Sent my N64 off and was back to me in perfect condition in a few days. Very impressed with the soldering, communication even at 7:15 am :D and I am definitely (when I can aford it ) sending a couple more consoles in the future. I can't recommend any higher. If you want something done don't hesitate.
You can see by my other reviews I take no prisoners and for a change I'm happy :D.

After a trip to the US I had brought back an RF NES top loader needing some work to get it going on my PAL TV. James did a brilliant job installing an RGB kit and expansion audio mod. What a brilliant service from start to finish. James was very responsive to emails and very knowledgeable. Fixed a faulty Panasonic Q for me that was having front button issues. Would highly recommend, James will be my go to for retro and current console fixes.

I would 100% recommend James, I took my ps5 controller to him as it was drifting badly. James fixed it really quickly and I was able to pick it up the next day. It's as good as new.

Had a PS5 HDMI port repaired in which James was able to reply and receive the console on the weekday and repaired it quickly the following week.

Excellent professional service

Very quick and helpful response, James was able to replace my Kindle battery sucessfully and at a great price. Very pleased to have found him! I will definitely use him again for any such problems. It was very helpful that he was situated close to me so that I could drop off and collect my Kindle rather than have to post it.

My first install using James' services was for an xbox modchip (Open Xenium) which was fine. The 2nd mod was for something not listed on his site, but I asked if he could upgrade my PS1's 2MB RAM to 8MB (I provided diagrams and pictures as well as the 4 x 2MB IC's required) this was additional to x-station, x-reset and a DFO (dual frequency oscillator for import game colour timings). He was happy to oblige and did a very neat job installing them all. I wouldn't use anyone else's services.

TLDR: Fast, fair rates, great level of communication, everything works, better alternative products pointed out to me so I could change the quote, I don't know what more could have been asked for.

I emailed to ask about a quote, expecting a delay because of jury service, there are no delay, what I thought might take a couple of days + a week because of civic duty took less than 24 hours.
I changed the quote, the new one came very quickly, accepted, paid, and less than 5 days from James receiving the amended quote received my goods in the mail.
It all works. At every step of the process James told me what was happening, when I asked for something to be purchased for me for the unit, he said he could, but offered my an alternative product that I didn't know about and prefer the sounds of.

Just received my original xbox back from James, it's perfect. The communication was amazing and I'm very happy with the services. Will happily use James again for different consoles in the future.

I contacted James about a mod that wasn't listed on his website, and get got back to me quickly to let me know it was something he could do, and how much it would be. I shipped the console to him, and had it back a week later, and I'm very happy with the results. Will definitely be recommending him for mod work to anyone I know who might be looking to get some done.
