I wrote my memoir as a way of processing a chapter of my life that was both difficult and deeply transformative. Never expected it to resonate beyond my own circle but the publishing team saw something in it worth presenting to the world properly.

My father passed away two years ago and I promised myself I would finally finish the book he always believed I had in me. Finishing the manuscript was emotional enough but working with a team that handled his story with such tenderness and respect made the whole publishing journey feel like a tribute worthy of him.

I recently published my first poetry book and I'm so thankful that I chose Bridge Publishers! The team was amazing! Being almost computer illiterate, I didn't even know how to create a manuscript! They walked me through every stage, added beautiful pictures where needed, sprinkled magical fairy dust from cover to cover and handed me a beautiful finished book that I am so very pleased with and proud of. The whole team celebrated my launch day with me on a group call. Cake, confetti, the works. Completely unnecessary but incredibly thoughtful. It turned what could have been a lonely milestone into a genuine shared moment. Those personal touches show that the people behind this service actually care about the authors they work with.

The interior formatting looked great on screen but when printed the margins were way too narrow and the text felt cramped. Had to go back and forth three times to get it fixed and each revision round took two weeks. Simple stuff that should have been caught the first time around.

I tried working with a mid-sized publishing company last year, and honestly, it was a mixed experience. The editing team was solid and gave helpful feedback, but communication was slower than I expected. It didn’t feel like they were fully invested in my book, more like just another project in the queue.

Mixed feelings honestly. Some of their releases feel really rushed editing-wise I've caught typos in a couple books that kind of pulled me out of the story. But then they'll put out something absolutely stunning and I remember why I keep coming back. Their hardcovers look beautiful on a shelf, I'll give them that.
