CEDR is a good baseline service to help …

CEDR is a good baseline service to help cover the basics. However, it should be noted that they (1) do not guarantee their work (i.e. Employee Handbooks; and (2) they are not easy to reach when help is needed (partially due to the time difference, and partially due to their system). The communication can seem slow and not efficient. When I've mentioned this to their staff members, a few have been "snarky" in their replies, and more or less told me to "take a number" . . . . Not appreciated, I can assure you.

We actually do promise our members a response back within 1 business day, and also guarantee satisfaction with our handbooks. This has been our policy since our company’s inception. However, Human Resources is not an exact science, and requires weighing risks and options against human interactions. As a result, we join other professional service providers in that we cannot guarantee our guidance on specific employee issues. We empower our members by providing practical solutions and the benefit of our expertise. We also have added additional hours to our Solution Center in the last year to further accommodate our East Coast members, and are always looking for ways to improve our ability to connect with members in a timely way. Excellent Experience

We've had an excellent experience with CEDR Solutions from day 1. We've received amazing response times and excellent HR advice. The training resources are also helpful but I'd like to see more webinars.

I can not recommend CEDR Solutions …

I can not recommend CEDR Solutions highly enough! Navigating the ins & outs of running one's own business can be demanding to say the least. Knowing that I can rely on the experience and expertise of CEDR has been a huge relief for myself. They continue to improve their accessibility online and they are also always available to chat over the phone with a friendly and helpful person.

EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE

EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE!
We have had great service from CEDR. The usual turnaround for hr requests is 24 hours but if I have a hot potato, they get back to me very quickly. Their people have been nothing but professional and have proven to be a great resource for us. We consider them valuable partners in our growing company!

Great but getting a bit expensive.

As your prices increase, the amount of value that we think we're getting for the money spent is decreasing. Granted, our office hardly calls in for help, but curious if you could price your service differently for those who don't call in as often. That would help. Otherwise, one more fee increase and we may have to consider HR advice elsewhere.

In the past couple of years, we have focused on expanding our ancillary offerings, such as an online HR resources portal, a cloud-based document storage and delivery platform, an online HIPAA training course, as well as online timekeeping, most of which is included in your membership at no additional cost to you. We have also been focused on ensuring that our HR guidance and support remain innovative and world-class for our members. As such, our prices have been raised modestly to accommodate these new offerings and remain competitive in this market. I deal with the problems first...

As the Office Administrator, I deal with the issues first and take the larger problems to the boss but not before contacting CEDR to get their advise on the matter. Then when I present the issue, I have logical, legal, objective, advise to present to him along with the problem. Keeps us both happier.

New partnership, but great service!

My practice very recently began to partner with CEDR to develop a new employee handbook and supplement our in-house HR resources. So far, the CEDR representatives we’ve worked with have been attentive, professional, reliable, and easy to talk with about our needs. Our experience has been short, but excellent so far!
