Do Not Trust This Company With Your Health
Twice now, Capsule has delivered Schedule II controlled medication with missing pills. The first time I received 27 pills instead of 30 and, rather than taking responsibility, they insited the mistake was mine and that they could not replace the missing pills. I explained that I do not need the pills replaced, am meticulous with my medications and that the correct amount had not been delivered, but they essentially shrugged their shoulders.
Two months later, it happened again. This time I received 29 pills instead of 30 and, once again, I was assured that I was mistaken. Refusing to be gaslit a second time, I asked how they could explain tablets that were never delivered. I was told their Pharmacy Manager would contact me.
After 22 days and multiple follow-ups, Pharmacy Manager Mel finally called. He asked me to explain what had happened and, after I spent all of 15 seconds doing so, sat in complete silence. Eventually I asked, “Are you still there?” His response: “Sorry, I didn’t know if I was allowed to speak.”
It felt less like discussing a serious issue with a Pharmacy Manager and more like speaking with a pouting, immature 12-year-old. I jokingly asked whether I should say “over” at the end of each sentence, to which he replied that it “would be very helpful so I know when to speak.” He then offered to transfer my prescription elsewhere. The entire conversation lasted less than 90 seconds.
The lack of professionalism and seriousness on display was astonishing, especially considering we were discussing repeated pill count discrepancies involving a Schedule II controlled substance.
I would strongly urge people not to trust this company with their health. They cannot count to 30, they refuse to take responsibility when errors are raised, and their own Pharmacy Manager lacks the maturity to handle a basic conversation. If they cannot reliably count pills, why should anyone trust them to ensure the correct dosage or even dispense the correct medication?
Most concerning of all, there is still no explanation for the missing tablets. Did Capsule make a counting error? Were there failures in their controls? I still don’t know, because nobody at the company appears interested in finding out. Capsule seemed far more concerned with transferring my prescription elsewhere than investigating why this happened twice.
Your health and wellbeing are too important to place in the hands of people who treat these issues with such alarming indifference.
Cancellation without explanation
Extremely frustrating experience with Capsule Pharmacy. I received a notification that my prescription was ready for checkout, which understandably led me to believe the medication was available and my order was moving forward. Less than two hours later, I received the following message:
"Capsule here with an update on your recent order. Unfortunately, your medication is unavailable from our supplier and we do not have an availability date. We cannot transfer this prescription to another pharmacy due to state regulations and recommend you ask your doctor to send this prescription to another pharmacy."
So after telling me my prescription was ready, Capsule canceled the order and essentially left me to start the process over elsewhere. There was no explanation for how a prescription could be marked as ready and then suddenly become unavailable within hours, and no effort to provide an estimated timeline or alternative solution.
The delivery experience is also disappointing. Delivery windows are often long and inconvenient, and same-day delivery is almost never available despite being a major selling point of the service.
Customer service only adds to the frustration. Most communication happens through vague text messages that provide little useful information and make it difficult to get clear answers. When you're dealing with important medications, reliability and transparency matter. Unfortunately, Capsule failed to provide either in this situation.
I would not recommend relying on Capsule for time-sensitive prescriptions.
great company and great customer…
great company and great customer service!
pharmacists have way too much control…
pharmacists have way too much control in this state. It should be illegal to withhold a valid script from a provider for a patient and make them suffer. Inexcusable. Your behaviour is disgusting and degrading.
From On-Point…to Horrendous Service!!
Sometimes on point—sometimes horrible!!! Even my insurance company said they were putting through prescription requests the wrong way. They’re ok with leaving you without meds for weeks, due to their own willful disregard for both procedure—and humanity.
Finally a pharmacy that delivers
I am in nyc and have had nothing but timely and courteous experiences using capsule. Even their old school bike messengers are courteous! Not something I would expect in ny. I was so tired of inconsistent and unreliable service from most pharmacies that I have used. This was a pleasant and welcome surprise. I would highly recommend them!
I absolutely love using Capsule
I absolutely love using Capsule. They have been a game changer and I no longer deal with rude pharmacy personnel, problems with receiving and renewing prescriptions. There’s no difference for costs. I cannot even say enough positive things about them. Thank you!!!!
The pharmacists make up own rules; ignore doctors…
The pharmacists ignore doctors directions, holding medications hostage without cause. DONT USE! Especially if your health is poor, don’t let them make things worse!
Shady
I'm having a horrible experience with Capsule Pharmacy, which is also known as ClearRx and Capsule Corporation. I was treated at Affiliated Dermatology in Old Town Scottsdale this week and this dermatology practice has some kind of shady deal with Capsule Pharmacy that all of the scripts are sent through ClearRx to Capsule. Capsule is seemingly refusing to send my script to the CVS pharmacy that is across the street from my home. Instead, Capsule/ClearRx sent my script to an Albertsons that is far from my home. Capsule Pharmacy is also far from my home. I have provided them the address for my CVS pharmacy several times. It's like they are holding my script hostage.
Don't use Capsule for timely medication
Doctor ordered timely medicine through prescription - don't hear from Capsule for 18 hours re same-day delivery despite calling multiple times. Finally reach someone who says they don't have my prescription, which definitely was sent to them. Shortly after that they text me saying they don't actually have the medicine in stock and to use a different pharmacy. Will never use them again.
I’ve Used Capsule for Years
No major issues with Capsule. They usually have delivery slots that work for me- although I would say that the hour windows are pretty large. This can be a problem because Capsule Delivery folks are so nice, but don’t give you more than a 60 second warning before they arrive.
I know most people aren’t really gonna be sitting by their phone for four hours waiting to jump up and run to the door. I work from home so it’s not a dealbreaker, but I wish they would give you more warning or a smaller delivery window before they show up.
I am currently waiting 3 days for…
I am currently waiting 3 days for insulin. Capsule didn't call. I have zero insulin right now and they will not deliver during a time when I am home. Be aware!!
After reading several reviews
After reading several reviews, I sort of wonder what all these complainers are talking about…..? For one, I personally made the choice to switch my prescription to Capsule because live in LA and I don’t currently have a vehicle (yeah yeah, crazy I know. But I’m in a great location within walking distance of anything I could ever need and if by chance I need to go further…! Hey, Weymo! Always a driverless vehicle beebopping the streets of the city willing to scoop me up and take me where I need to go! But I read people’s reviews saying: (in the nasal-est voice ever) “omgggg like im not ever satisfied unless i have something negative to say and im just itching post it here for the negativity lovers like myself to read, to heck with Capsule they even have a sneaky way of sneaking in a tip to the total right under your nose! Get it together Capsule. I have never once in the year or so I’ve been using them have had anyone try and sneak themselves in a little tip. No, definitely not. I have only had one major issue with them and it was more so with an individual employee, not Capsule in its entirety. If you’re like me and live in a big city and the idea of one less errand appeals to you, yeah I’ll recommend Capsule.
Repeatedly fail to deliver.....
Repeatedly fail to deliver when they said they would. Intolerable hold times when you try to contact customer service. Why? Why did my doctor switch from Alto to these clowns? Either Alto or CVS are MILES better than this garbage. As others have said, 1 Star because I'm not allowed to go lower.
Giving 1 star because I can't give ZERO
Was home sick, used Teladoc. They offered Capsule, "free delivery to home" which sounded great bc I felt too horrible to go out and my husband was out of town. I even pre-registered on Capsule with my insurance and payment card before the script was sent to help speed up the process. They don't tell you until AFTER they take your payment that it will be THIRTY-THREE hours before you actually receive your prescription. Not helpful. Will never use again.
Great for Me in NYC
All I can say is I've been using capsule for more than a year now and the experience has only been positive. Only one time I needed to call support, and I was shocked how responsive they were over the phone. Much better than going in person to a pharmacy.
Don't do this to yourself...
I have been using Capsule for over a year now due to my OBGYN office telling me I had to in order to receive the proper discount on my medication. If it weren't for my desperation to get this medication, I would not use Capsule. I do not recommend this service or website to anyone. Every order I make has some issue tied to it (I only have ONE medication through this service). Capsule has wiped my medication information more than once from my profile, leading to me calling the OBGYN nurse to try and convince her to please resend my script. This has happened at least twice now. I just logged on tonight because I saw I was running low on medication as they haven't texted me in a while (normally, Capsule will send a text saying when it's time to renew or order again). They somehow put my medication on a rotation to where I am locked out of purchasing it for another two weeks, but I only have one week of medication left. So, I now have to beg my OBGYN office yet again for more help. The delivery drivers for Capsule are not great with customer service either... You select a desired window of time, leave a tip, and they still do not have any good communication with you. My last order was over 2 hours late as I had to stay up past 11pm to grab my order from the delivery person who provided no explanation or communication as to why they didn't deliver in time. Capsule also does not provide any links to leave a review, so I know THEY know they are doing a poor job. I hope to find a better medication delivery service in the future. The stress this website constantly leaves me is insane. Every time I need to reorder, I brace myself for a bad day.
Incorrect orders since April
My order has been wrong since Capsule took over the right dose pouch. They keep requesting medication, which I have told them 6/7 times now that I do not take anymore, but it still keeps getting added to my pouch. As for inhalers, they keep requesting them every month even when I have told them this is not needed, and I get the same response "We will sort it for next month"
I have had enough!
Kick out providers
HORRIBLE. GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER BEFORE YOU START
Someone from Capsule called me to confirm my order of 3 meds instead of 2. I confirmed 3 medications. They delivered 2. The delivery times are a bit inconvenient also. They are not every hour like you see in the commercial.
I messaged them about the missing medication. No response. Consequently I had to order from my other pharmacy and refill it. It became a waste of time.
A month later, they now have refilled 2 of my prescriptions without my approval. They didn't do the 3rd one. They didn't even notify me the prescriptions were ready. The medications have been sitting there for a week. I called my pharmacy. They had to call Capsule to cancel the orders.
CAPSULE PEOPLE - WHAT ARE YOU DOING?
No response. Poor execution all the way around.
