I ordered a 6" standup of my granddaughter to put on my desk. I look at it everyday and love it! I want to order another of my second granddaughter. The quality was great and it arrived very quickly. Also, happy support things made in America.

I was in a rush to get some cardboard cutouts for my brothers graduation and Build a Head came through! Really fast shipping. I was also happy to see that the cutout felt more durable than previous companies I've used in the past. I'll be using them again.

I ordered 2 large heads for my son’s graduation and it was a hit! Both were high quality and everyone loved holding them. My son was able to see us better in the crowd and thought they were hilarious (we surprised him).

I would give 0 stars if it let me! Ordered and paid a lot for shipping to get order for senior night and never received and Jeff could care less ! Go to Fatheads.com its a company that has an amazing product and arrives on time!

I had a deeply concerning experience with this company.

I ordered custom cupcake toppers featuring my niece. The package arrived with her face printed on the exterior shipping label and was sent in clear packaging, making her image fully visible during transit. At no point during checkout was I informed that a minor’s image would be displayed on the outside of the shipment or exposed publicly in this way.

This is not a minor packaging oversight — it is a significant privacy and safety issue involving a child’s likeness.

When I contacted the company, they acknowledged discontinuing the packaging but refused a refund or reprint. Instead of addressing the seriousness of publicly exposing a minor’s image without consent, their response focused solely on product customization policies.

The lack of accountability and dismissal of legitimate child privacy concerns was extremely disappointing.

Parents and customers ordering products featuring children should proceed with caution and clarify in writing how images will be used and packaged before placing an order.

Only giving 1 star because 0 isn't an option. We paid for guaranteed shipping within 3 days and the items didn't show up on time. When asking for a refund I'm getting 2 paragraph long emails complaining about how them refunding even the shipping is a huge inconvenience on them and how they won't see that money back and that's why they can't refund me for the rest of the order which I didn't receive in time to use. I also never got any shipping notifications from them at all. Terrible customer service, shipping, and product. I read reviews on another site and they also stated that it's common for products to not show up on time. Pay more money for the same thing elsewhere, this company will steal from you and then claim it's an inconvenience to them.

My second time ordering from them. The first order was fine, the second order was a disaster. I ordered 6ft, paid over a hundred dollars. A gift for my niece. It arrived 3ft and not cutout..
They said my picture was too wide, so it had to be smaller. I said It’s not cutout… there are white corner pieces and strips that must be cutout. I haven’t heard back from them, yet. The craftsmanship looks very tacky and trashy. I’m very disappointed and won’t be buying their products again, if they don’t correct this mess

The quality was atrocious. I have previously ordered "big heads" from Fatheads and expected a similar qualify. I ordered 18x12 and got smaller than 11x11 on flimsy paper. I contacted support and they will not issue a refund. (I do not want a remake although they didn't offer that either)

I ordered 3 pictures for my son’s graduation and they sent me pics of another child that was not mine. Customers service sucks

spent over $150 on mask and got all different sizes when it says 18” so i thought i was getting 18” or close to it i got 3 that where and 7 that was anywhere from Aiden and a half inches to 15 and that was only because the hair was long. I emailed them and they respond twice with the same BS about some policy didn’t try to fix it. They just act like they did not care worthless company do not purchase it make your own mask these are cheap as hell. worse experience online so far company needs to learn how to solve customer concerns but read them policy

Ordered a 6' tall cutout and required a digital proof. While I was traveling overseas for work, they disregarded my digital proof requirement and sent a 2' cutout due to the width, which they do a poor job of informing you of, knowing you requested a 6' tall item.

Their site doesn’t work very well, so if you’re a novice user and don’t do a lot of “tech” stuff, you’re probably not going to have a very good experience. There is no way of knowing what you have uploaded and what you have not. All I wanted was (3) 5’ cutouts. I started this process LAST WEEK!! Additionally, it’s impossible to get a hold of anyone to actually help you. They have no customer service number. Instead, you text a message to the chat and maybe in the next hour they will EMAIL you back a response. As if I have nothing better to do with my time that to be hovering around and waiting for emails to come through so that I can finish what I’m trying to do that should only take all of like five minutes.

Same problem as other complaints--smaller size than advertised. Here is response I got:

"As stated on our site, the dimensions listed are the max printable area. The final cutout size may vary based on the width of the cutout subject. Just like your photo having 2 people affects the height."

Think twice before ordering as I got a much better product at advertised height from Party City. If it will vary...then why do you have specific inches listed with accompanying prices???

Actual size was nowhere near the promised size. Customer service took so long to respond that any reprint wouldn't make it in time. Management was dismissive and blamed their printing problems on us and flatly refused to refund. We ended up printing large shots at Walmart and cutting thin foam backings. They turned out better and were cheaper overall than buildahead.com.

The site works and the heads get delivered but they aren't nearly the size promised. I ordered 2 ft size and they are only 16 inches in the widest direction. These were high resolution photos taken with a 40+MP camera that could be the size of a wall.

Over paid for what I got.
