Awful results
Awful results; I used two syringes over two weeks after my Invisalign treatment, under the care of my dentist. The sensitivity was manageable, but the result is terrible. Some parts of my teeth whitened well, others did not change at all, and now I’m left with ugly, patchy teeth that are white in some places and yellow in others. I followed the instructions fully and altered my diet to avoid dark/staining foods. Extremely disappointing and hope my teeth will now go back to yellow to even out as one colour. Avoid!

Hello there,
I am sorry you have not had the result you hoped for, but this is not a failing with the product itself.
With regards to white spots on the teeth - these are a biological issue with the teeth themselves.
These white patches are areas of fluorosis - where the enamel crystal has failed to form properly. In some people, these patches are noticeable at all times, and in some, they only manifest when they begin whitening. Usually with fluorosis, where there are white patches, these whiten much quicker than the surrounding tooth, so once you commence treatment, the teeth look initially much worse. The white patches are not due to dehydration, these areas of the teeth will simply whiten more readily.
From here you have several options:
Firstly, you can stop whitening. Although it will take some time, the teeth will eventually fade back to their original colour.
The second option is to continue whitening. You would need to whiten the teeth to saturation - that is whiten them until they will not go any whiter. At this point, the surrounding tooth may end up being nearly the same colour as the white spots and no further treatment will be required.
If this is not successful, the dentist can use a process called micro-abrasion to try and polish some of the lesions out - this will only work if they are very superficial.
If this does not give the desired result, then there is the option of Icon treatment. Icon works by 'wetting' the areas of white enamel and allowing them to blend with the surrounding tooth. It works well if the white spots are not too deep into the tooth. The patient can whiten until they are happy with the tooth colour surrounding the white spots, the Icon treatment will then blend the white spots to the colour of the surrounding tooth.
The last option, if all else fails, is to mask the areas with composite bonding.
It is important to work through the above stages chronologically, so as to go from the least invasive, to the most invasive option.

Disappointing results
After 3 weeks in 10% gel and 2 weeks on 16% gel i haven't seen a huge difference.They are brighter but not white and the bits near the gums are darker .Once you stop the teeth whitening they seem to go darker again, thoroughly disappointed for the amount you pay ,currently looking to find a dentist who does in house whitening

I couldn’t have been happy with the…
I couldn’t have been happy with the experience I have had with my Boutique whitening kit. The instructions are so easy to follow. I had been put off whitening for so long due to worrying it might cause sensitivity. I was advised to use the Boutique toothpaste prior and given this I’m happy to report I’ve had no concerns whatsoever. I couldn’t be happier with how my teeth look! Thank you boutique :-)
