to the ops team for building this robust ticket-routing logic!

Chargebee’s team is also open to feedback, actively considering new feature ideas from us and offering helpful workarounds if a feature isn’t on the roadmap yet.

Without a doubt, Chargebee gets a 10/10 from us!

Great product! Great support!

In my experience, Chargebee offers a great billing product. In addition to a great product, they also offer world-class support! Any questions I had about the product and issues I ran into during the initial testing of the product were answered quickly and with detail.
