I had called the hotel directly to…
I had called the hotel directly to confirm reservation details only to find out that while I had already booked and fully paid for the trip through hotels.com - the hotel had no reservation on file in my name.
I then had to spend valuable time with a hotels.com agent imploring that I receive the same reservation needed that I had already paid in full for.
This is the THIRD time hotels.com has not just messed up but destroyed our travel plans.
I am on the verge of never using this app/website ever again.
Rebeca the customer service agent was helpful for the long amount of time I had to spend on your customer service line.

Hotels.com gives you all the options! It gives you a total breakdown of fees and rates…so you are not surprised at checkout time or when you get to the property! I like the rewards that is offered! Booking process was easy!

Inaccurate pricing
The final price was not what was described. Price said it included taxes and fees but when confirming booking, it shows additional taxes not included. Also, on two separate bookings, right when I hit “confirm booking” I got message about real time updates and my price increased!?…. Not a coincidence when it happens twice…
Would have researched to try and find better deals or discounts but time was a factor and I could not.
Will try using again for our next reservation, but if same issues happen we will not be using in future.
