Ordered slotted rotors
Update. I ordered slotted rotors, fit was on target but the slots were a little disapointing I normally use Z STOP. The web site made it seem like they made them right there. I bashed the brake pads for not being the right size. I made a mistake and didn't realize the fronts and rears are different sizes. After I dug through the box I found they had sent the correct ones. My apologies to Brake Performance. They sent me what I ordered.

I don't feel like i should have to box…
I don't feel like i should have to box my own rotors and to try and figure out what part # they are by looking at the stamp on the rotor, its too time consuming. Also the amount of time it takes to get the rotors. When i need rotors, i need them to be able to ship out right away.

Because each set of rotors is custom machined and zinc plated to order, our process takes up to 72 hours before the items ship. We clearly note this timeframe on our website so customers can plan accordingly, but we certainly understand that sometimes parts are needed more urgently.
Regarding figuring out part numbers by stamps on rotors, we have always used this method to differentiate different parts from one another and since there are countless part numbers we feel this method is efficient, necessary and standard industry norms but we will be more than happy to have your feed-back to explore new ideas since you are a part store and may very well have new and better ideas.

Im writing solely on a product view. Company is well organized and has deliveries made on time. But unfortunately i was very disappointed with the rotor and pad kit that i installed. Not even 5 miles after driving there was heavy squeaking and squealing from the brake rotors that only progressively got worse. Ive triple checked installation procedures and confirmed that it wasn't installation fault.

Absolute junk rotors. Warped within 6 months and 5k miles. Only thing worse is their warranty and customer service. Wouldn’t recommend this joke of a company and product to anyone 🚮

Our rotors are backed by a Lifetime Replacement Warranty, which provides free replacement rotors if an issue occurs. As clearly outlined in our warranty guidelines, customers are responsible for shipping costs when submitting a warranty claim.
In this case, our team did offer to honor the warranty by replacing the rotors at no charge, consistent with our policy. Unfortunately, the replacement could not proceed because the required shipping portion of the warranty process was declined.
We always strive to support our customers and resolve issues fairly within the terms of our warranty. If you’d like to continue the warranty process, our support team would still be happy to assist.

My mistake, their support
I made a mistake when ordering because I did not know anything about how many options BMW had for brakes. They made the return easy.
Understand, shipping is not cheap, brakes are heavy.
But the process was simple and they even sent me return labels. Yes I had to pay for it. Nut my second and corrected order came in days. And they noticed I had forgotten to order brake pads (I thought I ordered the complete kit) and got them added to the order before they shipped out.

Greater Cooling = Less Warpage
My wife's vehicle suffered from warped rotors causing a lot of shaking in the steering wheel. I intentionally purchased slotted and cross-drilled rotors because of their greater cooling capacity and that slows down rotor warpage, The only issue that I had didn't have anything to do with the product but that the vehicle has EPB (Electronic Parking Brake) and I had never worked on a vehicle with this system before. It was a learning experience!
