Been wanting to go to this for ages and finally got the chance to. Friends were saying to me "Oh you'll love it" "Right up your street" etc. Well they were wrong, I didn't just like it, I absolutely loved it. We're talking "off the richter scale" loved it. Every single minute, from the moment we walked in, was pure excitement, energy, joy and laughter. The tunes belted out were absolute classics, and the randomness of them just added to the whole experience. Number 80 was called so lets pause the bingo and dance to a couple of 80s bangers! Yes the prizes were a bit cheesy, but they were funny. Who doesn't love a box of coco pops! And to be fair the cash prizes for the full house weren't too shabby. The atmosphere at times took you back to the glory clubbing days of the 90s and 00s, everybody up on the benches going mental. I walked out aching everywhere, could barely walk the next day, but wow, what memories. What a night. Best £20 I've ever spent? Yes, quite possibly.

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at Bongo Bingo on my birthday night out. There were 7 of us in total and we had all paid for tickets, which came to £161 altogether. We were really excited for the night, but it quickly turned into a very frustrating and upsetting experience.

When we arrived, we were told there were no spare tables available and that the venue had actually been oversold that night. Because of this, our group couldn’t be seated and were expected to just stand at the bar area. This was particularly disappointing as we had booked this as a birthday celebration and expected to be able to sit together and properly enjoy the event.

What made the situation even more frustrating was that other groups who arrived after us were somehow arranged a table, yet when we asked if anything could be done for our group, we were simply told there was nothing they could do. The lack of fairness and organisation was really disappointing.

To make matters worse, the security staff on the door were rude and abrupt when we tried to ask for help or clarification, which just added to the negative atmosphere at the start of the night.

Between the expensive drinks inside and the £161 we had already spent on tickets, we expected a much better experience. Instead, after only being in the venue for around an hour with nowhere for our group to sit, we felt we had no choice but to leave.

Overall, what was meant to be a fun birthday celebration ended up being completely ruined due to poor organisation, overselling of the event, and unhelpful staff. It was a really disappointing experience and not what we expected at all.

Doors specified at 1800hrs to close at 1845, this was delayed by 1 hour.

The hall this event takes place in is cramped, there is nowhere to dance is you so wish, the bouncers request; that you do not dance on tables under threat of removal from the event, that you dance on the flimsy benches at your own risk; this is an admission that the venue is not suitable, a risk to health and safety and that injury is likely.

As for the entertainment, the bingo/DJ guy had an accent so thick that even Google Translate would’ve given up. It was like playing bingo while listening to an angry blender. Half of the time, the lights were directed right into your face at eye level, turning every moment into an impromptu laser tag battle. And don’t even get me started on the game intervals, where the lighting was so inconsistent, I felt like I was in the middle of a blackout. The sound levels were far to high, both music and during game play.

Drinks were expectedly overpriced, a multipack 440ml can of strongbow (not to be sold seperatly) selling for just under £7.

The mens toilets were flooded, there was the unholy combination of turds flowing in a stream of urine.

The majority of prizes are terrible (life size cardboard cut out of the kid from home alone, a henry vacuum cleaner and many more I choose to forget)

I feel this event has tried to bring together mixed age groups in a combined experience yet fails to create a valuable one, and much like the stream of sh*t and p*ss found in the mens toilets inside the venue, I should have stepped around it.

Positives - Contrary to some other reviews on here, the bouncers seemed decent.

Bongos Bingo is a decent night out , sadly was disappointed by the last Christmas show . Started 15 mins late no apology from host at all , just carried on like nothing happened.
I have been to a few shows and have loved the energy and the dancers are always funny .

I think that was taking the mick tonight £21 per ticket , including £3.00 booking fee .

Personally I felt like it was the same people giving false calls .

Yeah not overly that impressed with the prizes cash is great some of them are a bit naff .

I agree with others drinks are stupid prices , I would say that is more an issue with the venue .

Attended Cambridge Bongo Bingo event in the afternoon (sadly missed the evening tickets) but it was AMAZING! In fact really pleased we got the afternoon session! Decided this as our works party & the Bongo’s staff did not disappoint. It was a perfect high energy vibe throughout. The music was great, I haven’t laughed, danced & sang that much in a long time. The venue was a perfect choice, seating were benches with tables (perfect for all the dancing we did on them!) reasonably priced for such an event included pen and bingo card. All 16 of us are still beaming from the experience & cannot wait to go again (when next local, hopefully 2026 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼) If you want a day rave, with crazy prizes, a laugh minute, good music and fun with friends BOOK NOW! 🥳

The whole experience is so funny and the vibes are amazing, prizes are great I cannot fault this however the tables were very tight and the people next to us kept knocking over our drinks and barging into us, the girls next to us would stand up on the benches and then slope down on our backs to sit back down, we basically left with skid marks on our back it was that close knit. All tables were like this.. If you can sort out the tables and move them apart so we can all have our own space then this would be 10/10. There was literally no room to move :( Keep this in mind if you are booking and like your space. Another thing to keep in mind is the prices of drinks, soooo expensive, 3 bottles of prosecco were over £70 and one bottle was £35- make sure you pre drink beforehand otherwise you'll be in debt. - Steel Yard London was the venue.

Bongos bingo in Brighton, we had a fab time, we laughed for 3+ hours the two Aussie guys were fun , bingo prizes were interesting and funny, everyone got involved, only issue was the staff serving drinks to the table, bad service, and rude. Otherwise it would have been 5 * the service let it down so much. The rudest staff - literally terrible.

Booked Bongo’s Bingo Liverpool for a birthday with 25 guests. Two were wheelchair users, but we were made to queue with no help. Two others were refused entry unfairly for their outfits, while others inside wore similar or more casual clothes.

Security told my aunty to get out of her wheelchair or leave. She was offered no alternative and surrounded by TEN guards. Her chair was then folded and put against the fire exit — apparently for “safety.” My brother, also in a wheelchair, was told the same.

Staff were rude and defensive. I had to argue to get the guard’s badge ID. The company’s email response twisted facts and defended everything.

They’ve shown a total lack of respect for disabled guests and basic human decency. I’ve filed complaints with Trading Standards and the SIA. Never again.

Terrible experience, bar staff were completely unprepared. We got there 10mins after it opened to be told that they only had one cold bottle of white wine.
They seemed more interested in speaking to their friends than serving any drinks.

Bouncers are completely outnumbered and one in particular would only have a go a tables of women and not men. They seemed scared of the larger groups of men but which made a lot of the women uncomfortable knowing that if anything happened they would simply turn a blind eye

The announcers on stage stripped off to their boxers and danced down all the tables. It was a really uncomfortable experience and they seemed one step away from falling flat on their faces

Birmingham venue 02 academy. Don't waste your money. Over an hour in he queue and ended up in just seats out if the way. No where for drinks and tickets. The show was rushed because they started late. Should give a refund as it wasn't worth it

Terrible customer service, a friend arrived shortly after us and the staff would not let her sit with us on the ground floor, and would not let us move to her either in the gallery! Absolutely nonsense of a company!

We all absolutely loved it, it was a great night and a huge laugh. Booking was easy, bar and venue lines took only minutes to get through. And the host and dancers were absolutely amazing. Prizes were interesting to say the least. However, we went to the octagon, Sheffield and the drinks prices were pretty pricey. Overall, I'd recommend this for almost everyone (who's over 18) and can almost guarantee you'll have a great time.

My daughter provided me a link to purchase a ticket for her 18th birthday celebration and the website kept trying to force me into giving my postcode and to agree to promotional emails. The only way I could remove this was go in through the main website. I didn’t spot that there were 2 sessions on Saturday 1st February in Birmingham and I purchased a daytime ticket instead of evening. Upon receipt of the confirmation email, minutes later, I noticed my error and immediately contacted the company asking to swap my ticket to the evening session.
The email I received demonstrated their appalling policy and customer service. I shall never use this company again and will widely be sharing my experience.

Message: Good morning, I’ve just purchased a ticket to bingo bingo for my daughters 18th birthday celebration on February 1st in Birmingham. I accidentally bought a daytime ticket instead of evening. Please can this be changed to an evening ticket? Many thanks, Rebecca

Many thanks for your email. Sincere apologies but we're not able to exchange, refund, credit the account, change the date, time or location of an existing booking once the order has been placed and the tickets issued as per the terms and conditions below;

2.2. It is your responsibility:
To check all personal details are correct when purchasing your tickets.
To check you are purchasing tickets for the correct date/time or venue. Tickets will not be refunded, compensated or transferred if this is incorrect.

Should you be unable to attend, but know of anyone else who may be able to attend in your place, you are more than welcome to pass the tickets on and would just need to provide a screenshot of the tickets, clearly displaying the QR code so that this can be scanned to gain entry.

We booked this for 11 of us for a work night out on Saturday in Leeds. Have been before and had a great time but this time, despite arriving 45 minutes early, the main ground floor and tables were full.
Had to sit upstairs on the balcony looking down at the event, no tables just rows of seats, not the same experience at all, couldn’t communicate with each other, left half way through.

I’d rather just not be sold a ticket than be sold them and then arrange a full day around the event just to find out we’re on a balcony away from the action. Not worth going to if you’re on the balcony in my opinion.

Absolutely. Disgusting company i clicked on 30th of March for 2 tickets. When I entered payment details, confirmation of the 27th of April came through. I have contacted Bongo bingo, immediately and they have told me no refund or exchanges for their mistake!!!!Have now seen on their feedback that this has happened to other people. Bongo bingo SORT IT OUT!!!!!

They aren't actually playing bingo, genuinely don't get yourself in this situation lol
