Terrible company with terrible…
Terrible company with terrible services. If you can avoid them please do it. They have so many different names like efficienthomeenergy but is the same company with same people. Two engineers have visited our property and we had 2 different reports. First engineer destroyed our boiler heater controller so we had to find electrician to fix this. After two reports I got a quote from them for repair services "replace the socket for £55 all inclusive , this is including re-certification and a new socket face" but actual work was "to upgrade the consumer unit will be £590 all-inclusive and we will give you a free 5 year certificate and also fix the broken socket in this price" This was after I ask them if they have read their reports! We get another small family run company which did a great job without replacing consumer unit. Please avoid this company if you can!

I would like to address some of the inaccurate comments made in your review.
Firstly, we do also own different companies that specialise in different areas. Efficient Home Energy covers the energy certification services such as gas and electrical works. Certify My Property specialise in fire services. This information is publicly viewable.
Secondly, your comment about destroying your thermostat is false, your certificate was carried out in October 2019 and since then we have not received a phone call, email or any other communication stating that you have had a thermostat broken.
Finally, we carry out certification services at the request of our customers, if there is an issue found we notify our customer of the issue and if there is a request for remedial services we would act on it. You had a second electrician visit your property from a different company who did works however wasn't qualified to certify the works, you then asked if we could install an RCD in your box and recertify. Your fuse box isn't made to have an additional RCD installed.
Fuse boxes/consumer units are designed to contain a set number of RCDs. The only option in your case is to have a new fuse box installed if you want an additional RCD. This is not a necessary upgrade as your certificate would be satisfactory because the socket has been changed.
In addition if you did want to go ahead with installing a new consumer unit with the additional RCD we offered to re certify for FREE and repair your socket for FREE as a gesture of goodwill.
We are slightly confused at why you would want to provide a 1 star review, I think there has been a communication issue from your side.
