Dropped the bouncy castle of early, picked up on time, easy set up and removal

We were very worried about ordering from this company as we have to agree communication is a real problem so that you are not sure if you will get what you ordered. However, having finally managed to make contact, the service was excellent. We were given a delivery slot last minute, which was adhered to, the guys were quick, efficient and polite and the bouncy castle just what we wanted. It would’ve have been 5 stars if the communication had been as efficient.

We ordered a ball pit from this company for £85 for our baby’s first birthday celebration. They emailed us asking us to sign the purchase documents and requested that we pay in cash on the day of the event. We prepared the cash in advance, even though we already had so many other things to organise for our baby’s birthday.

I specifically asked them to deliver the ball pit between 12:00 and 12:30 pm, as they told us that it would only take around 10 minutes to set up. I explained clearly that we needed it ready before the event because we wanted to take photos of our baby and the decorations before the guests arrived. We also wanted everything ready before our baby became tired and the guests arrived.

On the day, I was extremely stressed because I had to stop dealing with the other birthday arrangements and repeatedly call and message them to find out where the delivery was. They kept telling me that the driver was on the way, but the delivery never arrived.

Then, just 19 minutes before the party was due to start, the owner finally told me that they could not deliver the ball pit. There was no proper apology or meaningful explanation.

I even asked whether, since the company provides many different party items, they could deliver anything else suitable for my baby’s first birthday as an alternative. They simply said no.

This was incredibly disappointing and stressful, especially because this was our baby’s first birthday, which is a very special occasion for our family. We trusted this company, prepared everything as requested and paid attention to their instructions, but they let us down at the last minute.

I would strongly advise others to think twice before booking with this company. We were left without the item we had paid for and had to deal with unnecessary stress on a day that should have been about celebrating our baby.
