My experience is exactly the same as below. Website looked great, ordered beautiful double egg chair in good faith and its not arrived despite lots of promises.

Ordered a double egg chair because it seemed like a good deal - the old adage "if it looks like it's too good to be true, it probably is..." applies. After a couple of weeks of no contact from them re delivery I contacted them only to be told they had supply chain delays but I was given a delivery date when I should receive it.
That date came and went so I contacted them again and they said it's now being prepared for dispatch but no new delivery date. Again a week or 2 went past between them not responding to follow up emails or responding with the exact same email, word for word like a templated email that my item was being prepared for dispatch.
Luckily as I had paid via Klarna I was able to stop further payments and request a refund which to their credit I received fairly promptly.
There may well be genuine supply chain issues or they may have taken more orders than they had supply, that's understandable if their customer service was better so they could provide genuine explanations and commitments. Unfortunately though it was probably the worst online shopping experience I've had in a long old while...

This company is a scam, they don’t send the item and don’t give a refund even though they promise too. I’ll be getting my money back via other methods

Impossible to contact, they ignore messages and refuse to answer phones.
I simply wanted an update on my delivery as was due on holiday and refuse to answer

BE CAREFUL! They take your money as a pre-order and wait 160 days if it’s PayPal to NOT pay you the money back!
My story was exactly the same what many people’s below - double egg chair, preordered, kept postponing and finally never came.
Fortunately I kept an eye on the days and managed to get the refund.

We ordered a Double Egg Chair in July ‘22 for delivery in early September. Chair failed to arrive in September and subsequent promises to deliver in October/early-November failed to materialise. Cancelled order on 9th November, but still waiting for refund. Several emails & chat messages to Briq seeking information about promised refund have all been ignored. Now seeking legal advice on this matter. Strongly recommend that you do not attempt to buy anything from Briq.

I bought a sofa where it said 7 days delivery time...7 days later I had to chase THEM up to see wher it was, only then was I told that they were changing couriers and my sofa would be delivered "some time around the beginning of December, not impressed!

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!! Order has never arrived - disgraceful customer service ignoring messages and not returning calls.
Asked for refund - not heard from them at all

Placed an order in June, never arrived after 6 delays is succession. Got convinced to place an order again under a promise delivery within 2 weeks, 5 weeks later having been lied twice still no delivery. Shocking!

Absolute joke of a company. Pre-ordered the double egg chair at the end of June with delivery stated as August. When it didn't arrive I contacted them and was told that they had been delayed and would be arriving in a couple of weeks. This went on until October and it became very clear that it was never going to arrive so I cancelled the order and requested a refund. It is now the 21st November and I am still yet to receive my refund

Avoid this scum company! Made order in September still no item, full of promises and now not responding at all. All the positive reviews are fake here. They should be taken to court. I will make sure they are reported. Luckily paid with my credit card so I can apply a chargeback otherwise it would be a very painful chase of the money.. absolute scam and waste of time.

Furniture arrived damaged, as requested sent photo of damage, told a collection would be arranged and that was over two months ago. Left emails and reassured that they were aware of our situation. The phone line is never answered-latest the message machine is full. Still out of pocket!

Do NOT buy from this company. They are very responsive when it's a query about a product, but absolutely awful when it came to a refund. Did not refund my order that I cancelled, despite saying they had cancelled and refunded. Wouldn't respond to any emails regarding refund. My card company refunded me in the end. Avoid this company. So many genuine companies selling egg chairs. This company is a complete sham.

Ordered an egg chair over two months ago. Despite repeated assurances that it would turn up, it still hasn't and there's no indication it ever will. Have completely missed the last of the good weather now. Very disappointed.

Ordered my double egg chair on the 25th August 2022, still waiting for it to arrive. Had very little contact from them. Asked for a full refund and no reply. Tried calling them and no reply. This company are terrible. Don't buy from them.

Sadly my experience mirrors many many others. After delivery of a lovely single egg chair (albeit first one was damaged but briq were responsive and organised replacement parts quickly) I ordered a double one as such a good price back in May. Cone June no sign of it so emailed and got a prompt reply saying it was on pre order so delivery would be around 18th July. When I ordered there was no mention of pre-order. But I thought ok July isn’t too bad. It came and went with no updates or sign of the chair. I emailed again… delays in shipping will get it August. Ok give them benefit of doubt as know there have been lots of logistics issues. August came and went… same story. Emailed again and said refund please. Oh no it’s coming we have a confirmed date. It came and went, please give me a refund. We will give you a free cover it’s coming soon. We have a order being prepared for dispatch status. Hmmm… two weeks came and went so I emailed yet again. No response this time. A further week later I emailed and said ok just give me a refund no more delays. Got a response saying they will. Let’s see. I don’t hold out much hope. Absolute joke.

My order never arrived, I managed to get through to them once and was told that my 3 week wait was due to a courier strike. I was told I would be refunded however it never came. I’ve tried to call them many times since but it goes to answer machine, they don’t respond to emails so I’ve had to talk with my card company to try and recover a refund .

Whatever you do, please avoid this company. I should have listened to the poor reviews, but sadly I didn’t because the item was exactly what I wanted at a relatively good cost. I made an order back in July with an expected delivery date a month or so later. This was delayed several times. I understand that supply issues happen, but there was absolutely no communication from anyone to let me know about the delay and no estimation of a new date. Weeks went by, with every predicted date (when I managed to get one out of them) passing by and still nothing. Eventually, I decided to cancel the order given that they refused to offer a discount to compensate for the ridiculously long delay (my order was garden furniture and summer by this point had passed) and I’d lost hope in ever receiving the item. I received an email in September stating the order was cancelled, but no money has been returned to my account. I’ve chased several times and now they are ignoring my messages. They have £350 of my money and there is no active order.. this company a complete scam. I’ll be complaining to my credit card company in attempt to get the money back and consulting the Financial Ombudsman.

Take this as a warning, please don’t do what I did and get sucked in by the prices - it really isn’t worth the time spent trying to retrieve your money when the company scams you and doesn’t provide the product or a refund. This company has zero customer service or respect for those who choose to buy from them.

I have been waiting over 3 months for delivery since placing my order #18623. I still don't have my item. Tried to follow up multiple times regarding my order, first they've said delivery will be delayed, then said there is more delay so they'd give free cover, then they committed to another delivery timeframe which never took place. Customer service is not existing.... No reply to my email. Tried to contact them via Instagram - they've replied once but never provided delivery date. I will be contacting my bank to claim money back. Really poor experience.

The order was due to take almost 3 months so I cancelled it.

All seemed well however it is now impossible to get my money back…

Getting the same replies to my man at emails that accounts are dealing with the refund yet no firm date.

Am reporting to trading standards and will looking to get money back from my credit card company..
