Sept 12, 2026 I had a technician from Capital Appliance Repair examine three appliances that were not working. Two of them were resolved immediately. The third appliance, the washer, needed parts to be ordered. He told me it might take up to six weeks. I had to leave a 50% deposit of the total cost. I paid $204 as a deposit. I wasn’t comfortable with this arrangement and agreed to it once the technician assured me that my deposit was fully refundable.

By November 2025 the parts had still not come in. I called them five times during the period of November 2025 to January 2026 but the story remained the same. The parts had not come in.
Finally I called on April 20 and I asked for a full refund of the $204 deposit. At no time from September 2025 to April 2026 did anyone call me from Capital Appliance Repair to give me a status report on the parts.

During the April 20 call, I was told that of the $204 they would keep $80 for a service call. What service call I asked? No one came to my house with the parts and no one called me to let me know of the status order of these parts.

After checking my credit card statement for April, I realized that they had given me a $92 refund of the $204 deposit paid back in September 2025. So first I’m assured of a full refund, then it’s a $80 refund, then they give me a $92 refund. Does anyone know what they’re doing over there?

I’ve just called again this morning to tell Capital Appliance Repair that I want the full refund not just a partial refund. No one has been able to explain the reasons for a partial refund. The person who took my call this morning said he would have to speak to his manager. I said I would like to speak to the manager myself, could he please put me through to him or her. His answer? That it wasn’t possible as the manager does not speak on the phone. I find it very unlikely that a manager cannot speak or will not speak on the phone. Now I am waiting for a call back from this manager.
I’m very dissatisfied with Capital Appliance Repair’s customer service and will never recommend them to others.

Our dishwasher was not turning on properly and we called Capital Appliance Repair. Technician Vitaly came and diagnosed that it needed a new pump. He professionally gave us options and we chose to put in a new pump since this dishwasher has been amazing in all the years that we've been using it! Since it's an older model, we had to wait for the pump to be sent from Calgary but he explained that and we were fine with it. The pump came after 10 days or so.

Vitaly is an excellent technician and we would not hesitate to use the company again in the future!

I had an issue with my LG stove and Capital appliance repair came within 24 hours - diagnosed the problem and came back today to re-install the part. Service was impeccable, friendly, economical and fast. I will keep their number in my phone for any future issues. You cannot go wrong with this company-

Our trusted technician, Viktor, arrived on time. We'd requested him since he's already "dealt" with our LG washer on a couple of occasions. It took a while to figure out the source of the 'noise'. A difficult choice to let our 16 year old machine go versus major overhaul costs. We value the explanations, options and solutions proposed by Viktor.

The freezer part of my fridge was working erratically. Capital Appliance Repair sent a technician on the next working day. Yuri approached the problem thoughtfully and professionally; he was very good at explaining what was wrong and what had to happen, and he showed me the burned-out part. He returned the next day with the replacement part and all is well. I would definitely call Capital Appliance Repair again, if I have another problem.

Very successful repair service by Olag. Arrived early, straight to work, diagnosis, briefing and courteous choices for solution. Took Olag’s advice. Return visit with parts the same, early, courteous, excellent conversation, no nonsense but sincere. A refreshing positive experience with repairs completed in 48 hrs. Thankyou Olag……

I called on a Monday morning for an appointment to fix my Subzero Fridge. The appointment was made for that same evening between 5:00-7:00pm, the repairman actually showed up! He was courteous, knowledgeable, and the service was reasonably priced. I highly recommend Capital Appliance Repair.

I found the company and their repairman Muhammed to be efficient, knowledgeable and dependable. I contacted the company in Vancouver on Friday August 15th (2025) about my 5.5 yr old Fisher Paykel fridge's ice maker not working. Muhammed arrived the next day, on Saturday, diagnosed the problem: I needed a new ice making part which he had to order. He also suggested what I could do myself with the fridge if I wanted to see if I could avoid the $500 parts and labour charge. I decided not to do this but I appreciated his suggestion. Muhammed ordered the part, called to ask what time would be convenient for me and on Wednesday the 20th he came and installed the new ice making part. I would employ this company again to repair my fridge or any other malfunctioning appliance.

I call them 3 weeks ago to repair my freezer the technician came he opened my freezer and he said it’s a fan is not working took him a minute to find the problem
He ask my permission to order the parts and told me the price 450$
I agree to it and he said he will come in 4 days
Didn’t come I called the said we ordered wrong part
After week I called again they sent someone
He opened my freezer this time unscrew everything and said
I got wrong part and left he didn’t close my freezer properly
It’s making weird sound like something is not properly closed
I talked to the lady there who picked up the phone few times
Instead of saying sorry for the inconvenience
They sound rude to me
I don’t recommend

Capital Appliance was amazing. They showed up super fast, very reasonable costs and George was great to deal with! I would highly recommend this company.

This company claimed to do an assessment and quoted for a part. We asked to go ahead with the repair and they confirmed that they were ordering the part for our oven. We followed up twice by phone in the following two weeks and were told the part was ordered and they would be in touch when they receive it. After trying to get in contact multiple times we were ghosted by the company and thus have ended up paying for an assessment that went nowhere. They essentially lied and took our money for an assessment and then disappeared. WOULD STRONGLY RECOMMEND FINDING A DIFFERENT COMPANY FOR YOUR REPAIRS.

Excellent service and response time! The technician (Pavlo) showed up at the appointed time. He did meticulous work, and took the time to explain what he was doing.

Michael (apologies if that is spelled incorrectly) did a great job repairing our clothes washer. He arrived as scheduled and did prompt work.

Contacted the company to repair a broken Whirlpool cooktop stove in Orleans, Ont. The company was fair and honoured their appointments. Service was done quickly and my tenant was very satisfied. Good job!

Arrived on time, were efficient, professional and thorough. Did not suggest any repairs at this time so no upselling and was only charged service call out fee.

Replacement of burned-out igniter on an LG gas range. Service was reasonably on-time and effective. However, replacement was a generic (probably $25-$50) and I was charged top dollar (from LG quoted $230). Then expected full payment on the spot $550+ for 40 minutes work. Promised invoice and receipt. None came. Called once, twice and three times. Three times I got promises to send invoice. Still waiting. Shabby and shady business practice.

At first I was appreciative of this company. They can out same day within and hour of me calling. When the tech arrived he said he didn’t speak English. I had no way to communicate the problems and the company had not told him. I called the company and they assured me he was great and they would help me communicate. An hour later after the tech just ran the washer through cycles he presents a bill for $358 to me. I asked him to leave and said I was not paying that. I called the company and said I was not paying for work I didn’t approve and he didn’t do any work. The tech refused to leave and sat outside my house.I called the company and said I would call the police in 5 minutes if he didn’t leave. This company is unprofessional and shady. Stay away.

Moji was our service provider in Vancouver and he was wonderful. He arrived promptly and was clean, knowledgeable and efficient. He is a real credit to your company.

The repair person was extremely polite.
When we told him what had happened he knew what items to test for failure. He replaced the defective parts explained what had happened and told us what parts he replaced .Before leaving he tested the oven to make sure it functioning properly ire everything was working properly. If I ever have another machine break down that you service I will definitely use your company again
