Extremely disappointing experience. Website issues, poor support, migration problems, and refused refund
I recently moved my website and business emails to ByteX Solution, and I genuinely regret this decision. Since day 1, I have faced one issue after another. What was supposed to be a straightforward hosting migration has turned into a stressful experience that has affected my business website and email communications.
1. Website downtime and recurring technical issues
My website started experiencing problems shortly after the migration. Despite repeatedly contacting support, the issues continued. I experienced recurring errors, website access problems, and periods when the website was not working properly. I had to keep chasing the support team for updates and solutions.
2. Business emails failing to reach Outlook.com
My business emails were not reaching Outlook.com recipients. During the conversation, I was told that the shared server IP was blocked. This created a serious problem for my business communications. Reliable email delivery is essential for any business, and I did not expect to face such problems immediately after moving to a new hosting provider.
3. I spent approximately 9 hours manually migrating 24 email accounts
This was one of the most frustrating parts of the entire experience.
I had to spend approximately 9 hours manually transferring data for 24 email mailboxes from my previous hosting provider using Thunderbird. This was time-consuming and exhausting, especially when I had chosen a new provider expecting a smoother migration process.
Now, ByteX Solution is offering me StackCP and asking me to move my email data and accounts there again. This means potentially repeating migration work that I have already spent hours completing.
I asked their team to handle the migration, but they refused to do it without charging me extra. This is particularly disappointing because their website clearly advertises free migration. I expected them to explain any limitations or additional charges upfront, rather than leaving me to deal with the technical work myself and then asking for another migration.
4. Refused my refund request despite my willingness to compromise
After experiencing these problems, I requested a refund just 3 days after moving to their service. They refused to provide one.
I even offered a reasonable compromise. I asked them to deduct the cost of 2 months from my payment and treat that amount as a tip for their team, then refund the remaining balance. I was willing to accept that deduction simply to resolve the situation fairly and move on.
Despite this offer, they still refused to process my refund.
I find this extremely disappointing. I have spent hours dealing with technical problems, chasing support, manually migrating emails, and trying to get my website and business communications working reliably. Instead of resolving the situation, I have been left feeling trapped in a service that has not met my expectations.
5. Poor communication and lack of a satisfactory resolution
I repeatedly asked for progress updates and approximate resolution times. I explained how much stress the situation was causing and how badly the problems were affecting my business. Yet I continued to face uncertainty and recurring issues.
This is not just about hosting. My website and business emails are critical to my daily operations. Every hour spent troubleshooting these problems takes time away from running my business.
My experience with WP-Arena was much better
I previously used WP-Arena for approximately 6 years. My only major concern was the 10 GB email storage limit. I wanted greater flexibility, so I decided to move to another provider.
Looking back, I regret that decision. I would rather have stayed with WP-Arena and worked around the storage limitation than deal with the website problems, email delivery failures, migration difficulties, poor support experience, and refund dispute I have encountered with ByteX Solution.
My recommendation to other business owners
Think carefully before moving your business website and emails to ByteX Solution. Ask detailed questions about server reliability, shared IP reputation, email deliverability, migration terms, and refund policies before committing.
I chose this provider to improve my hosting experience. Instead, I have spent approximately 9 hours manually migrating 24 mailboxes, faced recurring website and email problems, been asked to pay extra for migration despite the advertised free migration service, and been refused a refund even after offering a reasonable compromise.
I am extremely disappointed with this experience. I expected professional hosting and reliable technical support. Unfortunately, that is not what I have experienced so far.
