The only one using slander is you. You act like a child. Still no refund received either. Even though you didn't have the product you charged me anyway. Based on the response from the company below where they clearly say , nothing is out fault ,.you are a bit thick. I have reduced my rating. Don't use this store. Horrible customer service, no proper descriptions of products online. Then to be told it's all my fault. Of course you didn't mention the bit where you refunded me but gave no explanation as to what product wasn't coming to me. No offer of a replacement product instead, nothing. Good luck keeping customers.

Ordered 4 products. Nothing got despatched for 3 days, then it finally gets sent and I get a notification email saying I've been refunddd 5 euro but doesn't even tell me which product. Also a simple email to me asking if id like a replacement product instead would have been appreciated but no I just don't get what I ordered.
Also descriptions of products on the site are horrendous. I bought these fruity drinks thinking ot was a powder you add water to. But no just a shitty full of sugar fruit flavoured pouch. Basically a much un healthier Capri sun. This was my first and last order. Also 4 days for delivery from Galway to Leitrim?? I can drive that in two hours

They say Disney world is the happiest place on Earth but that’s because they have never been to Candyland! It’s not just about the products (which are amazing and very well priced) but the staff! They are incredible and can turn a bad day into one with hope, laughter and faith in humanity. Thank you ☺️

Recieved my order from Candyland this afternoon and was delighted to have it waiting for me when I got home. Everything was packaged expertly and I know whoever packed it had a kind smile on their face as they did it!

Me and my friend came in, in a good mood, just looking to grab some of our usual go-to snacks. While walking around, my friend’s bag accidentally knocked over a stand of lollipops. He picked them all up straight away, no issue. We were laughing at the clumsiness of it, nothing more.

When we went to pay, the man at the counter decided to scold us for laughing. We thought he was joking and laughed again, only for him to throw our items to the side in a fit that looked more like a toddler tantrum than customer service.

He then refused to serve us and demanded we leave the store—apparently, enjoying yourself is a crime there. Instead of handling it like a professional adult (for example, asking us to pay for damages if needed), he chose to act petty and hostile.

After this ridiculous display, I will not be returning. If that’s the attitude he shows to paying customers, the shop deserves every bad review it gets.

Candyland in Galway is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with colour, fun, and the friendliest team you could meet. The staff and manager are such wonderful people — always kind, welcoming, and ready for a great chat that makes the shopping experience feel so personal.

The store is always stocked brilliantly, with an incredible variety of American candy and treats you won’t find anywhere else. No matter when I visit, the shelves are full, and there’s always something new and exciting to try.

I love it so much that I actually travel into Galway just to shop here and enjoy the atmosphere. It’s more than just a store — it’s a happy, vibrant place that puts a smile on your face every time.

If you’re ever in Galway, do yourself a favour and stop by Candyland. Amazing people, amazing sweets, and an amazing experience every single time!

As it has been stated before, one star is too many for Candy Land Eyre Square Galway. I have been treated with utter disrespect.
I knocked over a small stand of lollipops by accident and instantly threw everything that was in my hand on the floor to pick the lollipops back up, as any respectable person would do. Me and my friends laughed it off and we move on and go up to the counter to pay for the 3 things we had chosen. As soon as i'm at the counter i apologise instantly with a kind smile on my face and the cashier quickly snaps at me and tells me that it is a no laughing matter and accuses me of not apologising when it was the 1st thing i said to him. He then Proceeded to pick the 3 items up from the counter and throws them over at the till and tells us that he would rather us leave than be served.
I have been to this shop many times and i have been in many different shops, but not once have i felt more worthless and disrespected as i did on that day at Candy Land Eyre Square Galway.
To any one who is thinking of going there, don't waist your money and time with them because they are nothing but mean selfish people working there.

Ordered on Friday and delivered today 😊 even with the bank holiday 🙌 will definitely be ordering again, so easy to order as well 😊

Fantastic services - I ordered online and the delivery was very fast(within 2 days), I did receive one wrong item, however, the lovely staff had that sorted straight away and my correct item was delivered to my house soon after. I couldn't recommend them enough for your sweet treat needs.

I placed an order sunday evening, it arrived tuesday middday. Delighted. Its 4 days before Christmas i may add. I have placed my second order after finding more items that will make very unique
self made selection boxs as gifts.

Ordered over a week ago paid 3 day postage not received, emails ignored! Spammed I guess, gone though bank to get refund
Pretending our order was fake! Seriously!

SCAM

Ordered some American Candies and Gums. The delivery took less than 48 hours. Happened to go to Galway recently where I saw this store first. Quite impressed with their online deliveries as well.

The elderly man is very rude. He came up to me rudely assuming I was recording a video, not even asking me if that was the case. I appreciate politeness and I was excited to go in there and show my friend on the call the stuff there. Nothing wrong with that, I was planning on buying a heap of stuff. If he had at least asked what I was doing and said it politely, I would not mind. In speaking with a group of friends after the incident I was told they also had a rude encounter with him. Really disappointed. When they were in the other location, I'd always chat with the lovely younger staff member. Although I definitely won't be going again. I'd never DREAM of speaking how he did to a customer.

got 100euro of vouchers for the shop for my kids. cant use them online only instore, yet the shop is closed. i would not trust this shop. Years later they respond, to be clear when the vouchers were bought we were told we could use them by sending an email and collecting. Yet you try to make my comment out to be unreasonable. Trust is something that is earned.

The best in the Biz . Speedy delivery and a joy to deal with . Great company and products. Only place in Ireland that I can get alot of my favourite stuff
