Our food menu offers something for everyone, from breakfast favourites like “The Banger” – a brioche bun filled with Welsh pork and leek sausages topped with a rich marmalade – to vegetarian options such as “The Halloumi”, featuring pan-fried halloumi, egg, and tomato chutney in a brioche bun. Lunch classics include a traditional BLT, our House Burger with American cheese, lettuce, and pickles in a brioche bun, a vegetarian burger alternative, and our popular signature house fries. During the day, we place a strong focus on health-conscious drink options, making us an ideal stop between lectures or after training. Our menu includes protein shakes, matcha, and quality barista-style coffee, offering nutritious, energising alternatives to traditional soft drinks, with non-alcoholic options always available. In the evening, Cardiff Met SU Bar & Kitchen transitions into a social space, serving a range of spirits, draught beers, and wines, alongside a full selection of soft drinks. Whether it’s a relaxed night with friends or a Students’ Union event, the bar offers something for everyone. As the heart of the Students’ Union, Cardiff Met SU Bar & Kitchen is a place to eat, meet, and unwind. We are also available for private hire on weekends, making us a flexible venue for socials, celebrations, and events.

We have recently had our daughters 21 st birthday party at the Centro bar it’s a fantastic venue, easy parking ,disabled access, smart bright interior the staff are excellent , I don’t have a single criticism, great venue

A great venue with brilliantly priced drinks. The staff were great on the lead up to the night and incredibly helpful on the actual night. Everyone said how much they liked the venue.

We hired the venue for a 30th birthday party. Jordan and the staff were friendly and helpful and ensured the night went smoothly. We were given plenty of time to set up before the party began. Lots of our guests commented on how much they liked the venue and the cheap bar prices went down well!
Would definitely recommend to others and would use again in the future.

We recently hired the venue for a surprise 60th birthday party and it was fantastic! The staff were so helpful and the whole thing ran smoothly. I was able to get quick answers to any questions beforehand and everything was set up to our requests. Highly recommend!

We had our wedding party at this venue. The staff & security were so friendly and helpful. The drinks are reasonably priced. The venue is modern and super clean with plenty of space for our 150 guests. This will be our go to venue going forward.
