SCAM! Impossible to Cancel!

I paid 50p for a personality test. I got in only hours later and did not get the results. I took a IQ test, and then checked the subscription plan. It says £39.99 will be taken off my card in 2 days, and every time I click on the cancel button, all it does is unsubscribe me from the mailing list, but says my account will be active for another 2 days. I will update you if the £39.99 will be taken off or not!

J’ai payé 0,50 € pour accéder à un test de QI, sans qu’il soit clairement indiqué que cela entraînait un abonnement.

Deux jours plus tard, j’ai été prélevé de 39,99 € sans en avoir été informé de manière explicite.

Il s’agit clairement d’une pratique trompeuse : l’abonnement est dissimulé et le consentement n’est pas éclairé.

J’ai immédiatement fait opposition auprès de ma banque et demandé un remboursement auprès du site !

Je déconseille fortement ce site.

Scam.

the test is a good concept, but i went to do my test and got charged 50p which i agreed to pay but i never agreed to sign up to a subscription that cost £40 i didnt know i had got scammed that money untill i went to check my bank and it said £40 had been taken out, make it clearer that their is a subscription, stop scamming.

Very frustrating.

Very frustrating.
I took the test, then payed $1 for my results. The website automatically signed me up for a monthly subscription, but in such a way that you can’t even tell unless you read all the fine print. I am hoping they will give me a refund.

S.C.A.M!!!

Please trust me when I tell you, this is a SCAM. They advertise it as free, then charge you 50p to get your bank details and if you don't read the T&Q they will surprise you with a monthly $39 charge. You have 48h to unsubscribe. After getting charged I decided to do the IQ test, turns out my usually 140iQ is 0 here and they recommended to sign up for other services to improve my IQ. Read my personality test, apparently I'm an extrovert. I literally have to recharge after social interactions, they drained me. Whoever runs this page, you really should be ashamed of yourselves, you're a thief

The plot is thickening. I asked them to cancel my subscription on the same day (48 hours window) but they still charged me for it. I asked them for refund, hopefully I'll get it. I have all the time to write honest reviews about the service, do your worst

Reported this company to my bank for an unauthorised payment from my bank account of £39.90. My bank has agreed to refund me, but that is beside the point. It is basically a scam to persuade you to give them your bank card details😡

Not free. Never agreed to subscribe

Initially thought it was free but was I willing to pay 50 cent .Now I’ve been made aware that after paying 50 cent people are getting monthly charges . I immediately went to Unsubscribe section where it states no charges should be made after unsubscribing yet after entering my email there’s was no type of confirmation email sent leaving me with the uncertainty that I’ve been unsubscribed at all . I’ve emailed the only email I could find on the site info-Certifiediq.org and have not received a response. I’m 16 and extremely frustrated and confused with the lack of clarity on site and support services available.

I strongly advise against subscribing…

I strongly advise against paying for this service. it was only supposed to be a one off payment of 50p I then discovered three unauthorised transactions on my account of £39.90 in one month—charges I never approved. Unfortunately, it took me two months to notice them on my statement. I contacted customer service on the 15th and was told the issue would be referred to the refunds department, with a promised follow-up by Monday, 19th May. That follow-up never came.
A week later, I called again and was met with a rude and dismissive representative who offered to refund only two of the charges as a “goodwill gesture.” I had to push back and demand the third refund be included—which is completely unacceptable given these charges were never authorised in the first place.
To make matters worse, these unauthorised deductions have caused me to accrue interest and negatively impacted my credit rating, as I have a fixed monthly repayment setup on my credit card. I’m now combing through past statements, concerned this may not be the first time this has happened without my knowledge.
If it happened once and slipped through, who’s to say they haven’t tried this before? This experience has left me feeling completely let down and extremely cautious. Please be vigilant.

Very misleading and devious

Very misleading. They make you sign up to their subscription of £39.90 per month in order to see your 1 result. Which they sneakily imply you can cancel within 48 hours however, hidden in the Ts and Cs it states the transaction will be taken after 48hours. Essentially they have charged me £40.40 to take a 10 minute IQ test. I’d highly recommend to stay well clear of this devious company.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

You sign up for a 99p IQ test, hidden in their T&C's is a clause that they will then charge you £39.90 2 days later.

Clause 10 of their terms and conditions states that you can ask for a refund within 14 days and receive a response within 48 hours and full refund in 72.

4 days later I am yet to receive a response or a refund.
