I am pretty excited to be part of the team. My overall experience so far has been very pleasant. I haven't received any jobs so far but that's because it's early days. From the very beginning the staff have been very welcoming, attentive and informative. They are very straightforward and honest about how the industry works. I have been very happy with everyone I have met at each stage and I am sure there will be many more to come.

Really professional job made by Casting Talent, everything was really good explained, and I'm looking forward to work with them in the future.

I was invited for a interview with the group. I have worked as an extra for many years and this company seemed incredibly suspect.

When you arrive you will be showered with compliments. “I love your eyes” “your accent is so unique” “you have such a great speaking voice”

As I went through the process I was more and more skeptical. I knew where this was going. At the end of the interview they said I would need a portfolio and that it would be best to book it with them. During the interview the price mentioned was £400, later when they called me back when I was approved the price it was £450.

This type of scam is as old as the industry. They say they’ll be happy to represent you but you have to purchase something from them.

Sometimes it’s headshots in this case a portfolio.

Any job they are offering you you can find on your own with a few clicks on Google. Don’t fall for this.

Each meeting with the casting talent team has been smooth and I’ve been informed on the whole process of how things work so I’m really confident to start booking jobs!

So far I have really enjoyed my experience, I have had no difficulties understanding the process as everyone I’ve worked with has been extremely helpful and friendly. I am grateful and super excited to see what’s in store for me next.

I have been with casting talent for almost 8 months now. Casting talent has been fantastic in representing me as my agent. My agent has been in contact with me from first day. Last week I just got my third audition. I was provided all the guidance and props from my agent. I couldn’t be anymore happy with them. So far I have been booked for 2 jobs. It was very overwhelming when I did my first audition. As a complete amateur I didn’t know how to self tape which is quite common practice and was really nerve wrecking for me. But my agent made sure to explain and guide me through each and every step. I am looking forward to more opportunities. Thank you Casting talent.

I honestly don't know how casting works. Zero experience. So there is a chance that my review may be wrong, however i highly doubt it.

Casting Talent UK is a scam company. The first red flag is the way they treat people on the first interview. The potential employee is given a form where they need to write about their body characteristics and talents. You can LITERALLY write that there is not a single thing (singing, dancing, sports, etc.) that you're good in, and yet when you go in to the interview, you are showered by compliments.

After feeding your self-esteem with all this praise the second red flag shows up - the promises of good money. Straight away the interviewee is told about payments of up to £1000 in one day. Mmmmm, sounds delicious, right?

And then, obviously, you are told that YOU are the one that needs to pay first. For a portfolio. Again, in order to hook you, it is mentioned that there are no worries, there is no need for a portfolio in the first six months or so (after all, what the hell would you put in it with no experience?). Miraculously, during a conversation the six months become two weeks with IMMEDIATE pre-payment.

So here we have the three typical scam steps:
1. you're told you're awesome
2. you're told that you'll be making huge money
3. you need to pay first (but told SPECIFICALLY that no contract would be initially provided, by the way)

On top of that there were a few other red flags:
- Urgency. The interviewee is asked to make a decision on the spot, straight away. If asked to be given time, pushed to make a decision within hours. No explanation for the rush
- There seems to be a huge miscommunication within the "company". You can arrange an interview and receive a message asking you to arrange one. You can be provided by a name of an interviewer, but then clearly show signs that the name is unfamiliar (asked by a colleague - 'Interview with Kerry? Who's that?')
- Some weird phrasing such as 'Congratulations, you've passed all our tests'... there were NO tests.

Out of curiosity me and my wife will now try and search for jobs as extras or photo models and see if this kind of crap is a common practice, but come on, i REALLY doubt it

Reliable and genuine agency. They are a professional agency that take pride in their work. I would highly recommend the agency.

The whole experience so far is amazing, even thought it is my first one and I was made very comfortable since the beginning. Step by step guidelines given on every interview so far, which makes the process simpler than expected.

One thing with casting talent they don’t sell you any form of dreams they are straight forward with everything and let you know what’s what and they give you as much information in detail that is needed for you very lovely team to work with I’m on next stage and waiting to be assigned to modelling manager and hopefully soon start to get some casting list sent to me
