I absolutely loved my two-tier cut edge veil from Britten Weddings. I chose the ivory Italian tulle and it was honestly perfect. The tulle was so soft and delicate, and the simple cut edge gave it such an elegant, timeless look without taking anything away from my dress.

The team were also so helpful when I was choosing the right veil. I had initially ordered the off-white, but it was a little too white for my particular dress, and returning it and switching to the ivory was really easy. They were lovely and helpful throughout the process.

The two tiers fell beautifully and I loved having the shorter blusher for the ceremony. The quality was gorgeous, it photographed beautifully and it felt really special to wear. I’m so happy I chose Britten for my wedding veil and would absolutely recommend them to other brides!

I ordered two veils in different shades just two weeks before my wedding, and honestly couldn't recommend Britten more. They asked for my wedding date to make sure everything would arrive in time, and it did, beautifully packaged and faster than I expected.

On the day, I wore the 'Celine' barely there veil in ivory. It matched my dress perfectly, and the fabric was gorgeous, so soft and delicate. The loveliest pairing with my archival YSL gown.

I ordered my ivory veil online from this atelier, and I couldn't be happier! The photos on the website were accurate, but in real life it's even more beautiful — that warm pearlescent ivory shade I was hoping for. Absolutely thrilled with Britten! They were incredibly flexible and quick to help create a custom veil, thoughtfully adapting the length of the blusher to suit the cut of my dress while maintaining the cathedral length I wanted. They customised it to have a satin edging and drop veil style. They were very prompt in responding to emails and delivery. The veil itself is stunning- exactly as I hoped- with traditional Italian tulle that perfectly honours my Italian in-laws. Friendly service, stunning design, excellent quality, and it looks priceless. I couldn’t be happier and can’t wait to share photos after the big day!

I reached out to Britten Weddings after spending too much money on Etsy and being dissatisfied with what I got. I was looking for a very particular necklace for my wedding day, and everything else I was finding was falling short of my vision. I found a necklace that I loved on their website, but had particular customizations I wanted to make to make it perfect. I should also mention, I was only about a month out from my wedding, so timelines were tight! Sarah and Matthew were incredibly gracious when I reached out via email, answered all my questions and confirmed that they could create my custom necklace. What I received was the necklace of my dreams, and it arrived within 3 weeks of my order. It is handcrafted and great quality for the price. I cannot wait to wear this necklace on my wedding day, and I'm forever grateful that I reached out to Britten Weddings! I only wish I had found them sooner in my wedding planning so I could have ordered my veil and other accessories from them as well.

Britten were very responsive via email and even helped me create my custom veil for my ceremony. They were always extremely friendly and I was very happy with my veil on the day.

Ordered a pearl backdrop necklace, beautifully made, the alterations i needed were done precisely as imagined, and Sarah was a delight!

Sarah has been brilliant from my first enquiry at making a custom veil for my wedding. She is always very responsive and gave me great advice in picking the length of the veil, in addition to various font options for the embroidery. The final product was delivered on time for my dress fittings and was a work of art - it looked stunning on my wedding day! Thank you Sarah and team for your amazing work.

After countless evenings searching online and in-store for a 'barely there' veil with scalloped lace edge in the right length and at the right price point, I finally came across Britten and I couldn't be happier!

Sarah was incredibly helpful, personable, and patient with back-and-forth emails, and I truly felt like I was being taken care of during the process. I was able to request a custom length without blowing my budget, and when the lace that I'd chosen was temporarily out of stock (and I was running out of time - eek!), Sarah found an alternative and I received my beautiful veil in plenty of time to fly overseas with it for the wedding. Travel /shipping creases steamed out of it easily and it was perfect on the day.

Buying online can feel risky, but this experience was a great one and I would 100% recommend Britten. Happy wedding planning!

Absolutely terrible customer service. I ordered a veil on 24th June and did not like it so decided to return it two weeks later. The return was well received the next day, but to this date (29 Aug) Sarah still has not refunded me. I emailed her several times and she keeps promising to process the refund but she just does not do it. Absolutely terrible service, I would never order from her website again.

Fabulous small business. I originally ordered two veils in different lengths, knowing that I could return one after trying with my dress. They arrived within a few days and were both fabulous, but I should have ordered tulle samples first as the material wasn't quite what I had wanted. Sarah was super helpful via email, I returned both, ordered tulle samples and subsequently ordered a new veil. It was getting very late in the day and I was panicking, but Sarah hand makes each veil and there is a well-priced rush order option - I would have never been able to get something of such quality, or in time, from another website and was running out of time/sanity to shop around! I cannot wait to wear this beautiful piece on my wedding day in a few days and will recommend Britten to anybody. Thank you so much again to Sarah x

The veil I purchased was beautiful. I was a bit apprehensive about purchasing online, but the veil was exactly what I was looking for and good value. I loved the attention to detail including that it arrived in a lovely box with a handwritten card.

Sarah Jane responded promptly to my emails and we arranged a time for her to call me so she could provide advice around what matched and I could share pictures of my dress. All the transactions (including a return of an identical second veil I had ordered just in a different size) went through smoothly. It would be nice though if it was a little easier to communicate by giving a dedicated phone number, even if it’s only available to call for a few hours over the week, but I understand that this might be tricky given it is a small business.

I have been trying for weeks to contact Britten wedding veils to discuss a possible purchase. I have left numerous messages and emailed but not heard back. Such a shame as veils look amazing
