Your husband called up on the 1st July to report an issue with the blind motor – Our Operations manager discussed and arranged a site visit under warranty and explained it would be a few weeks and it had been logged properly into our system. Your husband asked if we could email acknowledgment. An email to Mr Cravitz was sent the same day to say the warranty had been raised and the following day with an appointment confirmed for Friday 18th July 2025 to attend.
After seeing your surprising 1 star Review and before we have been able to attend although it had been confirmed as a booked appointment and Mr Cravitz was aware, following your email 10th July requested a call after 3pm Our operations Manager called after 3pm as asked. Our operations manager then explained to you the above had been acted on and said we would forward all communications to you and your husband and confirmed the appointment over the phone. Our team forwarded all previous emails and reconfirmed your appointment for Friday 18th July as per our telephone call. You then called the office and said you were asleep when we phoned and didn’t write the appointment down! You then also replied to our email saying “received”. Then you left the 1 star review!
We are sorry but you are not making it easy for us to assist you with the problem and we are endeavouring to make sure your blind motor is attended to in the most efficient way we can.
We have done the utmost to make sure communciations were made and it seems we have not fallen short on this.
We look forward to seeing you as per what had been agreed from the early reporting of the issue.

At each stage everyone was helpful from my visit to your showroom which had lots of samples to pick from , then the home visit for measure up at which stage I was given a price which I was happy with to the fitting which didn’t take long I had 3 Venetian blinds fitted and I’m very happy with the service and quality and look of my blinds

We bought six electric blinds for our…
We bought six electric blinds for our conservatory roof - concertina'd and double skinned. The finished product is very pleasant to look at and are well made. The electric motors make the blinds simple to operate. We're not sure they have made a huge difference to the high temperature in the south facing conservatory but it is very hot at the moment. Conversely, it will be interesting to see heat retention in the winter.
Fitter was considerate and a tidy worker.

Patio Pergola
The whole process from the first visit to the installation was very good and would have no problem in recommending you to anyone. We had a small delay in the fitting of some grommets to cover the bolt holes but this doesn't affect my overall views. Very happy.

communication blip
All was well except a blip in communication. the delivery was delayed and we were told. Again the delivery was delayed due to the delivery company, we were told did not fullfill their promise and deliver, but had assured Broadview Shading that it would be delivered the following day and Broadview said they would let us know if the delivery had been received. They did not do so. They previously said that installation would happen on the following Friday, having heard nothing for the past 2 days I went down to the showroom to find out what was happening, only to be told it was out for installation. When arrived back home sure enough 2 chaps were in the process of installing it. We are very happy with the awning and appreciate that the delay was not the fault of Broadview Shading, only the lack of the confirmation of arrival and installation.
