Took my gravel bike in for a pre winter tune up , and then picked it up 2 days later with the work complete . The work done has been too a high standard and will see me through the winter and probably onwards. Great traditional cycle shop with very knowledgeable mechanics. Definitely take my business there use again.

I tried to order a saddle and pay by paypal. The site requested all my personal details before allowing me to proceed (but not bank details luckily). These should not be needed if ordering through paypal. Then when it finally got to payment - the paypal message said: this retailer cannot accept paypal payments at this time. This is not encouraging and I am not happy that they have harvested my personal details. They may just have a poor website but take care if ordering on line. I cannot see any reviews from people who have ordered on line

Had a great experience with Broadribb Cycles in Bicester.
My son needed his BMX checked over after building himself. We tried taking to Halfords first who told us they were to busy to do a check over at 9:30am when there did not seem to be to many people in the shop.

I asked if there was another local shop in Bicester, and was recommended Broadribb's. Gave them a quick call to see if they could take a look at the BMX and told me to pop it in whilst we were still in Bicester.
Upon arrival was met by a technician straight away who inspected the bike and told me what needed to be checked. We needed brake cables attached and a new lever and a safety check which the guy's at Broadribb's Cycles did a brilliant job on.

The bike was finished by Monday and they even went the extra mile to arrange delivery to my work as I could not get to shop in the week due to work hours. My son was extremely happy with the BMX and I can't thank Ian and his team enough at Broadribb Cycles in Bicester.

I phoned ahead and discussed having some repairs and adjustments made to my sons mountian bike. When we arrived a very nice young man who was working behind the counter assisted us. While we were booking in the bike, another employee was repairing a bike in shop area. While waiting I saw a new bike that was similar to my sons - it is his birthday in a few days, and I was planning on upgrading his bike rather than repairing - while I was looking for a price, the person who was working on the bike in the showroom, very rudly shouted at me and ordered me to move away. I was fully aware where he was working and - in my opinion - was nowhere near him or the bike.
Well, I am not one for rudeness and swiftly decided to take my business elsewhere.
My son now has a brand new 2.5k bike.
If you are in Bicester TREK bikes at the garden centre we're absolutely amazing.

BroadribbsCycles is the place to go for cyclists. Excellent service, lovely friendly staff and nothing's ever too much trouble. From buying a bike to servicing and any problems, the staff will get it sorted. I have used this shop for years and never had any problems and wouldn't go anywhere else.

Bought a brand new bike from an Online Retailer. It arrived just before my cycling holiday so I donated my old bike through Re-Cycle to Africa but then had some initial troubles with extra fittings. 'Phoned Broadribbs and they said 'Oh Dear. You can bring it in right away and we'll try to sort it'. Not only did they sort it within 1 hour but gave it a thorough safety inspection and noticed the brake levers were connected as per EU covention not UK so swapped them. All done expertly with a smile. How cool is that!

Had my bike serviced along with my wife's and they both feel better than new to be honest. I did have an issue with the new brake system fitted, but to be fair these guys upgraded my whole brake system and could not apologise enough and worked speedily to rectify the issue, really pleased with the efforts and level of service and the fact they are clearly passionate about bikes and customer service! Would certainly recommend and rest assured I will be back... Thank you

This week I have been on a 540-mile cycle ride from St Davids in Pembrokeshire to Lowestoft in Suffolk - furthest west to furthest east. Passing 5 miles from Banbury on day 5 I had a major mechanical problem and was stranded on the roadside. I googled bike repair shops and Broadribb Cycles came up. Luke was in the shop on his own at the time, but had no hesitation when hearing about my problem to close the shop for a while, jump in his van and come and rescue me.

My friend and I, plus two bikes, were soon back at the shop where Luke's extensive range of parts and mechanical expertise had the problem fixed in a couple of hours. Despite being really busy Luke was determined to get us back on our way as soon as possible. I needed a new rear wheel as a pin had broken in the hub. Luke had this in stock despite my Dawes being a 20-year-old model. Luke then insisted on thoroughly cleaning my dirty chain and sprockets before finalising the job, to ensure the bike's performance was as good as possible. Amazing!

I cannot thank Luke enough for his courtesy, his great technical knowledge and really good value for money. This is the best support and service from a bike shop anyone could wish for. You couldn't better that amazing response if you went to every bike shop in the UK. Broadribb Cycles is the #1 bike shop I have ever found. Thanks so much Luke. I will be back!

After my initial review things have been sorted bu that owner of Broadribbs, who was very apologetic and what's to do rig for his LBS and review. So this is a thumbs up from me, and the actual work on the bike is perfect. Thanks Luke.

Very pleased with my road bike back after service and repair at the Bicester shop. As well as the faults I knew about (chain, cassette problems) cables were replaced, the derailleur is squeaky clean, brakes are sharp and handlebar shock tape replaced. It really feels as good as new. The service staff really know what they are doing. Particularly pleased as Dawes have now stopped making my bike model (Galaxy) so I couldn't have replaced it.

Can't thank these guys enough. I had a part on a unique bike that had broke, everywhere seemed like a dead end, so my £3000 bike would need a part manufacturered from scratch.
HOWEVER, they managed to source 2 possible replacement parts, one from the UK and one from a supplier in China.

They didn't really gain anything from this as they didn't sell me anything but their help was amazing and I highly recommend them. Genuinely very grateful for their help!
