If I could give 0 stars I would. They have been unresponsive when trying to get a refund for the event THEY canceled. They rescheduled to a full year later when I won’t even be in the state. Waste of money. I would never buy from them again. Please do not buy from them.

This event was extremely disappointing. I had no idea that we would be running in a field at a farm. Traffic was backed up with no police or anyone helping the situation. When you enter, it’s $20 to park that they put in a Walmart plastic bag that is filled to the rim. No security at all. It was supposed to be a 5K. It was not. It was a little over 2 miles, one water station at the halfway point. I would not recommend to anyone This event was located in Dade city Florida on October 4, 2025.

The parking was a rip off! $20? Those who organized it should be ashamed for charging that amount given it was horrible parking to begin with. The grass you had to park in should have been mowed. It was literally past your ankles high and wet.
The disorganization was unbelievable! From the VIP Line to watching them setting up at the last minute.
Our "wave time aka start time" was 8am as conveyed to us by the organization. Please they weren't even ready at 8am and then it did start it wasn't a staggered start but rather a big push of people and children. Very unsafe!
Lets talk about how unsafe the course was. Full of tall thick grass and ruts. Someone could have broken an ankle.
Not all of the overhead bubble machines were working at 100%.
The course advertised as a 5k 3.1mi. Not even, just at 2.1. So this unorganized group had false advertised the event.
As we came under the finish line arch (being held up as an inflatable tube) it began to deflate and collapse on the participates.
This Group/Organization should be ashamed of themselves and what they put on today.

Now they are deleting all negative comments on their Facebook Page. What cowards and scamers

I wish I read the reviews before signing up and going to a Bubble Run event. Like others, the event was advertised as “free” but quickly added up to quite an expense in fees, in addition to $5 to get a piece of paper with a number on it (which doesn’t do anything since they did not have equipment scanning bibs and nobody was keeping times), and another $20 to park in the middle of nowhere in grass that was 3 ft long and needed to be cut. The race was approximately 2 miles despite being advertised as a 5K (3.1 miles). This discrepancy is unacceptable. Do not give them your money and avoid ANY events by Cool Events LLC, Bubble Run, or Mud Runs. They all have the same feedback. If you don’t care to pay for a “free” event and be charged extra fees and don’t mind the race being significantly shorter than advertised, then by all means - these events may be for you.

The run was short. I usually walk it with family and it takes us about an hour. We were done in 25 minutes. We didn't speed up that much. Parking was $20 & you had to pay an additional $5/person for I have no idea what it was for. Ther were few bubble stations and NO colored bubbles even though one of the bubble stations said something like "Isn't she pretty in pink". I asked why no colored bubbles and was told they ran out of dye. The run started at 8:00 and it was 9:00 with no signs of any pink bubbles ever being there. It just seemed bland and the short trail was a huge disappointment with such few bubble stations. It felt like they just cut the entire path short and it was very noticeable.

How can I put zero. It was advertised as a 5k that had free registration. Still paid $37 for insurance. I paid back in June and the run was today and I had not received an email of any info or updates since paying. Apparently you have to show up the day before to get your “race packet” which is only your bib. Since we picked up the day of we had to pay $5 dollars each and waited half an hour. Parking is $20. They had port-a-potties for the restroom and they were set up at an inclined angle and every step you made it would sway. When trying to wash your hands at the stations set up there was soap but no water. The advertising for this even said 5k but that was a lie. We only ran 1.6 miles. The entire even was poor communication, poor planning, and a strait up lie. Do not bother signing up for this at any location.

Gave 1 because 0 doesn't exist. Unbeknownst to most people you were supposed to pick up your bib the day before. They didn't let anyone know. My wife paid 37$ for "free registration", tax, and insurance fees. I paid 20$ for parking then another 10$ for the "Run Packet" (only the bib). Porta-potties unsteady and moved when inside. No water for hand washing. We waited in line for 30min after race started just to run with trails to congested and thin to pass people. Advertised as a 5k but was only 1.6 miles. Truly a disappointment and a waste of money! People's kids got in the way a lot but that's not the Company's fault.

Race was half of the advertised distance with few bubble stations. Packet pickup lines were excessively long and event day was very disorganized.

Registered for the Anchorage event, they advertised “free registration” but charged a “venue and event fee.” I know the person who runs the venue and he thought it was odd that they’d charge that as the cost to them for the venue is extremely minimal. The event was then cancelled all together and it seems as though there are not refunds from other reviewers. Will update if they happen to refund me

Signed up in 2023 for the event in Virginia Beach. 3 weeks before the event they canceled it. I've emailed and messaged and never gotten a response. Their email doesn't even work anymore. Nothing but a scam

Don't waste your time and money! My first time was a blast! My second time, they canceled on us. No refund, no communication. I've tried their customer service. No F'ing reply! So irritated. I will Never Ever recommend this as I did in the past. Unbelievable!!!!

Event was scheduled in February but changed to the end of June. In Las Vegas temps will be over 100 degrees then. They have a no refund policy.

There is no contact telephone number and they do not respond to emails.

They advertise registration is free but then charge a processing fee.

Overall it feels like a scam.

Can I give zero stars? Super disappointed that bubble run and activedotcom are scamming people while advertising that it is a charity supporting childhood cancer research! Hilo, Hawaii event today was cancelled with no notification and they don't allow refunds! I bought tickets and the refund insurance for $78.84.

I wished I knew that this was a scam. I wished I had researched it before purchasing it. But everyone here is saying the same thing that happened to me. I paid for the event and they cancelled it 2 weeks before it was supposed to happen. They never contacted me about a new event. It’s been over a year and nothing. But guess what? They’ll immediately send the contract to a credit card company if you dispute the charge since a service was never provided. But they’ll ignore you if you contact them directly. They refuse to refund you money when they don’t hold the event or notify you about it. Never sign up for this. Clearly they scam people all the time based on the other reviews.

My wife and I paid for a bubble run last December anmd it was “postponed” but there we were never given a new date. I’ve spent the last year trying to find out how to get a refund with no success. I will never give this company any of my money again.

I purchased Run for 7 in May and the event was canceled and rescheduled for tomorrow. I paid $25 for them to fed ex me the race packets and as of tonight nothing. I made 7 total attempts to reach them to see what happened to my packet via email on their customer service form on their website, on Instagram, On FB, on messenger and on their official website. You would think we would get some kind of response but nothing. I even contacted the Pomona Fair Grounds to ask for a contact number or if they could reach them for me and have them call me. I was told to use the customer service form. I had a "word" with them too as I told them I did do that and Fairgrounds is redirecting me back to something that I did and did not work? Finally I got a response from Bubble run email tonight stating they have no idea what happened to my packet. They will waive the $5 fee for pick up and will give me $25 in merchandise credit. Ok...but who will pay for the inconvenience of having to wait in long lines to pick up on race day? That was the reason I paid extra! Would I recc this company? NO! Poor communication. Lacks professionalism. Don't let people use messenger if you don't have anyone even attending to it. I feel the same as most reviewers on this page..they want your money. As leader in a scout organization, I would not recc this to any of them.

I still have not gotten a credit or a refund from the event that was canceled in Irvine 2023. We contacted them many times to get a credit for 2024. NOTHING

I had signed up for a run, and unfortunately the bubble run was rescheduled and I was unable to attend, I let them no way in advance I could not make it. I requested a refund and emails quite a few times and never received a reply or a refund. Ver disappointing

They canceled the event in Irvine stating admin issues beyond their control, but are not offering a refund. Instead, they are offering a credit for another race in 2024. I'm sorry, but if you are going to cancel an event, you need to give the option of a refund.

These people take your payments and leave no valid contact information to get oyr money back when they cancel the event two weeks before the event date. A suit needs to be filed against them.. I request a refund because they recently cancelled the Virginia Beach event two weeks ago and have not notified anyone bwcause the event was supposed to happen this weekend. You guys need to jave integrity and return people their monwy back, you have committed fraud.
