Read the reviews., many mention how great that a golf cart is included. You will note very carefully a golf cart is essential in getting to and from Avalon. A taxi is $23 each way plus tip, wait time 10-15 mins. So before booking confirmed that a golf cart was available. On arrival there was a cart in the allocated space so pleased to see it was available. However when I tried to use it to go to Vons to get some supplies, nothing is provided, it would not start as the battery was flat( I’m an engineer with 30 years in automotive industry) annoying but an easy fix. I called Amber to explain the problem and suggested she got someone out and I would get a taxi. She was hostile and went into lawyer mode essentially saying the golf cart was supplied free of charge and under no obligation to fix it. I said for $600/night I thought it should be, her response was to ask me to leave. 6pm at night and pouring with rain. I contacted Airbnb for assistance, seems they had no success and I got a full refund, then left. It was a horrible experience that left my wife very upset, came for a “Dream Vacation” to help my wife recover from major surgery. More like a nightmare start. Amber has no concept of customer orientation. There is another report where she asked a young family to leave because of a broken tap….

Peter , you never stayed in our villa and still felt the need to write a nasty review. We are sorry you have these feelings and always try to make everyone happy as you can see in our many 5 star reviews. It is always difficult when guests cause damage, but we try to be understanding. The good news is cart works perfectly fine and guests can also use Catalina Taxi or circuit. Wishing you the very best.
