I have had 3 meetings so far with casting talent, the agents were very welcoming and supportive throughout the process. They explained everything to me about the industry because I didn’t have a great experience from other agencies. They clearly told me about how the industry works. It was a really great experience, I am looking forward to getting my castings.

My experience was made exciting and easy as everything was explained during the process. All questions big or small were answered clearly and correctly. Everyone I’ve spoken to have made me feel comfortable and understanding and happy to have me join.

We narrowly avoided paying Casting Talent Online money.

Casting Talent Online is not a registered UK company.
Their advert in the Guardian newspaper was linked to BCT Consulting, also not a registered UK company.
Their communication is carried out by mobile phone and texting only suggecting the use of burner phones. They do not have an email. Their testominals when researched show names that are often not real. They do not publish any numbers of successful assignments. You will not be invited to their offices as they dont have any, but to their rented REGUS office. You will be pressure sold opportunities within just a couple of days subject to you agreeing to pay for a portfolio. Also Note that the majority of reviews on Trust Pilot are from reviewers with only 1 review and who have been 'invited' to make the review. These are all red flags.

I would not advise joining if you cant communicate by email, see their address, be sure they are a registered UK company as any money you pay them will not be traceable.
If this is all wrong then casting talent online can reply to this review with their REGISTERED COMPANY NUMBER and REGISTERED COMPANY ADDRESS for transparency or their company structure and their email address as the one provided has an untraceable IP address.

Regarding the registration status of our company, Casting Talent Online, we would like to clarify that we are a sole Trader company. A SOLE TRADER IS A BUSINESS NOT A COMPANY AND AS SUCH YOU SHOULD PUBLICISE YOUR NAME

As if by magic a raft of single reviewer reviews have appeared within 24hrs of this edit raving about how wonderful the agency is, although the Guardian have now removed the advert. If its too good to be true the it probably isnt true!

The team has been very helpful and informative throughout the entire process. As a newcomer I did not know much about the industry so it was lovely having such great help.

Very friendly and welcoming company. They make you feel at home. Additionally, the waiting time before someone attends to you should be reduced if possible but in general they are great people to work with.
